No Restrictions

The battlers are on a solid platform in the middle of a giant bowl filled with delicious broth. No move restrictions at all, because you can safely go seismetoad on the platform and there is plenty of broth to swampert your enemies with. In the soup, there is one of each letter unown floating in around aimlessly. They are all close enough to pick up, and a battler may use one action each round (they can't just use three unowns) to use any move that begins with that letter. Once an unown is used, it cannot be used again.

Levitate: (Trait) This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a Flying-type. Otherwise Dig and Dive will miss. Ground moves can still hit. Levitate Pokemon will retain the Levitate trait when they use Skill Swap on an enemy, and will steal the opponent's ability (the user can specify if they want a foe or ally to gain Levitate from a Skill Swap.) LET'S DO THIS

Cryogonal: Substitute (15) ~ Double Team (4) ~ Reflect

If Unown: D is not taken A1 AND neither pokemon is using Magic Coat A1, use Unown: Dark Void instead of Substitute.

Camerupt: Fire Blast (Hitmonlee) ~ Heat Wave ~ Bulldoze (Hitmonlee)

If Unown: S is not taken A1 AND Hitmonlee is not using Protective/Evasive actions A1, use Unown: Sky Attack (Hitmonlee) instead.

god i fucking hate going first in soup

Hmmm...let's make the best of these orders.

Bruce: Wide Guard ~ Rock Slide ~ Brick Break (Cryogonal)
If Rock Slide misses, do it again.

Cairo: Protect (Bruce) ~ Shadow Ball (Camerupt) ~ Unown H: Hydro Pump (Camerupt)

<Objection> still, if a move hits multiple targets and there are multiple targets available, it cannot be directed at just one target

Bulldoze is a multitarget move.
That one action needs to be changed. The first two rounds are already reffed in entirety.

camerupt solid rock and magma armor plz

also why do you round down on the .5s when i attack and round up when he attacks :(

also keep track of dead unowns plz

Rock Slide is a spread attack, and should have destroyed all of his clones, so Rock Slide and Brick Break should hit Cryogonal.

"Bruce, you reckless attacks will crush this snowflake, while Cairo whittles away at Camerupt!"

Bruce: Hi Jump Kick (Cryogonal) ~ Jump Kick (Cryogonal) ~ Hi Jump Kick (Cryogonal)
If Cryogonal has Double Team clones up, then Rock Slide.
If Cryogonal is protected / detected, then target Camerupt, unless they both are protecting, then Meditate.

Okay. Bulbapedia says HJK and JK are affected by Reckless.

And Reflect subtracts 5 from the final damage, not the base power.

And the second HJK was actually a JK.

(13 + 3 + 2 + 7.5 - 3) * 1.5 = 33.75 = 34 Damage for HJK.

((10 + 3 + 2 + 7.5 - 3) * 1.5) - 5 = 24.25 = 24 Damage for JK.

That's 58 Damage.

Bide's multiplier is 1.75, so that does 102 damage.

58 * 1.75 = 101.5 = 102 Damage.

6+102/2 = 57 Energy cost for Bide.

So Cryogonal has 4 HP and 9 Energy.

Cryogonal: Unown: Lovely Kiss ~ Chill ~ Blizzard

If Cofagrigus uses Unown: Magic Coat or Protective/Evasive actions, Chill and push actions back.

Camerupt: Unown: Quick Guard ~ Fire Blast ~ Fire Blast

If Cofagrigus uses Unown: Magic Coat or Protective/Evasive actions, Chill and push actions back.

92% ACCURACY DO NOT FAIL ME

I'm kinda surprised to hear that they are affected by reckless, but I see you're right.

WAIT.

Referee training grounds states the long forumula as:

((Base Attack Power + STAB + Critical Hit + Attack Rank Bonus + Ability Effects + Field Effects - Defense Rank Bonus - Reflect/Light Screen - Burn Effect) * Type Effectiveness) + (Stage Boost Difference *1.75).

Which means, and the channel agrees (Lou, Dog), it is BEFORE whether or not a move is super effective. Bit more hp (2) for you, which also means 2 energy more. If this affects actions, change now.
55.5 * 1.75 = 97.125
97.125 / 2 = 48.5625 + 6 = 55 energy

Cryogonal: Unown: Lovely Kiss ~ Chill ~ Blizzard

If Cofagrigus uses Unown: Magic Coat or Protective/Evasive actions, Chill and push actions back.

Camerupt: Heat Wave ~ Heat Wave ~ Fire Blast

If Cofagrigus uses a combination involving Vacuum Wave AND Unown: Q is not taken, Unown: Quick Guard and push actions back.

If Cofagrigus uses a Protective/Evasive action, Chill and push actions back.

this better work

This is a tricky situation Cairo, let's see if you can pull Bruce's slack.
