Zen Headbutt should definitely be mentioned on lead. Roserade is more than common enough to warrant it.

Zen Headbutt vs min/min Roserade: 83.52% - 99.62%
Psychic vs min/min Roserade: 57.47% - 67.43%

In general, physical Psychic is superior to special Psychic because it bypasses Mismagius's CMs while also dealing much greater damage to Hitmonlee. You also hit Chansey much harder for what it's worth.

Isn't it a 2HKO other wise?

[SET]
name: Support
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: U-turn
move 3: Yawn
move 4: Zen Headbutt / Psychic / Thunderbolt
item: Leftovers
nature: Impish / Bold
evs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def

[SET COMMENTS]

Uxie has a considerable amount of bulk that enables it to take hits from many opposing Pokemon. This set is all about softening up your opponent and setting up the rest of your team for an eventual sweep. Bring Uxie into something that can't possibly penetrate its impregnable defenses, and proceed to use Stealth Rock or Yawn. At this point, Uxie will probably be faced with a counter switching in, but unfortunately, will likely be unable to do much with its lackluster attacking stats. However, Uxie will be able to switch in repeatedly without difficulty, allowing you to rinse and repeat the Yawn / Stealth Rock process until you have both slept a Pokémon and Stealth Rock is out on the field. At this point, when you bring Uxie out, you can just start using U-turn while your opponent goes to their counter, choosing the appropriate Pokémon each time. Obviously, this set will force a lot of switches, so it works best in concert with entry hazards.

The choice of the fourth move depends entirely on what holes need to be covered in your team. Psychic is your obligatory STAB move, and it helps to damage the common Fighting-types in UU, especially Hitmontop who will try to rain on your parade by Rapid Spinning your Stealth Rock away. In OU, Psychic will hurt Heracross and Infernape. Thunderbolt helps deal with Honchkrow and Feraligatr in UU and Gyarados in OU. Zen Headbutt is another choice, scoring a KO on Roserade in particular.

Uxie's downfall is lack of recovery, and someone who utilizes Wish can work well to mend Uxie's HP. Clefable and Blissey are great candidates, and as an added bonus, they attract Fighting-type attacks, which Uxie can shrug off with ease. Uxie has a tough time dealing with Dark-types, like Houndoom and Absol. A great partner to handle these threats is Hariyama. Hariyama can handle Dark-type attacks and dish out STAB Fighting moves in return. Honchkrow is troublesome, however, as it can KO Hariyama with a Choice Band boosted Drill Peck with Stealth Rock on the field. Therefore, one might consider using Registeel as well, as it is a dependable partner to handle Honchkrow. It resists Honckrow's STAB attacks and can cripple it with Thunder Wave. Registeel can also hurt Honchkrow with Iron Head, which can deal a fair amount of damage due to its lackluster base Defense. Mismagius is another threat to Uxie, and Registeel can deal with it nicely, dishing out Iron Heads to break Mismagius's Substitutes, or using Thunder Wave to render it useless.

[SET]
name: Dual Screen
move 1: Reflect
move 2: Light Screen
move 3: Memento / U-turn
move 4: Stealth Rock / U-turn / Yawn
item: Light Clay
nature: Impish
evs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 76 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Uxie is an efficient dual screen user thanks to its colossal defenses and respectable Speed. This set works well both as a lead or as a transition Pokemon, and with its impressive defenses, Uxie can take quite a beating from both sides of the attacking spectrum. Behind dual screens, Uxie is notoriously difficult to take down - even a Choice Band Tyranitar's Crunch can only manage a maximum of 47% to it. This means that Uxie can stay in on Tyranitar and proceed to set up both screens as well as Stealth Rock, if need be.

Memento is really what sets Uxie apart from other Dual Screeners, as it drops the foe's Attack and Special Attack by a further 2 stages, while causing Uxie to faint. This is particularly useful for setting up a sweep with a frail Pokemon such as Belly Drum Charizard, or for Baton Pass teams in need of a little extra insurance. It also means that the incoming Pokemon gets in without taking a hit, and is once again very helpful in setting up frail Pokemon.U-turn can be used in the third slot, granting Uxie another way to leave the field without having to sacrifice itself later in the match. If you select U-turn for the third slot, Stealth Rock or Yawn can be used in the final slot to support the entire team.

The last slot relies on what gaps your team needs to fill in. Stealth Rock is beneficial for pretty much any team, and Uxie's bulk allows it to set it up reliably. Yawn is another option to force your opponent to switch out or stay in and allow your next sweeper to set up with ease.

The 76 Speed EVs allow Uxie to outspeed Jolly Tyranitar and Adamant Scizor, both of whom are far less threatening once Uxie is safely behind a Reflect. Light Clay is the item of choice as it extends the duration of Light Screen and Reflect by a further three turns, allowing the team to make the most effective use of the screens Uxie sets up. An alternate EV spread can be used, which is a simple 252 HP / 6 Def / 252 Spe and a Jolly nature. This allows you to outspeed base 90s and speed tie with Houndoom and Drapion so that you can set up your screens before taking any damage.

Countering this set is very difficult because of dual screens. Uxie survives a +2 Night Slash from an Adamant Absol, taking only around 57.63% - 68.36% with Reflect up. Mismagius can freely switch in and set up Substitute and proceed to use Calm Mind, so trapping it is crucial so it doesn't come and ruin your setup. The perfect partner to work with this set is Spiritomb. Light Screen can aid Spiritomb by cushioning Shadow Balls from Mismagius if it decides to stay in, and Spiritomb can retaliate with Dark Pulse or Pursuit. Brick Break can also ruin this strategy, and since a Ghost-types areimmune to Brick Break, switching Spiritomb in will enable you to preserve your screens.

[SET]
name: TrickScarf
move 1: Trick
move 2: U-turn
move 3: Stealth Rock
move 4: Thunder Wave / Yawn / Knock Off
item: Choice Scarf
nature: Impish
evs: 252 HP / 104 Def / 152 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Uxie is generally regarded as a slow defensive Pokemon, so slapping a Choice Scarf on it can be a big surprise. This set is best used as a lead, where you can force many opposing Pokemon to switch out by Tricking them your Choice Scarf. Azelf, Ambipom, and Aerodactyl will most likely Taunt you, so using Trick on them will force them to switch. In this case, you are free to U-turn to a counter of the Pokemon they bring out. If you are not Taunted, you may set up your own Stealth Rock and proceed to U-turn or status the foe. Uxie also fares well against other leads, even those who will normally not Taunt you. Opposing Choice leads, such as Jirachi, will most likely Trick you, which will only lock them into that move. Uxie's massive bulk comes into play here, as even more powerful leads such as Metagross or Tyranitar can't 2HKO you. Beware of leads like Ampibom, who don't mind Choice Scarf. Roserade and Smeargle may welcome it as well, as it gives them another turn to set up Toxic Spikes or Spikes, respectfully. In such cases, you can, however, reliably set up Stealth Rock and paralyze the foe's speedy lead.

The last move is completely up to preference, but the options listed are the most reliable. Thunder Wave can destroy a fast Pokemon switching in, while Yawn can force another switch from your foe to further reveal their team. Knock Off is another option to support your team. Reflect, Light Screen, or even Memento can work as well in the right circumstances. Another attacking move may also work; just be sure to change to the appropriate nature. In OU play, 152 Speed EVs allows you to outspeed base 130's like Crobat and Aerodactly while holding a Choice Scarf. You should always maximize your Hit Points to allow more survivability, but you may put the rest of the EVs into an attacking stat if you wish since Uxie is quite weak.

Uxie is an incredibly bulky Pokemon, and thus pairs well with frailer Pokemon. In OU, Lucario is a great option to use with Uxie. Lucario resists everything Uxie is weak to, while Uxie resists 2/3 of the attack types Lucario is weak to. This lets Lucario set up on Choiced super effective attacks aimed at Uxie. Lucario almost always needs Stealth Rock to sweep, which Uxie can provide. Using a relatively bulky Steel-type, such as Heatran, along with Uxie can also be beneficial, since it can soak up the Explosions from leads such as Metagross and Azelf. In addition, they cover each other's weaknesses well. Trick is a tough move to handle because it is generally hard to switch into. However, Uxie with Choice Scarf screams set up fodder. A smart opponent will know that you outpace their Pokemon and therefore bring in a Pokemon such as Houndoom or Absol who can set up on Uxie with ease. You must anticipate this and have an appropriate Pokemon to switch in. Hariyama can take any attack from Absol and Houndoom (barring Psycho Cut from Absol). If Psycho Cut makes you nervous, Steelix and Registeel, in particular, can switch in on Absol relatively easily and handle it.

[SET]
name: Trick Room
move 1: Yawn
move 2: Trick Room
move 3: U-turn
move 4: Reflect / Psychic / Thunderbolt
item: Leftovers
nature: Relaxed
evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

This set plays much more differently than the previous sets. This set utilizes the move Trick Room, which makes slower Pokemon move before faster ones. Yawn is a great tactic to force switches, and you can then use Trick Room and then U-turn to bring in your next Pokemon. The last slot totally depends on what you like. Reflect aids the team by slicing the damage from physical attacks in half, while Psychic and Thunderbolt are your attacking options. Psychic hurts Poison- and Fighting-types, while Thunderbolt hurts Honchkrow and Feraligatr in particular. Thunderbolt can also hurt Gyarados if you are planning to use this set in OU.

As mentioned in the previous set, Absol and Houndoom are major threats to Uxie and can easily set up in front of it. Hariyama is your primary switch-in and can easily outpace Houndoom and Absol after you use Trick Room and frighten them with a STAB Fighting move. Registeel can handle both Honchkrow and Mismagius, and with Trick Room down, it will have a much easier job doing so.

[Team Options]

Uxie is one of the most reliable support Pokemon in UU. It has colossal defenses to handle most attacks thrown at it, not to mention a myriad amount of support moves. This yellow creature can be quite a surprise to the opponent because each set play a different role.

Each set has an individual purpose, but one thing they all have in common is that all four sets have trouble dealing with Dark-types and Ghost-types. Absol, Houndoom, Honchkrow, and Mismagius can easily set up in front of it, and Uxie can't do much with limited options on the attacking side. Hariyama handles a huge portion of Uxie's counters because it has the ability Thick Fat (which can shrug off Houndoom's STAB attack) and a resistance to Dark attacks. Honchkrow and Mismagius can sometimes be too much for Hariyama, so Registeel can pair with Uxie nicely. If you feel that Mismagius is an extremely significant threat to your team, Spiritomb can trap and KO it with Pursuit.

Uxie brings many things to the table, like Trick Room, dual screens, Stealth Rock, and Trick. Each set has a different tactic which you can utilize to its maximum potential. Dual screens can be assisted with entry hazards like Spikes and Toxic Spikes, which can help the next sweeper OHKO things relatively easier. Yawn can also be utilized to help your upcoming sweeper. A common tactic with Yawn is, when you are in OHKO range, to use Yawn and sacrifice yourself that same turn. Through this, you can induce sleep upon the Pokemon who OHKOed you, which can help your upcoming sweeper to set up without any problems. Trick Room is great in conjunction with U-turn the next turn, as it generally ensures that Uxie will take the hit, letting you bring in your slower Pokemon safely. Trick is an excellent move to ruin your foe's Pokemon and is a great tactic to use in order to cripple a bulkier Pokemon. Uxie brings many support moves to the table and is an asset to any team.

[Other Options]

Uxie has a few other options, but most are fairly ineffective. Calm Mind sweeping sets can feasibly work, but with Uxie's lackluster Special Attack, it's not too great of an idea. Offensive moves like Shadow Ball to hit Mismagius and Psychic-types, Grass Knot to hit Gastrodon Swampert, Rhyperior, and Hippowdon, and Hidden Power Ice to hit Dragon-types for 2HKOs, are also at Uxie's disposal.

Using other status moves, like Thunder Wave or Toxic, is a good idea on the support set, but depends on your team. For example, if your team has trouble with Slowbro, Toxic could bring it down, and if your team is slower and doesn't like fast revenge killers, Thunder Wave can stop them. A "CroUxie" set can be performed with a Rest / Sleep Talk / Calm Mind / Psychic set, but it is far too weak to damage most things. Amnesia is also another option to raise Uxie's Special Defense by 2 stages, but Light Screen is a better option to aid the entire team.

[EVs]

It really is a shame that Uxie's Special Attack is not high enough to OHKO stuff without significant expenditures that cannot be made lest you imperil its tanking ability. Your best option is usually just to max out HP and Defense.

In any set, you can opt to use 252 HP / 6 Def / 252 Speed with a Jolly nature to outspeed base 90's and speed tie with base 95's like Houndoom and Drapion.

[Opinion]

Uxie is a great support Pokemon, but one thing it lacks is a reliable recovery move to replenish its health. Uxie is often overshadowed by Cresselia, primarily because of Cresselia's access to a healing move. However, Uxie is a hard Pokemon to decipher due to its versatility with its support moves. Uxie can perform many sets like dual screen, Trick Room, and Trick lead. Uxie is by no means a bad Pokemon, but it will often find itself overlooked for more flexible alternatives.

[Counters]

Dark-types and Ghost-types that can set up can really threaten Uxie. Houndoom and Absol can set up in front of Uxie with relative ease. Mismagius can come in and set up, and Uxie can't break Mismagius's Substitute with U-turn. With a couple of Calm Minds, Uxie will be unable to break its Substitutes with Psychic. Honchkrow can threaten Uxie with a Choice Band Night Slash. Drapion, however, poses arguably the largest threat to Uxie. It can Taunt Uxie, effectively shutting it down, and proceed to Swords Dance and threaten a sweep. These are the major Dark- and Ghost-types that can threaten Uxie in UU.

In OU, the list changes dramatically based upon the offensive moves you elect. Without Psychic, Heracross, Infernape, and Gengar have a field day. There are several Pokémon to whom Uxie poses no offensive threat to and that don't particularly mind switching into Stealth Rock that are able to come in and start their own set up. The major threats of this type (with the reason for each in parentheses) include Bronzong (Stealth Rock / Hypnosis), Celebi (Baton Pass / Leech Seed), Raikou (Substitute / Calm Mind), Lucario (Swords Dance / Calm Mind), Metagross (Agility), and Jirachi (Calm Mind / Wish passing). Beware of Pursuit users like Weavile, and take care to keep Uxie from getting poisoned or burned if you are not running the Rest / Sleep Talk set — either condition will ruin it. Blissey and Snorlax beat Uxie in the long run as well.

Unless I'm mistaken I can see no mention of Rain Dance anywhere. I really think it should be put in Other Options as Uxie's bulk helps it set it up.
