Match: 4 vs 4 Doubles
DQ: 1 Day
Limits: 1 Recovery Move, 5 Chills
Switch: Switch = KO
Abilities: Yes (All)
Items: No

Arena: ASB Arena

Surrounded by thousands of screaming Pokemon fans, the ASB Arena can be best described as a standard Pokemon battling arena. In the center of the arena lies a dirt-based floor outlined to show two separate sides (with a white Pokeball center). Surrounding the dirt is a moat filled with water. The moat is about fifteen feet wide and creates a perimeter around the dirt arena. The arena itself is eighty feet wide, one hundred feet long. All moves, weathers, and abilities are legal for the match, since it's an outdoor arena with a large water source and packed dirt. Pokemon must stay in the arena (or the dimensions of the arena in the case of Flying Pokemon, who cannot leave the arena and cannot fly higher than sixty feet). This prevents Pokemon from injuring the crowd watching the tournament. There are no outside interruptions by fans, Pokemon, or other elements not associated with the current battle.

Ok, go Skarmory and Scizor!
Skarmory begin by Taunting Kitsunoh, unless he Taunts you first, in which case you should Brave Bird Scyther. Then Night Slash Kitsunoh, and finish by using Spikes, unless you're already Taunted, in which case Brave Bird Scyther again.
Scizor, at all times you should avoid Will-O-Wisp. If it is used, Vacuum Wave away from it. Otherwise, begin by using Swords Dance, then Pursuit Kitsunoh twice. (Technician)

So much for taking it easy on unevolveds lol.

Nox, open by Taunting Skarmory. We don't want that thing causing trouble! From there, use Will-o-Wisp on Scizor and make sure it hits! Use all your ghostly abilities! If it doesn't hit though, use it again and make sure it does. If it does hit the first time, use Fake Out on Skarmory.

Scyther, open by Countering Skarmory's Brave Bird for massive damage! Follow up with a 4-clone Double Team, and close it off with a Brick Break on Skarmory! If Skarmory is using Brave Bird on you again though, hit back with Counter.

Nox:
Taunt (Skarmory)~Will-o-wisp (Scizor)~Fake Out (Skarmory)
IF first Will-o-wisp misses, use it again instead of Fake Out

Jecht:
Counter (Skarmory)~Double Team (4 clones)~Brick Break (Skarmory)
IF Skarmory uses Brave Bird on you on action 3 without being Faked Out by Nox, use Counter again.

A quick note to ElDino- iirc, only Agility and Dig/Fly/Bounce/Dive can be used to evade an attack (I could be wrong, though). The first WoW therefore missed naturally but the second one hit. I didn't deduce any energy for the two Vacuum Waves, though.

The first round of the ASB tournament is coming to an end, but we find ourselves in the same arena for a non-tourney intermission match. This 4 vs 4 Doubles match will certainly be an intense match.

Nox the Kitsunoh is the fastest of the four Pokemon in the arena and strikes first! For some reason, Nox doesn't like Skarmory. Maybe its his appearance, maybe Nox hates other Steel-mons, I don't know. Feeling cocky, he Taunts Skarmory, sending it in a blinding rage, who has this feeling of ramming into something with a Brave Bird. Using it on Nox wouldn't be too effective, so he rams right into Jetch the Scyther. Whoah, what's this now? Jetch takes on the attack like a man, but he covers himself in a red aura as Skarmory slammed into him. The red aura Countered the attack right at the bird! Scizor decides to stay in the background and silently Sword Dances.

Nox apparently sees Scizor twirling and dancing, and is not impressed. The ghost sends a gastly Will-o-Wisp at Scizor, but needs some aiming skills, for the attack missed. Nevertheless, Scizor panics and tries to dodge the move with Vacuum Wave, which doesn't really work. Meanwhile, Jetch took a number from the last attack, and creates 4 Double Team clones to prevent future attacks. Skarmory becomes dizzy from seeing all of the clones, and attacks Nox instead with a Night Slash- a critical hit, by the look on Nox's face.

Ignoring Skarmory's claws, Nox sends another ghostly Will-o-Wisp at Scizor, which hits this time. Poor Scizor once again panics and attempts to dodge with Vacuum Wave, which fails again. Jecth launches himself at Skarmory with a Brick Break straight to the belly! Skarmory tries to retaliate with another Brave Bird, but hits a Double Team clone.

Nox: Taunt on Skarmory for 6 actions. Costs 10 energy.
Skarmory: Brave Bird on Jecth. Deals 24.75 damage. Costs 7 energy. 8.25 recoil.
Scizor: Swords Dance. Costs 7 energy.
Jecth: Counter on Skarmory. Deals 36.13 damage. Costs 14 energy.

Nox: Will-o-Wisp on Scizor. Misses. Costs 7.5 energy.
Jecth: Double Team (4 clones). Costs 16 energy.
Skarmory: Night Slash on Nox. Critical hit! Deals 8.5 damage. Costs 5 energy.
Scizor: Attempts to use Vaccuum Wave to speed away. WoW misses, but only moves like Agility and Fly/Dig/Bounce/Dive can be used to evade.

Nox: Will-o-Wisp on Scizor. Costs 9.5 energy.
Jetch: Brick Break on Skarmory. Deals 8 damage. Costs 6 energy.
Skarmory: Brave Bird on Jetch. Hits a DT clone. Costs 7 energy.
Scizor: Tries to evade Will-o-Wisp via Vaccuum Wave. Fails.

Just noting that Scizor should also have a 2nd degree burn status ("Nox sends another ghostly Will-o-Wisp at Scizor, which hits this time") and Skarmory should be taunted for 3 more actions (thus Spikes should also have failed)
_____________________________

Alright guys, great job for the first round!

Nox, open with a Thunder Fang aimed at Skarmory, then Yawn at Scizor to put him to sleep. Finish with another Thunder Fang. If Skarmory is for some reason not taunted, replace your first Thunder Fang with Taunt.

Scyther, start by using Brick Break again on Skarmory, followed by a Defog to get rid of Scizor's pesky boosts, as well as those unappealing Spikes. Conclude with another Brick Break on Skarmory. If it tries to use Brave Bird on you, replace that action with Counter, and move your remaining actions to the right.

Nox:
Thunder Fang (Skarmory)~Yawn (Scizor)~Thunder Fang (Skarmory)
IF Skarmory is for some reason not taunted this round, replace action 1 with Taunt

Scyther:
Brick Break (Skarmory)~Defog (eliminating Scizor's boosts and clearing the field of Spikes)~Brick Break (Skarmory)
IF Skarmory uses Brave Break on you, replace the action with Counter, moving remaining actions to the right (i.e. if Brave Bird is A2, Counter and move Defog to A3)

Ok guys, lets give them a taste of their own medicine!

Scizor,
I want you to begin by using Double Team to make 4 clones. Hopefully, that should make the Yawn miss on the next turn. Then, use Acrobatics on Scyther twice!
Skarmory, we're going to take quite a beating here, but I want you to concentrate on knocking out Scyther. Begin by using Sand Attack on that Kitsunoh. Then Brave Bird on Scyther twice.

You can do this guys!

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that since Yawn is an aural (audio) attack, clones don't help. I could be wrong though.

Just as the last round ends, this one begins! How will this one affect the outcome of the match?

Nox's superior speed starts things off again. His vicious fangs start to crackle with electricity as he zooms across the arena and right into Skarmory. Normally, the metal bird laughs at physical attacks, but this Thunder Fang zaps him silly- hey, what's this? It appears that Jetch silently clung to Nox's back as the ghost ran towards Skarmory! Jetch pops out of the Kitsunoh and does a somersault in the air until he lands on Skarmory's face with a Brick Break. Skarm at first is suprised, and secretly, impressed at this, but quickly shoves sand into Nox to prevent him from attacking. Scizor once again stays in the background and creates 4 Double Team clones.

And yet again, Scizor doesn't escape Nox's attention! Quite frankly, Scizor's action bores Nox. Double Team? Just after Jetch used it? What a poser, Nox thinks to himself, and Yawns. Unfortunately, the sand in his eyes makes him Yawn in the wrong direction and miss. Meanwhile, Skarmory is ready for another Brave Bird attack by flying up and diving into Jetch. Jetch is confident that his clones will shield him, but just in case, sets up a red aura against him. Skarmory gets closer and closer to the four Scythers- will he hit the real one? Oof! It looks like he did hit the real Jetch, who winces in pain, but quickly Counters the attack. The Counter was so powerful that it knocks out the poor metal bird. Scizor gasps at his fallen companion. Feeling really mad and pissed, he dashes at Jetch, before jumping behind him and smacking him with his awesome Acrobatic skills.

Knocks gets ready with another Thunder Fang to sink into Skar- oh wait, he fainted. Well, this is embarrassing. He just sits there confused. Jetch meanwhile flaps his wings and sends out purple Defogging waves across the arena, re-setting Scizor's stats. Scizor scowls before preforming his same Acrobatic skills.

Nox: Thunder Fang on Skarmory. Deals 12 damage. Costs 6 energy.

Ok go Magnezone!

Scizor, being by using Swords Dance once again! If he uses Taunt, then use Acrobatics on Scyther. Finish off with an Bullet Punch, and then an Acrobatics. If Scyther faints, exchange the last action for a Pursuit on Kitsunoh.

Magnzezone, begin with a Magnet Rise, and then use Charge Beam, and the Thunderbolt on Kitsunoh.

Good job guys!

Scizor should have taken burn damage each action, and his physical attacks should have -3 BP for the duration of the burn and no more +1 Atk because of Defog.
_____________________

Nox, start out by Faking Out Magnezone so he can't use Magnet Rise. Then use Earthquake (Scyther is part flying so it won't hurt him!) on both opponents. Finish by using Magic Coat to deal some heavy damage to Magnezone.

Jecht, open by making another 4-clone Double Team so you can make it through the round. Then chill to regain some energy. Then finish up the round with a Brick Break on Magnezone. If however, Scizor managed to hit the real you with Bullet Punch, Protect on the last action instead.

Nox:
Fake Out (Magnezone)~Earthquake~Magic Coat (Magnezone)

Jecht:
Double Team (4 clones)~chill~Brick Break (Magnezone)
IF Scizor hits the real Scyther with Bullet Punch, you Protect A3 instead of Brick Break.

Scizor: 2nd degree burn, 4 Double Team clones

Scizor is secretly saddened by loss of his good friend Skarmory in the previous round. However, the metal bug still does not display any sign of emotion. Man, is this Pokemon concentrated! Instead, he silently greets ElDino's next Pokemon, Magnezone, with a quick nod as the round starts off again.

Nox, however, really likes to spoil moments. It hasn't been five seconds since Magnezone was sent out when suddenly, the ghost makes a Fake Out by clapping his hands loudly, shocking Magnezone and flinching him. Jetch catches Kitsunoh's eyes and quickly creates four Double Team clones to catch up to Scizor's clones. Scizor is not to be outdone! He (and his clones) quickly spin around each other together, like majestic ballerina dancers with swords on the stage, raising Scizor's attack by two stages. Magnezone groans. This was too much for it- it just came out of its Pokeball! With its ear's ringing due to Fake Out, the floating magnet shuts its eyes and does nothing. I don't blame him.

What is Nox doing now? He is closing his eyes and feels the energy of the tectonic plates on the Earth move ever so slowly. It just so happens that there is a tiiiiiny fault line in this very arena! Nox smiles, and punches the fault line precisly, triggering a massive Earthquake! Poor Magnezone is absolutely demolished by the attack- it Sturdy ability won't help out much- and it has no idea what is going on. Scizor winces a bit, but the real danger is that his Double Team clones are destroyed! Meanwhile, water from the moat splashes everywhere, drenching all four Pokemon. However, both Nox and Jetch aren't affected since they hover. In fact, Jetch smiles and chills out amongst the calamity- but wait! Scizor quickly launches a Bullet Punch at Jetch before he can chill! The attack smashes into a clone, but it would have done a critical hit if the real Jetch was hit. Meanwhile, Magnezone gets it revenge- it launches a concentrated Charge Beam straight at Kitsunoh! Wooooah, the attack absolutely fries the ghost! Could the water which was splashed by the earthquake increased the damage a bit?

That shock scared Nox quite a bit. Fearing any other shenanigans, he quickly sets up a protective Magic Coat. Jetch quickly slams into Magnezone with a chop so powerful that it would easily break bricks. Needless to say, the attack does not help Magnezone with its migraine at all. Scizor, however, quickly jumps out behind Magnezone and twirls in the air before landing on Jetch with his Acrobatic skills. The magnet wraps up this round with a nasty Thunderbolt at Nox which, once again, deals a bit more damage due to the water.

Nox: Fake Out on Magnezone. Deals 2.69 damage. Costs 4 energy.
Jecth: 4 Double Team clones. Costs 16 energy.
Scizor: Swords Dance. +2 Atk. Costs 7 energy. -2 HP.
Magnezone: Flinches.

Nox: Earthquake! Costs 7 energy. Deals 24.88 damage to Magnezone, 11.5 damage to Scizor. Destroys Scizor's clones.
Jecth: Chills. Restores 12 energy.
Scizor: Bullet Punch on Jetch. Destroys a DT clone. Costs 2 energy. -2 HP.
Magnezone: Charge Beam on Kitsunoh. Deals 15* damage. Costs 5 energy. +1 SpA.

Nox: Magic Coat. Costs 10 energy.
Jecth: Brick Break on Magnezone. Deals 13.75 damage. Costs 6 energy.
Scizor: Acrobatics on Jetch. Deals 21 damage. Destroys clones. Costs 7 energy. -2 HP.
Magnezone: Thunderbolt on Kitsunoh. Deals 21 damage. Costs 6 energy.

*slightly more damage since Nox is drenched in water

Scizor: 2nd degree burn, +1 Attack
Magnezone: +1 SpA

By this time, all four Pokemon are pretty much dry. Scizor and Magnezone are at the center of the arena, a bit to the east. Jetch and Nox are at the upper-left corner, about 30 feet away from Scizor and Magnezone. TravelLog will go first.

You forgot the damage done to Magnezone by Magic Coat (which has negative priority incidentally). Also, Scizor's clones are all gone because of Earthquake.
________________

Nox, open by Yawning at Scizor. Follow that up with an Earthquake, followed by Dig on Magnezone. If Magnezone uses Thunderbolt on an action, use Magic Coat once and shift the remaining actions over once.

Jecht, it doesn't look like you are going to be around much longer unfortunately, so let's make the most of your current strength. Use Brick Break on Magnezone. Then if you are still alive, use Vacuum Wave on Scizor twice.

Nox:
Yawn (Scizor)~Earthquake~Dig (Magnezone)
IF Magnezone uses Thunderbolt, use Magic Coat once and move remaining actions right.

Jecht:
Brick Break (Magnezone)~Vacuum Wave x2 (Scizor)

Scizor: 2nd degree burn, +1 Attack
Magnezone: +1 SpA

Another exciting round commences! Nox decides to put Scizor out of commission once and for all- he Yawns so loudly that it can be heard all across the arena, and Scizor receives the full blast. He tries to dodge it by using evasive Agility, but Yawn is a sound-based move, and those moves are very hard to dodge unless the victim is far away from the attacker. Already he can feel his muscles aching and his eyes are starting to get sleepy, but if Scizor falls asleep now, it would be disastrous for his team. Jetch meanwhile has his own problem. The previous barrage of attacks have left him in a very bad condition. His wings buzz pitifully and his scythes look dull. Nevertheless, Jetch is a determination. He somehow musters enough strength to run across the field right into Magnezone, delivering a Brick Break onto its face. Magnezone, however, is a very patient Pokemon. It takes on the Brick Break and quietly uses electromagnets to rise up high in the sky.

Scizor winces as time passes by. A burn and drowsiness? He needs to do something before Yawn overtakes him. Scizor spots a near-fainted Jetch and seizes his chance. A priority attack will do the trick, he thinks to himself. Not so fast! Jetch delivers his own priority Vacuum Wave by quickly whirling one of his scythes around and slamming into Scizor. The attack didn't do much, but I'm still impressed that Jetch was able to pull it off given his current situation. Alas, Scizor really couldn't care less, and delivers a cold-hard Bullet Punch right at Jetch's face, knocking him out for good. Oh? It appears that Nox set up another Magic Coat to prevent any funny shenanigans from occuring, but the move was in vain, for Magnezone shocks Nox silly with a Thunderbolt. Furious, Nox attempts to strike Magnezone from underground- unfortunately, he did not realize that Magnezone is hovering in the air! Poor Nox was easy prey for Scizor's Pursuit and Magnezone's second Thunderbolt, and his energy level is dangerously low. At this point, Scizor is very tired and falls asleep for 3 actions.

Nox: Yawn on Scizor. Costs 7 energy.
Jecth: Brick Break on Magnezone. Deals 13.75 damage. Costs 6 energy.
Scizor: Attempts to evade via Agility, but sound-moves are very hard to dodge, so Scizor fails. Costs 7 energy. -2 HP.
Magnezone: Magnet Rise. Costs 5 energy.

Nox: Magic Coat. Costs 10 energy.
Jetch: Vacuum Wave on Scizor. Deals 1.5 damage. Costs 3 energy.
Scizor: Bullet Punch on Jetch. Deals 9.5 damage. KO! Costs 2 energy.
Magnezone: Thunderbolt on Nox. Deals 18.5 damage. Costs 6 energy.

Nox: Attempts to use Dig on Magnezone. Fails due to Magnet Rise. Costs 6 energy.
Scizor: Pursuit on Nox. Deals 6.5 damage. Costs 4 energy. Sleeps (3 actions)
Magnezone: Thunderbolt on Nox. Deals 18.5 damage. Costs 8 energy.

TravelLog will send out new mon. ElDino will issue actions, followed by TravelLog.

Quick Note, also according to my substitution ("And move remaining actions right"), I realize Kitsunoh should have used Earthquake rather than Dig for A3.
