hoopa-u, mega gallade and mega heracross have all been quick-banned
Maybe we should all go back to playing Generation 6 UU.
HOLY POWER CREEP. Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon aren't even out yet and it's already utter chaos in these tiers. Once they do release it'll, be like having to start all over again. The inevitable new forms. The tutors. The new Z-Moves...I can hear all the metagames crying already.
Also, can drizzle be un-banned in the lower tiers now that all the best swift swimmers are OU?
I strongly doubt that Swift Swim will be unbanned. Omastar and Kabutops are still ridiculously good sweepers, and there's far too much else to deal with in the lower tiers - particularly UU - to even consider re-introducing any new threats at this point. IMO, with the volatility that OU has - and by extension UU - it's unlikely that much is gonna get unbanned in the lower tiers this generation. It wasn't this bad in Gen 6 I don't believe. I'm not a tier leader or council member though, so I can't speak for them.
Welp shit, looks like i won't be playing UU until probably next gen.
Play RU then.
lol UU is hella turbulent this gen. first UBs and manaphy and now this.
I can definitely see a HO based meta with all these amazing wallbreakers like Hoopa-U and M-Gardevoir, but I'm pretty sure half of these mons will be quickbanned in the next few days so enjoy them while you can.
Hoopa-U was automatically banned to BL. Mega Gardevoir is pretty fun to bust through Stall with though due to taunt to stop Blissey and Hyper Voice busts through everything else.
I'd reckon you mean Blissey and not Chansey.
Anyhow I can see Nihilego actually staying as it's typing is still really weird both offensively and defensively and Scizor eats it for breakfast.
Yeah, Nihilego is staying for sure. Not too great in the current steel-heavy UU.
Gardevoir-Mega and Jirachi just need to go tho.
