[OVERVIEW]
Venusaur is a pokemon Pokemon that is rather one-dimensional in the Underused UnderUsed metagame, as it is outclassed by Roserade, Amoonguss, and Tangrowth in most of its roles,(+comma) bar one, which is being an extremely potent sun sweeper thanks to its ability, chlorophyll Chlorophyll, which doubles its speed Speed stat when the sun is up. When the sun is up Chlorophyll activates (repetitive wording), it can outspeed Aerodactyl and slower scarfers Choice Scarf users while having a modest Modest nature, which makes it hit much harder with a life orb Life Orb and with growth Growth. It has a pretty good offensive typing,(-comma)(You don't elaborate at all about the offensive typing and exclusively talk about Venusaur's defensive typing, so this phrase could probably be taken out.) with a better defensive typing which that allows it to set up on pokemon Fairy-type Pokemon such as like Florges and Whimsicott, while resisting most forms of priority, such as Crawdaunt's(+apostrophe) and Feraligatr’'s(-curly apostrophe,+regular apostrophe) aqua jet Aqua Jet, mach punch Mach Punch and vacuum wave Vacuum Wave from fighting-types Fighting-types, and bullet punch Bullet Punch from Metagross and Lucario. Thanks to its defensive typing,(+comma) It it can also be an alright a decent check to fighting types Fighting-types(+hyphen) thanks to its defensive typing.

Moves
=========
Growth is a the crux of this set, as it allows Venusaur to get to +2 Special Attack in one turn if the sun is up, allowing it to immediately begin sweeping. Sludge Bomb is Venusaur’'s(-curly apostrophe,+regular apostrophe) main STAB option, as it can hit a lot of pokemon Pokemon extremely hard. Giga Drain is used as a secondary STAB, as it can hit most Poison-type(+hyphen) resists very hard while getting off recovery regaining health against a lot when attacking of frailer pokemon Pokemon. Hidden Power Fire, although being kind of fairly weak, gets a power boost under sun and can hit steel types Steel-types,(-comma) as well as other pokemon Pokemon that resist Venusaur’'s(-curly apostrophe,+regular apostrophe) STAB’s(-curly apostrophe) moves, such as Toxicroak. Solarbeam Solar Beam(+space) and Sleep Powder can be run, but only in tandem with each other,(-comma) and only if you have another chlorophyll Chlorophyll sweeper on your team already.(I think you should probably elaborate why another Chlorophyll sweeper would be necessary either in this paragraph or under Team Options.)
Set Details
===========
One of the best things about Venusaur is its ability,(-comma) chlorophyll Chlorophyll,(-comma) which doubles Venusaur’'s(-curly apostrophe,+regular apostrophe) speed Speed when the sun is up, allowing it to outspeed most relevant scarfers Choice Scarf users and Mega-Aerodactyl Mega Aerodactyl(-hyphen). Life Orb boosts its damage output by a significant amount,;(-comma,+semicolon) but however,(+comma) while lum berry a Lum Berry can be used to switch into Thunder Wave and Scald more easily, there is a significant decrease in sweeping potential. It This set has runs maximum special attack Special Attack ev’s EVs(-curly apostrophe),(-comma) when paired with a modest Modest nature,(-comma) in order to hit as hard as possible. Maximum speed Speed ev’s EVs(-curly apostrophe) allow Venusaur to outspeed most relevant scarfers Choice Scarf users,(-comma) as well as speed tie with Trace Modest Gardevoir running Trace.
Usage Tips
=========
Venusaur performs best as a late-game sweeper, destroying teams when it’s whose checks and counters have been removed,;(-comma,+semicolon) however, it still does performs well as a mid-battle mid-game cleaner that can punch holes in a team for a sweeper to come in finish off later. Venusaur performs best on sun teams, which can set-up the sun for Venusaur to sweep in games. so once sun has been set up,(+comma) It is best for Venusaur to should begin setting up growth Growth against pokemon Pokemon such as like Florges and Chesnaught, which can’'t(-curly apostrophe,+regular apostrophe) really do much back to harm Venusaur.
Team Options
===========
Venusaur's(+apostrophe) best partner is something one that can set the sun up sun for it to sweep,;(-comma,+semicolon) the best of these setters is Whimsicott, as it can not only set-up use Sunny Day the sun with prankster Prankster, but can also use memento Memento to help bring Venusaur in for easy set-up and set up easily. Cresselia, Azelf, and Uxie are also good sunsetters partners to set up sun(As cool as "sunsetters" sounds, it's not a recognized or commonly used one that I know of.) since because they can help bring Venusaur in thanks to Lunar Dance, Explosion, and Memento,(+comma) respectively,;(-comma,+semicolon) while Sableye can be a good sunsetter also fits this role well thanks to it’s(-curly apostrophe) ability, Prankster. Fire-type sunsetters such as Entei can also work as good partners, since as they not only work as sunsetters set up sun, but abusers can abuse it as well thanks to their powerful fire Fire-type attacks. Mega-Aerodactyl Mega Aerodactyl(-hyphen) is a good partner for Venusaur due to its typing,(-comma) which that allows it to beat the Fire-(+hyphen), Bug-(+hyphen), and Flying-types that beat counter (Not sure if this is the proper term for this context, but "beat" again seemed too repetitive to me.) Venusaur,(-comma) while also being able to pick off pokemon Pokemon that Venusaur has weakened. Mega-Houndoom Mega Houndoom(-hyphen) hit’s(-curly apostrophe) very hard when the sun is up,(-comma) while also hitting the Steel-types that non-HP Fire Venusaur without Hidden Power Fire can’'t(-curly apostrophe,+regular apostrophe), making it a good partner. Fighting-types also make good partners for Venusaur, as they can lure in and deal damage to the poison Poison-(+hyphen) and psychic Psychic-types(+hyphen) that beat Venusaur.

Other Options
=============
Venusaur itself can run Sunny Day, which allows it to be used on non-sun teams, but you either lose out on Coverage coverage, Growth, or recovery, which isn’'t(-curly apostrophe,+regular apostrophe) a very good trade-off(+hyphen). (-space)(There was an extra space here o.o)Sleep Powder can be run to cripple most of Venusaur’'s(-curly apostrophe,+regular apostrophe) switch-ins. Venusaur can run mixed sets consisting of Growth, Earthquake, Power Whip, and Sludge Bomb to beat most of its checks. Venusaur can also run a Swords Dance plus Physical physical attacking set with Swords Dance, but it is mostly outclassed by other attack plus offensive speed boosters,(+comma) since as it needs a lot of support to be effective.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Special Walls**: Mandibuzz, Goodra, and Blissey can take Venusaur's attacks and cripple it back with thunder wave Thunder Wave, hit it with fire blast Fire Blast, or can use knock off Knock Off so it does less damage later.(Is doing less damage later referring to knocking off Venusaur's Life Orb? This kind of confused me, so maybe you should elaborate on this section.)
**Poison Types Poison-types(+hyphen)**: Poison-types,(+comma) such as Dragalge,(+comma) can resist most of Venusaur's attacks and hit back hard,.(-comma,+period) Tentacruel and Crobat both get a special mention as checks, but both neither of them cannot switch into Solarbeam Solar Beam(+space) and or Hidden power Power Fire.
**Psychic-Types Psychic-types**: Most psychic types Psychic-types, like such as Cresselia, can take Venusaur's attacks and deal a lot of damage back with their stabs STAB moves. Special mention goes to Gardevoir,(-comma) which can trace Chlorophyll and outspeed Venusaur if it runs a Timid nature, and will Speed speed tie if it is Modest, and can abuse the sun on it's own.
**Fire-types**: Most fire-types Fire-types can OHKO Venusaur with their stab STAB moves,(-comma) but and can also abuse their fire Fire-type(+hyphen) moves with much higher power when the sun is up. Choice Scarf Infernape is a special case, as it is one of the very few things Pokemon that can outspeed Venusaur when the sun is up.
**Super-Effective(-hyphen) Priority**: Pokemon such as like Mamoswine, Abomosnow Abomasnow, and Fletchinder can all hit Venusaur with their Super-effective super effective(-hyphen) priority moves. Abomosnow Abomasnow gets a special mention, as it can also reset the weather and end Venusaur's sweep.
**Prankster**: Pokemon with Prankster, such as Whimsicott and Tornadus, can reset the weather to end Venusaur's sweep.
