Type: Normal/Flying
Normal: Normal STAB; adapt comfortably to any surrounding after 3 actions. Able to use Outrage without losing focus.

Flying: Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Enhanced aerial mobility. Superior senses in open air arenas.

Abilities:
Keen Eye (Type: Innate)
This Pokemon has extremely good vision and cannot have its accuracy lowered by an opponent through any means (including accuracy lowering attacks, Smogs, Hazes, Fog, etc.). Its attacks are still affected by an opponent’s evasion and the Pokemon's own accuracy.

Inner Focus (Type: Innate)
When an opponent attempts to flinch this Pokemon, it stands firm and continues its attack. If it has another ability that would be activated by flinching, that ability activates.

Defiant (Type: Innate) [DW, Locked]
The Pokemon has a deep sense of honor, and whenever one of its stats are decreased by an opponent's Attack or Ability, its Attack increases by two (2) stages. Attack Boosts gained this way are not subject to deterioration that round.

Ullar, send out your first Pokemon, and equip items if need be, then Wolfe chooses actions, then Ullar chooses actions, then I ref, then we'll go from there

Azazel, you're up! Show our opponents what you're made of!

Azazel - Larvitar (M)

Earthquake ~ Stealth Rock ~ Earthquake
Sub: If foe uses Smokescreen, use Sandstorm just once to make things harder for the opposition and clear out the smoke if possible. Push actions back.

The challengers both watch each other from across the arena, which has to be rebuilt twice a day due to the many attacks fired. As the sound of the whistle, UllarWarlord sends out his Charmander, Mimring, and TheWolfe sends out his Larvitar, Azazel.

The ref gives the second signal telling the Pokemon to begin fighting, and Mimring begins to hone its claw skills to hit Azazel hard. Azazel decides to toy with the Charmander and fires off a 4.5 magnitude Earthquake.

Mimring's claws begin to glimmer like a metallic substance, and it leaves large claw marks on Azazel's face. Azazel stealthily throws down some rocks, causing damage whenever Ullar switches Pokemon.

Mimring rushes in to use Brick Break on Azazel, who decides to fire off another Earthquake.

Under 625 is a Crit. Under 100 * Accuracy is a hit. Under Effect Chance * 100, the effect happens
384 (Earthquake Crit, yes)
3132 (Metal Claw Crit, no)
4755 (Metal Claw +Atk, no)
9069 (Brick Break Crit, no)
1510 (Earthquake Crit, no)

Earthquake: (10 + 3 + 1.5) * 1.5 = 21.75 DMG (26.25 DMG Crit)
Metal Claw: (5) * 1.5 + 1.75 = 9.25 DMG
Brick Break: (8) * 1.5 + 1.75 = 13.75 DMG

Post Round:

Mimring
HP: 42

Status: +1 Atk, +1 Acc, Stealth Rock

Azazel

Status: None
Ullar, choose your next actions

The round begins with Ullar switching out his hurting Charmander for his new Voodoll, Iskra. The second Iskra hits the battlefield, the Stealth Rocks that Azazel set down rushed in to attack the doll.

Iskra then decides to make another doll to substitute itself. Azazel fires off another Earthquake, which only damaged the substitute, leaving it holding on by a thread.

Iskra then decides to lower the defense of its rocky opponent with a harsh screech.
Azazel fires off a Cement Break (Brick Break + Brick Break), which does nothing more than break the substitute.

Iskra decides to start playing offense and fires off a Normal Psycho Cut, due to its ability being Normalize. Azazel simply cools off from its combo.
4078 (Earthquake Crit, no)
6641 (Cement Break Crit, no)
8706 (<1250, Psycho Cut Crit, no)

Earthquake: (10 + 3 + 1.5) = 14.5 DMG
Cement Break:
BAP: 8 * 2.25 = 18 BAP
Damage: (18 + 1.5) * 2.25 = 43.875 DMG
Energy: (6 + (6 + 4)) * 2 = 32 EN
Normal Psycho Cut:
(7 + 4(Normalize) + 3 - 1.5) * 2/3 + 3.75 = 12.08 DMG

Post Round:

Iskra
HP: 31
EN: 78
Status: Normalize Active

Azazel
HP: 55
EN: 53
Status: -1 Def (degraded)

Wolfe, choose your actions
PS: Ullar, while Normalize is active, ALL attacks are Normal for you

Two issues:

1) All damage calculations are supposed to be rounded up, so 14.5 damage is supposed to be 15 damage.
2) The two Brick Breaks are individual attacks since I ordered it twice, not a combination attack.

Screech ~ Brick Break ~ Earthquake
Sub: If foe tries to use Substitute on A1, use Earthquake instead.

1) EDIT: I was told on IRC that you are right about the rounding, redoing that.
2) Would it have been that hard to write Earthquake ~ Brick Break ~ Brick Break? Or at the very least state it wasn't a combination attack for clarity?

I'm kinda on Wolfe's side, combo-wise. No offense to you, though.

Disable Normalize (if possible)

Psycho Cut -> 15 HP Sub -> Spite Brick Break

If Brick Break cannot be Spited for some reason, use Psycho Cut instead.

Iskra wanted to disable its Normalize, but it couldn't due to Azazel not knowing what it would do, so then fires off another Normal Psycho Cut. Azazel must've been listening to some Metallica, so it fires off a loud Screech.

Iskra then sets up another substitute which is then broken by a Brick Break from Azazel.

Iskra then decides to spite the Rock Head Pokemon for breaking its doll. Azazel, seemingly indifferent to the spite, fires off an earthquake.

1528 (Screech Hit, yes)
4004 (Psycho Cut Crit, no)
2385 (Brick Break Crit, no)
2449 (Earthquake Crit, no)

Psycho Cut: (7 + 3 + 4) * 2/3 = 9.33 DMG
Brick Break: (8 + 1.5) * 2.25 + 3.5 = 24.875 DMG
Earthquake: (10 + 3 + 1.5) = 14.5 DMG

Post Round:

Iskra
HP: 1
EN: 58
Status: Normalize Active, -1 Def

Azazel
HP: 37
EN: 35
Status: None

TROLOLOLOLOLOL 1 HP

Disable Normalize

Pain Split -> Screech -> Psycho Cut

If he uses Brick Break on A2, use 15 HP Substitute.

Iskra, hanging on by a thread (yes, that was a doll joke), decides to split its pain with Azazel. Azazel, now quite beaten up, finishes off the doll with one last Brick Break.

Now that he's down to his last Pokemon, Ullar sends back out his Charmander, Mimring, who now gets nailed by the Stealth Rocks still on the field.
I didn't do any because they wouldn't have mattered

Pain Split:
Damage: (37 + 1) / 2 = 19 HP
Energy: (37 - 1) / 3 = 12 EN
Brick Break: (8 + 1.5) * 2.25 + 1.75 = 23.125 DMG

KO'd:

Iskra
HP: KO
EN: KO
Status: Getting patched up (last doll joke, I swear)

Post Round:

Mimring
HP: 27
EN: 84
Status: Stealth Rock

Azazel

Status: None

And looks like...uh...can't figure out a pun.

Brick Break until you DAI, Mimring.

Mimring, still beaten from its first time on the field, uses Brick Break to attempt to damage the nearly dead Larvitar. Azazel decides that this lizard likes it shaken, not stirred, and uses Earthquake which actually KOs Mimring, finishing the Match 2-0 for Wolfe. TheWolfe wins!

Brick Break: (8) * 1.5 = 12 DMG
Earthquake: (10 + 3 + 1.5) * 1.5 = 21.75 DMG

Rewards (yay):
TheWolfe: 2CC
Azazel: 1EC, 2MC, 1DC, 2KOC

UllarWarlord: 2CC
Mimring: 1EC, 2MC, 1DC
Iskra: 1EC, 2MC, 1DC
