Z-Happy Hour is a upgraded DD that boosts Defenses, and Z-Spite lets you heal off chip damage. After STAB, Supersonic Sky-Strike hits 270 BP, meaning a resisted Sky-Strike is stronger than a neutral EQ or Waterfall.

Snorlax's best option would be Giga Impact + Snorlaxium-Z. Normalim-Z SelfDestruct is still 200 BP, where as Pulverizing Pancake is 210 BP.

I think Special/Mixed Veno has more potential. In the sun, Z-Growth gives +3 Sp Attack. I'd run something like Firium-Z with Earthquake, Solar Beam, Growth, Sludge Bomb / Sunny Day.
Snorlax, agreed, forgot about its signature move, except the Signature S-Crystal only works with that move, you cannot use it with the healing Z-Moves, or Z-boosting moves. So I stick with Seld Destruct.

Venusaur, I still think pure physical is safer so you won't have to split EVs, and you can avoid weather changes slowing down Solar Beam for Grass-type STAB coverage.
I agree Growth might be better to boost Attack off of, but the other boosts Defenses and Speed as well.

that's why you run Z-Psycho Cut Topsy Turvy Malamar, right?
no but really steal those boosts
oh and you can also run Heal Block + Haze + Some Other Bloody Move Cofagrigus
or just Heal Block latios

Yes, stuff like Z-Flash is banned in regular, but only if you have the right stone. If you have a different stone, like an Electrium Z, it is still valid because the validator doesn't know that you can use Z-Flash.

If that works in this meta then this should be fixed.

Edit: @ below me; good point, but still should be banned imo

Heal Block doesn't prevent the recovery side effect of Z-moves but Haze works.

Anyway Toxapex can also run Z-Haze to deal with setup.

I'm surprised anyone talked about Greninja yet.

here it comes
Greninja @ Groundium Z
Ability: Protean
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Happy Hour
- Spite
- Hydro Pump / Hydro Cannon
- Ice Beam

Calcs :
+1 252 SpA Protean Greninja Tectonic Rage (185 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Kyurem-Black: 420-495 (92.5 - 109%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO

252 SpA Protean Greninja Tectonic Rage (185 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Toxapex: 288-342 (94.7 - 112.5%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO

+1 252 SpA Protean Greninja Tectonic Rage (185 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 384-453 (95 - 112.1%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO

And that's only the 185 BP one.

Groundium Z is important as the Z-crystal, as it makes you able to deal with Toxapex without being easily revenge killed by Kyurem-Black.
Happy hour is your all around +1 move, and it's definitely useful.
Spite is here to fully heal Greninja, and the secondary effect... works against Z-moves ! Definitely nice against stall.
Hydro Pump / Hydro Cannon is the strong move that you will use to land Tectonic Rage. Also Hydro Pump can work as coverage, while Hydro Cannon can't but provides a stronger Tectonic Rage.
And finally, Ice Beam is your coverage and can be useful to land the Tectonic Rage in case Hydro Pump / Hydro Cannon runs out of PP.

More importantly :
This is far from being the only set Greninja can use, it can also lure a lot of things with different Z-crystals, and could even run a physical set to deal with it's checks.

I'm not sure if Spite is too useful, Gunk Shot seems like it would be better for more coverage and the possibility to use a 190 BP physical Z move. Even at +1 in its defenses, Greninja is quite frail, and often won't need another boost to clean.
+1 4 Atk Protean Greninja Acid Downpour (190 BP) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 390-459 (55.4 - 65.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Well, at first i was thinking about a physical set with Gunk Shot / Low Kick / Gigavolt Havoc... Then i realized it wasn't great against light ground types.
And i tried Shattered Psyche but Spiritomb looks kinda interesting in this meta, and completely shuts down that set.
And then there's Tectonic Rage but Skarmory is a problem for it.

... So yeah, removing Spite looks like a good idea : either you go for a physical set with Happy Hour / Waterfall or Ice Punch / Gunk Shot / Low kick + Gigavolt havoc, either you go for a mixed set at the cost of a little bulk, but that could be useful to deal with special walls.

Also don't use Eviolite Chansey in this meta, it doesn't get the holy 100% recovery Z-moves, tho.

Ooooooooooooh that makes sense lmao ill delete all my previous posts then. How did I not see that lol

Greninja @ Electrium Z
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Ice Beam
- Hydro Pump
- Grass Knot
- Happy Hour

fuhuhuuuuuck...

This thing seems to dismantle most unprepared teams just at team preview. BoltBeam alone covers just about anything you'd care to hit, Hydro Pump does some extra damage against specific mons like Magnezone that resist both or take both neutrally, and Grass Knot helps hit heavier Pokemon. Z-Happy Hour is super busted when you get a free turn, but with Greninja's piss defenses you need two, maybe 3 Happy Hours to start actually taking hits. Oh, and Z-Hydro Pump with Electrium is able to easily take on the most popular Hazer that I've seen, Toxapex, which is nice.

Should we have a ban on Porygon-Z barring it holding any Z-Crystals? Mostly because there is the disgusting thing of Z-Conversion and Adaptability Z-Hyper Beam that can (thanks to an earlier post) 2HKO a Eviolite Chansey without any Stealth Rocks.

I mean, we also have things like Z-Happy Hour Greninja, who will never have counters due to the Z-Crystals fixing any and all coverage issues; Kyurem Black, who gets free access to physical Ice-STAB and Burn prevention + a Speed bonus with Safeguard; and walls with Haze that effectively prevent any stat boosting whatsoever due to free healing.

Porygon isn't unbeatable, since it requires a free turn to setup with mediocre bulk, and while it can 2HKO eviolite Chansey, letting it setup in a meta filled with Z-Haze and nukers, along with faster Pokemon that themselves use boosting moves similar to Conversion (as they give +1 to all such as Greninja, Jirachi, etc), along with ones that outright OHKO Porygon after a boost, makes it less threatening than you might think. Still super busted but well, welcome to this meta lmao

+1 252 SpA Porygon-Z Breakneck Blitz (200 BP) vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Eviolite Chansey: 319-376 (45.3 - 53.4%) -- 36.3% chance to 2HKO
+1 252 SpA Porygon-Z Breakneck Blitz (200 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Toxapex: 282-333 (92.7 - 109.5%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO (Can survive if Specially bulky, can Z-haze to full heal.)

+1 252 SpA Protean Greninja Subzero Slammer (175 BP) vs. +1 0 HP / 0 SpD Porygon-Z: 307-363 (98.7 - 116.7%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO (Neutral hit, so point gets across)
252 Atk Kartana Bloom Doom (175 BP) vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Porygon-Z: 328-387 (105.4 - 124.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Teravolt Kyurem-Black Subzero Slammer (200 BP) vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Porygon-Z: 357-421 (114.7 - 135.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Well, you do have a point.

Minior @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Shields Down
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Shell Smash

While probably not as effective as it could be due to all the Z-Haze running around, but meh. Just spam z-shell smash. While you'll perpetually be at -1 in each defense, shield form has nice bulk to mitigate this, and z-substitute can be used to reset all your lowered defenses. The rest if fairly simple; smash your way through the enemy team.

I do have a team, but I don't know how to make an RMT. Do I just post it here, or do I need to make a separate thread for it and then post a link?

You can put it here.

To give this post some content, here's one set I've been using:

Gengar @ Ghostium Z
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Confuse Ray
- Sludge Wave
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt

Z-Confuse Ray confuses the opponent and gives you +1 Special Attack. From there, you can spam STAB Never-Ending Nightmare off of Focus Blast. Not many things outspeed you because Scarf isn't common this meta. Substitute is an option, I suppose, over Thunderbolt.

Wouldn't it be more helpful to consolidate moves to use Thunder over Focus Blast?
Z-Rain Dance Manaphy and Drizzle is a thing.

Fightinium-Z allows it to power up its best coverage move off of Thunder.
Shadow Ball can go alongside Sludge Wave with an extra Attack slot or SW can be replaced with SUB.

I figure nothing comes in on Gengar to counter or check it without preparing for its STAB, so why not power up and maximize Accuracy for the move it will use the most. Thunder also provides excellent coverage on the many Water types and Flying types.

Now Normal types will fear Gengar and not think they can switch in unscathed (Focus Miss can allow free switch ins on what could be 1HKOs).

Gengar @ Fightium Z (185 BP off Thunder)
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

After all; most people would switch out Psychic, Ghost and Fairy types fearing its STAB and send in Dark and Normal types, only to get nuked.
