[OVERVIEW]
Once Treecko drinks its Berry Juice, Unburden allows it to outpace every viable Choice Scarf Pokemon bar Gastly. Swords Dance and a decent Attack allow Treecko to hit relatively hard after a boost; this power is backed up by its great coverage versus the metagame. However, using Treecko is feast or famine. It cannot switch into any attack and only has a single chance to sweep. Being somewhat frail, Treecko struggles to set up and is threatened by priority users. Treecko also cannot wear down its own counters, due to it being pitifully weak before setting up.

[SET]
name: Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Bullet Seed / Seed Bomb
move 3: Acrobatics
move 4: Drain Punch
item: Berry Juice
ability: Unburden
nature: Jolly / Adamant
evs: 116 HP / 236 Atk / 156 Def

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Swords Dance, alongside Unburden, turns Treecko into a rather brilliant sweeper. The preferred STAB option is Bullet Seed, as it allows Treecko to bypass Substitutes, lets it set up on and KO Focus Sash Abra, and has the ability to hit extremely hard at five hits. However, Seed Bomb is a more consistent option, securing important KOs on the likes of Chinchou and Archen, which two hits from Bullet Seed cannot. Acrobatics provides a second powerful attack that adds great coverage on Grass-, Bug-, and Fighting-types while also making use of Unburden activating. Lastly, Drain Punch provides Treecko with some key recovery while also preventing Steel-types from walling this set.

Set Details
========
The EVs maximize Treecko's Attack, allowing it to hit 28 Attack with a Jolly nature, and 30 Attack with an Adamant nature, after a single Swords Dance. The rest of the EVs go into Treecko's bulk, allowing it to hit 22 HP, 12 Defense, and 12 Special Defense, important benchmarks to avoid being OHKOed by most neutral attacks. This bulk works well in tandem with Berry Juice, allowing Treecko to recover back to good health and simultaneously double its Speed thanks to Unburden. The choice between a Jolly and an Adamant nature comes down to outspeeding 18 Speed Choice Scarf Pokemon after Unburden or OHKOing the likes of Timburr and Foongus without Stealth Rock is more important to your team.

Usage Tips
========

In order to preserve Berry Juice, Treecko should never switch directly into an attack, as the item typically needs to be consumed the turn Treecko uses Swords Dance. Treecko also fails to force out most attackers and is too weak unboosted, so it cannot wear down its counters either. Because of this, saving Treecko until the late-game is the best choice. Before Treecko sets up, try to have most priority users removed, especially Fletchling and Shellder. When you do set up Treecko, be sure to do it versus Pokemon that cannot OHKO or status it, such as Abra, Mienfoo, Drilbur, and Gothita. If Treecko is running an Adamant nature, make sure to scout for Choice Scarf on Gastly and on other 18 Speed Pokemon by checking damage rolls versus them.

Team Options
========

Treecko enjoys the support of wallbreakers such as Pawniard and Skrelp, as they pair nicely with Treecko due to their ability to substantially weaken the opposing team. Entry hazard users such as Omanyte, Tirtouga, Archen, Pawniard, Onix, and Dwebble further help wear down the opposing team and aid Treecko's sweep. Fletchling counters such as Archen, Magnemite, and Tirtouga help wear down Fletchling, giving Treecko a chance to sweep before being immediately revenge killed. Ponyta and Larvesta help to weaken Pawniard with burns, allowing Treecko to survive its Sucker Punches from a lower HP. Chinchou counters Larvesta and Ponyta, while Diglett removes both, enabling Treecko to avoid being burnt by Flame Body or risking not KOing them. Diglett also has access to Stealth Rock and Memento, giving Treecko far more setup opportunities. Gothita can trap and remove or cripple a large number of Treecko's checks, such as Spritzee, Ferroseed, and Porygon. Snivy and Treecko have excellent synergy that allows Snivy to wallbreak for Treecko and allows a failed Treecko sweep to turn into a Snivy sweep. Dragon Dance Barboach can be quite an interesting partner for Treecko due to its ability to remove most Poison-types and lure in a fair number of revenge killers that Treecko sets up on. On a more defensive note, Timburr and RestTalk Skrelp pair well with Treecko, as they wear down its counters and absorb status readily. Both Cottonee and Stunky pair interestingly with Treecko due to their access to Memento and their respective priority moves.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Endure allows Treecko to survive any hit and greatly helps versus faster Pokemon, as it allows Treecko to reliably activate Unburden; however, without Swords Dance, Treecko suffers from being extremely weak, and without all of its coverage moves, too many Pokemon wall Treecko for it to reliably sweep. Substitute can be run to guard against status and to protect Treecko until Berry Juice is consumed, though it has the same issues as Endure. Rock Slide is an option over either Drain Punch or Acrobatics; however, it is almost always inferior to both, as Archen and Fletchling both survive an unboosted Rock Slide, with Fletchling being able to simply revenge kill Treecko before it could boost and follow up with an attack. Rock Slide, however, does allow Treecko to beat Larvesta without risking a burn. Focus Sash is an inferior option to Berry Juice because it requires you to constantly have entry hazards cleared for Treecko and to rely on the Focus Sash to break in order for Unburden to activate. Leaf Storm and Hidden Power Fire are somewhat viable options to consider on Treecko, though they are rather weak and are often inferior to Drain Punch and Bullet Seed.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Flying-types**: Due to Flying-types both hitting hard and having adequate bulk to survive most of Treecko's attacks, they typically make for rather good checks and counters to Treecko. Vullaby and Archen both take very little from anything Treecko can do and can retaliate back with STAB Brave Bird and Acrobatics, respectively. Fletchling, while it cannot switch in safely, can cleanly revenge kill Treecko with Gale Wings Acrobatics.

**Poison-types**: Poison-types resist Grass and tend to be bulky enough to easily survive anything Treecko can use, even after Knock Off. Koffing can burn Treecko or hit it with Sludge Bomb before Treecko can even dent it, as can Skrelp, though Skrelp takes notably more damage from Treecko. Stunky has STAB Sucker Punch and Aftermath along with rather decent bulk, allowing it to cleanly KO Treecko or, if it gets KOed instead, inflict chip damage on it. Trubbish has a powerful Gunk Shot and reliable recovery, enabling it to repeatedly counter Treecko.

**Status**: Ponyta can switch into any of Treecko's attacks, threatening with burns through Flame Body and KOing with Flare Blitz. Thunder Wave users such as Ferroseed and Porygon and Will-O-Wisp users such as Pumpkaboo greatly limit Treecko's effectiveness, essentially turning most Pokemon into a counter.

**Honedge**: Honedge resists or is immune to all of Treecko's attacks by virtue of its unique typing, letting it set up on and KO Treecko.

**Faster Pokemon**: If Unburden has not been activated, Gastly, Doduo, Larvesta, Mienfoo, and a variety of Choice Scarf users can all switch in and either force Treecko out or KO it immediately.

**Priority**: Multiple priority attacks can KO Treecko, making Pawniard, Croagunk, Fletchling, Shellder, Houndour, and the like checks to a weakened Treecko.

I've been looking at Special Sets to add since LC walls tend to be equally invested in SpD or more into Def and Treecko has a higher natural SpA, but they all feel worse in comparison. Just have mixed to try out before I want to go through QC.

Edit: Mixed Treecko seems to be inferior to Snivy in almost every way terms of viability. Too weak / can't support.

What about endure + 3 attacks?
Kinda a double edged sword.
Treecko needs the Swords Dance boost in order to deal a significant amount of damage; it isn't similar to Drifloon which has access to many utility moves, STAB Acrobatics (Treecko's acrobatics is subpar) and even Knock Off to wallbreak. So, as Treecko can't wallbreak seriously without getting the Attack boost, I don't think Endure would be nor a suitable keystone move for a set, nor a slash for Swords Dance. I feel also that Endure is way too situational, as it helps only against offensive teams and doesn't give Treecko the possibility to deal with bulkier ones, whilst SD does. Of course, next checkers might not agree with me.

OVERVIEW:

I know it's kinda obvious, but mention Unburden along with Berry Juice.
Say that Treecko can't deal a significant amount of damage without the boost (that's why Treecko is bad).

Set Details:
Talk about Unburden+bj here as well.

Team Options:
Mention Gothita for Ferroseed, Porygon, Spritzee, and other bulky Pokemon.
Mention Memento support.
Mention status absorbers such as Timburr able to switch into twave, wow, etc.
Diglett for stunky as well (as you are gonna say it's a counter).

Other Options:
Endure (be sure to mention it before anything else in OO as it helps against faster mons) and Substitute to active bj.
Mention special moves it has access to such as Leaf storm and hp for coverage

Checks and counters:
Honedge is probably the best counter. Mention t-wave and wow users especially if faster. Mention priority moves users. Mention the difficulty to deal with bulky mons especially when unboosted.
Finally, when you talk about checks and counters, don't always think about berry juice being used; so, mention faster mons able to ko treecko such as Gastly, scarfed mons, bellsprout w/ sun etc; although they can't always switch into Treecko's attacks, they're still very threatening being able to revenge-kill it. Treecko has way less checks and cons than Snivy in your analysis, so it might seem to be a better Pokemon in some situations, which isn't true.

This is QC 2/4, good job with this analysis n_n

I'll do a complete third check later but show some calcs to display what that bulk does in the set. The overview goes too into the set, as technically it can outspeed every scarfer easily with max speed. Scarf 18 speeds aren't really a thing, I personally haven't seen a doduo in forever (why would you run scarf?) so just mention gastly. Mention in usage what it can set up on, grass typing is good for setting up on stuff like diglett and chinchou. In the overview as with this say that it has very poor bulk and relies on resistances to take hits, also mentioning how BJ needs to be conserved to let it do work.

The EVs maximise spread maximizes Treecko's Attack, allowing it to hit have 28 attack Attack with a Jolly nature,(RC) and 30 Attack with a Adamant nature, after a single Swords Dance. (What does said number achieve? Numbers can't be everything. Tell me what 28 Attack is able to OHKO, 2HKO. Tell me what 30 Attack is able to OHKO, 2HKO. Add more information) The rest of the EVs go into Treecko's defenses allowing it to hit have 22 HP, 12 Defense, and 12 Special Defense, important benchmarks for avoiding to avoid being OHKOed by most neutral attacks (such as? and from which mon?). This bulk works well in tandem with allows for Berry Juice to recover Treecko back to a healthy amount which simultaneously doubles Treecko's Speed speed thanks to Unburden. The choice between Jolly and Adamant nature comes down to whether or not outspeeding base 18 Speed Choice Scarfed Pokemon 18 speed pokemon after Unburden or OHKOing the likes of Timburr and Foongus without Stealth Rock is more important to your team.

Usage Tips
========

Treecko should never switch directly into an attack in order to preserve Berry Juice,(AC) as Berry Juice it needs to be consumed the turn Treecko it Swords Dances. Treecko also fails to force out most attackers and is too weak unboosted, thus it cannot break the Pokemon it its own counters either. (not sure wut u meant here) Because of this, saving Treecko until the late-game(add hyphen) is the best choice. Before Treecko sets up, try to have most priority users removed, especially Fletchling and Shellder. When you Treecko does set up Treecko, be sure to do it versus pokemon against Pokemon that cannot OHKO or spread status to you, such as Abra, Mienfoo, Drilbur, and Gothita (which of these Pokemon spread status? If none, please add examples of Pokemon that spread status). If Treecko is running an Adamant nature, make sure to scout for Choice Scarfed scarves on Gastly and other base 18 Speed Pokemon speed pokemon by checking damage rolls against versus them.

Team Options
========

Treecko enjoys the wallbreakers such as akin to (not akin to because akin = similar. The Pokemon u listed are legitimate wallbreakers that could be used. Same down below) Pawniard and Skrelp,(AC) as they pair nicely with Treecko due to their ability to substantially weaken the opposing team. Hazard users such as akin to Omanyte, Tirtouga, Archen, Pawniard, Onix, and Dwebble further help further wear down the opposing team and aid Treecko's sweep. Fletchling counters such as like Archen, Magnemite, and Tirtouga help wear down Fletchling (in my knowledge of the LC metagame. These Pokemon straight out KO Fletchling. Fletchling gets walled HARD by these mons. Ask the QC team maybe?), giving Treecko a chance to sweep before being immediately revenged killed. Ponyta and Larvesta help to weaken Pawniard with burns, allowing Treecko to survive its Sucker Punches from a lower HP. Chinchou counters Larvesta and Ponyta while Diglett removes both either, enabling Treecko to avoid being burnt by Flame Body or risk not KOing. Diglett also has access to Stealth Rock and Memento, giving Treecko far more set up opportunities. Gothita can trap and remove or maine a large amount of Treecko's checks, such as Spritzee, Ferroseed, and Porygon. Snivy and Treecko have excellent synergy that allows for a Snivy to wallbreak for Treecko and for a failed Treecko sweep to turn into a Snivy sweep. Dragon Dance Barboach creates can be a quite an interesting partner for Treecko due to its ability to remove removing most Poison-types and luring in a fair number of revenge killers which Treecko sets up on. On a more defensive note, Timburr and RestTalk Skrelp pair well with Treecko,(AC) as they wear down its counters and absorb status readily. Both Cottonee and Stunky pair interestingly with Treecko due to access to Memento and their respective priorityies moves.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Endure allows for Treecko to live any hit and greatly helps versus faster pokemon Pokemon,(AC) as it allows for Treecko to reliably double its Speed speed, though without Swords Dance Treecko suffers from being extremely weak and without all of its coverage moves, too much many Pokemon walls Treecko for it to reliably sweep. Substitute can be run to guard against status and to protect Treecko until Berry Juice is consumed, though it has the same issues as Endure. Rock Slide is an option over either Drain Punch or Acrobatics, however it is almost always inferior to both,(AC) as Archen and Fletchling both live unboosted Rock Slide with Fletchling being able to simply revenge kill Treecko before it could boost and follow up with an attack. Rock Slide,(AC) however,(AC) does allow Treecko to beat Larvesta without risking a burn. Focus Sash is an inferior option to Berry Juice due to having to constantly have hazards cleared for Treecko and relying on the Sash to break in order for Unburden to activate. Leaf Storm and Hidden Power Fire are somewhat viable options to consider on Treecko, though they are rather weak and are often inferior to Drain Punch and Bullet Seed.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Flying-Types (add hyphen)**: Due to the nature of flying Flying-(add hyphen)types both hitting both hard and having adequate adaquet bulk to live most of Treecko's attacks, they typically make rather good checks and counters to Treecko. Vullaby and Archen both take very little from anything Treecko can do and retaliate back with STAB Brave Bird and Acrobatics respectively. Fletchling, while it cannot switch in safely, has Gale Wing's Acrobatics which allows for a clean revenge kill on Treecko.

**Poison-(addhyphen)Types**: Poison-(addhyphen)types also resist Grass-(addhyphen)type moves and tend to be bulky enough to easily live anything Treecko can use,(AC) even after Knock Off;(RSC) .(AP) Koffing can burn or Sludge Bomb Treecko before Treecko can even dent it as can Skrelp, though Skrelp takes notably more damage from Treecko (why?). Stunky has STAB Sucker Punch and Aftermath with rather decent bulk, allowing for a clean KO on Treecko as well as chip damage when Stunky gets KOed somewhat low. Trubbish has a powerful Gunk Shot and reliable recovery, enabling it to repeatedly counter Treecko.

**Status**: Ponyta switches into any of Treecko's attacks, threatening with burns through Flama Flame Body and killing with Flare Blitz.(this is status only, not Ponyta) Thunder Wave users such as Ferroseed and Porygon and Will-O-Wisp such as Pumpkaboo greatly limit Treecko's effectiveness, this essentially turns most Pokemon into a counter.

**Honedge**: Honedge has a unique typing which resists or is immune to all of Treecko's attacks, letting it set up on and KO kill Treecko.

**Faster Pokemon**: If Unburden has not been activated, Gastly, Doduo, Larvesta, Mienfoo, and a variety of Choice Scarf users scarf pokemon all can all switch in and either force Treecko out, or kill KO it immediately.

**Priority**: Multiple attacks of Priority attacks can KO will down Treecko, making Pawniard, Croagunk, Taillow, Shellder, Houndour, Bunnelby, Meowth, and the like checks to a weakened Treecko. (tbh I would give a special mention to Fletchling. Even though you already made a point about Gale Wings Fletchling earlier, Fletchling is just such a huge check to Treecko. Also, this is the priority section soo...)

Once Treecko loses or uses its item (Not every Treeko will be using Berry Juice, even though it is the recommended set. Thus, it shouldn't be in the Overview, GP pls correct me on this) drinks its Berry Juice, (it should be fine afaik if it's the only viable set? Just like I don't see anything wrong with "Chansey doesn't want to switch into Weavile out of fear of losing its Eviolite" either) Unburden will allows Treecko ("allows it") to outpace every viable Choice Scarf user pokemon, (capitalized "Pokemon" is fine) bar Gastly. Swords Dance,(AC) and a decent Attack,(AC) allows (don't implement the commas and the singular verb) Treecko to hit relatively hard after a boost; this power is backed up by its great coverage moves (hrmm "great coverage" is probably better because you're talking about its ability to deal damage, not so much the specific moves) versus the metagame. However, using Treecko is feast or famine. It cannot switch into any attack whatsoever and only has a single chance to sweep. Being somewhat frail, Treecko struggles to set up and is threatened by priority users such as Fletchling (Add more examples if needed. Also, if Fletchling is incorrect please change) (no just remove Fletchling, no need to be this specific here) makes priority threatening. Treecko cannot even break the Pokemon it counters its own counters (don't change content in a GP check, if you think the text doesn't make sense go ahead and point that out but only do so in comments; in this case "wear down its own counters" might be more accurate yeah) due to it (unnecessary)being pitifully weak before setting up.

Moves
========

Swords Dance, alongside Unburden, turns Treecko into a rather brilliant sweeper. The preferred STAB move option (both are equally fine, no need to make this change) is Bullet Seed,(AC) as this it allows Treecko to bypass Substitutes, allows it to (parallelism error) set up on and kill KO Abra, and has the ability to hit extremely hard at 5 five hits. However,(AC) Seed Bomb is a more consistent option,(RC) (keep the comma) securing important KOes KOs on the likes of Chinchou and Archen that a 2 hits from (again, the original is fine, and it is probably preferred slightly, although "that" should be ", which" and the 2 should be written out; additionally, if you make this change, add a hyphen after 2 because you're making "two-hit" into a compound adjective here) Bullet Seed cannot. Acrobatics provides a second powerful attack that adds great coverage on Grass-, Bug-, and Fighting-types while also making use of Unburden activating. Lastly, Drain Punch provides Treecko with some key recovery while additionally also preventing Steel-types from walling this set.

Set Details
========

The EVs maximise spread maximizes (original is fine if you change "maximise" to "maximize" cuz murican spellings) Treecko's Attack, allowing it to hit have ("hit" is fine) 28 attack Attack with a Jolly nature,(RC) (if you're removing the comma, remove the second one too, but the original is fine because this is a parenthesis of sorts) and 30 Attack with an Adamant nature, after a single Swords Dance. (What does said number achieve? Numbers can't be everything. Tell me what 28 Attack is able to OHKO, 2HKO. Tell me what 30 Attack is able to OHKO, 2HKO. Add more information) (numbers can be everything if they're simply "maximum", not to mention absolute stats are much more important in LC than other tiers (i think????), and examples are covered below) The rest of the EVs go into Treecko's defenses, (AC) allowing it to hit have (again, "hit" is fine)22 HP, 12 Defense, and 12 Special Defense, important benchmarks for avoiding to avoid being OHKOed by most neutral attacks (such as? and from which mon?). This bulk works well in tandem with allows for Berry Juice, (AC)allowing Treecko to recover back to good health to recover Treecko back to a healthy amount which and simultaneously doubles Treecko's double its Speed speed thanks to Unburden. The choice between a Jolly and an Adamant nature comes down to whether or not outspeeding base (they're absolute stats) 18 Speed Choice Scarfed Scarf Pokemon 18 speed pokemon after Unburden or OHKOing the likes of Timburr and Foongus without Stealth Rock is more important to your team.

Usage Tips
========

Treecko should never switch directly into an attack in order to preserve Berry Juice,(AC) as Berry Juice it needs to be consumed the turn Treecko it uses Swords Dances Dance. Treecko also fails to force out most attackers and is too weak unboosted, thus so it cannot break the Pokemon it its own counters either. (not sure wut u meant here) (then don't change content.... if anything, ask him clarify or suggest something that you think might be correct, but don't actually make the change in the text cause that implies GP members have the authority to change content) Because of this, saving Treecko until the late-game(add hyphen) is the best choice. Before Treecko sets up, try to have most priority users removed, especially Fletchling and Shellder. When you Treecko does set up Treecko, (original is correct, and this makes the subject inconsistent with what follows) be sure to do it versus pokemon against ("versus" is correct, so just leave it) Pokemon that cannot OHKO or spread status to you, ("you" should be "it," but "status" can be a verb just fine, no need to change things like this) such as Abra, Mienfoo, Drilbur, and Gothita (which of these Pokemon spread status? If none, please add examples of Pokemon that spread status). If Treecko is running an Adamant nature, make sure to scout for Choice Scarfed scarves on (change "scarves" to "Choice Scarfs" and then it's fine. "Choice Scarfed" isn't acceptable either.) Gastly and other base (18 is an absolute stat, not a base stat) 18 Speed Pokemon speed pokemon by checking damage rolls against versus (again, "versus" is just fine)them.

Team Options
========

Treecko enjoys the wallbreakers such as akin to (not akin to because akin = similar. The Pokemon u listed are legitimate wallbreakers that could be used. Same down below) (yeah pretty much, "akin" means "similar but not the same" so it isn't appropriate here, it's pretty awkward to use in this context to begin with anyways. "Like" should be fine too. Please at least spell out "you" in GP checks though) Pawniard and Skrelp,(AC) as they pair nicely with Treecko due to their ability to substantially weaken the opposing team. Entry hazard users such as akin to Omanyte, Tirtouga, Archen, Pawniard, Onix, and Dwebble further help further (original is fine, this is arguably worse; if you do want to move "further" somewhere else, put it after "team") wear down the opposing team and aid Treecko's sweep. Fletchling counters such as like Archen, Magnemite, and Tirtouga help wear down Fletchling (in my knowledge of the LC metagame. These Pokemon straight out KO Fletchling. Fletchling gets walled HARD by these mons. Ask the QC team maybe?), (battle situations are more complex than "Magnemite switches into Fletchling"->"Magnemite blows Fletchling out of the sky," so the semantics don't have to be this specific, either should work) giving Treecko a chance to sweep before being immediately revenged killed. Ponyta and Larvesta help to weaken Pawniard with burns, allowing Treecko to survive its Sucker Punches from a lower ("lower" is better because there's a comparison here) HP. Chinchou counters Larvesta and Ponyta while Diglett removes both either, enabling Treecko to avoid being burnt by Flame Body or risk not KOing. Diglett also has access to Stealth Rock and Memento, giving Treecko far more set up setup opportunities. Gothita can trap and remove or maine (you probably mean "maim" here or something, but "cripple" is probably better) a large amount number of Treecko's checks, such as Spritzee, Ferroseed, and Porygon. Snivy and Treecko have excellent synergy that allows for a Snivy to wallbreak for Treecko and for a failed Treecko sweep to turn into a Snivy sweep. Dragon Dance Barboach creates can be a quite an interesting partner for Treecko due to its ability to remove removing most Poison-types and luring lure in a fair number of revenge killers which that Treecko sets up on.

=============

Endure allows for Treecko to live survive any hit and greatly helps versus faster pokemon Pokemon,(AC) as it allows for Treecko to reliably double its Speed speed activate Unburden; (less ambiguous; also SC) though however, (AC) without Swords Dance, (AC) Treecko suffers from being extremely weak, (AC) and without all of its coverage moves, too much many Pokemon walls Treecko for it to reliably sweep. Substitute can be run to guard against status and to protect Treecko until Berry Juice is consumed, though it has the same issues as Endure. Rock Slide is an option over either Drain Punch or Acrobatics; (SC) however, (AC) it is almost always inferior to both,(AC) as Archen and Fletchling both live survive an unboosted Rock Slide, (AC) with Fletchling being able to simply revenge kill Treecko before it could boost and follow up with an attack. Rock Slide,(AC) however,(AC) does allow Treecko to beat Larvesta without risking a burn. Focus Sash is an inferior option to Berry Juice due to having because it requires you to constantly have entry hazards cleared for Treecko and relying to rely on the Focus Sash to break in order for Unburden to activate. Leaf Storm and Hidden Power Fire are somewhat viable options to consider on Treecko, though they are rather weak and are (optional) often inferior to Drain Punch and Bullet Seed.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Flying-Types(keep it lowercase) (add hyphen)**: Due to the nature of flying Flying-(add hyphen)types both (good) hitting both hard and having adequate adaquet bulk to live most of Treecko's attacks, they typically make rather good checks and counters to Treecko. Vullaby and Archen both take very little from anything Treecko can do and retaliate back with STAB Brave Bird and Acrobatics respectively. Fletchling, while it cannot switch in safely, has Gale Wing's Acrobatics which allows for a clean can cleanly revenge kill on Treecko with Gale Wings Acrobatics.

**Poison-(addhyphen)Types**: (same here) Poison-(addhyphen)types also resist Grass-(addhyphen)type moves (unnecessary) and tend to be bulky enough to easily live survive anything Treecko can use,(AC) even after Knock Off;(RSC) .(AP) Koffing can burn or Sludge Bomb Treecko or hit it with Sludge Bomb before Treecko can even dent it, (AC) as can Skrelp, though Skrelp takes notably more damage from Treecko. Stunky has STAB Sucker Punch and Aftermath with rather decent bulk, allowing for a clean it to cleanly KO on Treecko as well as inflict chip damage when Stunky gets KOed Treecko KOes it somewhat low. Trubbish has a powerful Gunk Shot and reliable recovery, enabling it to repeatedly counter Treecko.

**Status**: Ponyta switches into any of Treecko's attacks, threatening with burns through Flama Flame Body and killing with Flare Blitz.(this is status only, not Ponyta) (keep it, why axe it if it's something that makes a specific status user all the more threatening?) Thunder Wave users such as Ferroseed and Porygon and Will-O-Wisp such as Pumpkaboo greatly limit Treecko's effectiveness, this essentially turns turning most Pokemon into a counter.

**Honedge**: Honedge has a unique typing which resists or is immune to all of Treecko's attacks by virtue of its unique typing, letting it set up on and KO kill Treecko.

**Faster Pokemon**: If Unburden has not been activated, Gastly, Doduo, Larvesta, Mienfoo, and a variety of Choice Scarf users scarf pokemon all can all switch in and either force Treecko out (RC) or kill KO it immediately.

[OVERVIEW]

Once Treecko drinks its Berry Juice, Unburden allows Treecko it to outpace every viable Choice Scarf Pokemon (RC) bar Gastly. Swords Dance and a decent Attack allow Treecko to hit relatively hard after a boost; this power is backed up by its great coverage versus the metagame. However, using Treecko is feast or famine. It cannot switch into any attack whatsoever and only has a single chance to sweep. Being somewhat frail, Treecko struggles to set up and is threatened by priority users makes priority threatening. Treecko cannot even break its own counters (possibly clarify because no Pokemon can break its own counters, that's why they're counters... "wear down," maybe?) due to being pitifully weak before setting up.

**Flying-types(remove space)**: Due to Flying-types both hitting hard and having adequate bulk to live survive most of Treecko's attacks, they typically make for rather good checks and counters to Treecko. Vullaby and Archen both take very little from anything Treecko can do and can retaliate back with STAB Brave Bird and Acrobatics, (AC) respectively.

Stunky has STAB Sucker Punch and Aftermath along with rather decent bulk, allowing it to cleanly KO on Treecko or, if it gets KOed instead, as well as inflict chip damage on it when Treecko KOes it. Trubbish has a powerful Gunk Shot and reliable recovery, enabling it to repeatedly counter Treecko.

**Status**: Ponyta can switch switches into any of Treecko's attacks, threatening with burns through Flame Body and KOing killing with Flare Blitz.
