Jellicent @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Hex
- Will-O-Wisp / Toxic
- Recover

Slowbro struggles with bulky waters like Jellicent. Jellicent is able to prevent Slowbro from setting up while also damaging it with Hex+Wisp/Toxic. Unboosted Psyshocks can be recovered off easily.

0 SpA Slowbro Psyshock vs. 248 HP / 212+ Def Jellicent: 82-97 (20.3 - 24%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Jellicent Hex (65 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Slowbro: 150-176 (38 - 44.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0 SpA Jellicent Hex (130 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Slowbro: 294-348 (74.6 - 88.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after burn damage

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 204 HP / 248 Def / 56 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Wish
- Scald
- Protect
- Toxic

Vaporeon can always come in on CM Slowbro and toxic it, then wish up and stall it out in a couple turns. Psyshock doesnt really threaten it even at +2.

+2 0 SpA Slowbro Psyshock vs. 204 HP / 248+ Def Vaporeon: 169-201 (37.3 - 44.4%) -- 100% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Seismitoad @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Protect
- Scald
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock

Seismitoad is not affected by Slowbro's Scald thanks to its ability, and Psyshock does very little damage to it. Seismitoad can Toxic Slowbro, which can be very annoying since it won't be able to set up anymore.

+2 0 SpA Slowbro Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Seismitoad: 150-177 (36.2 - 42.7%) -- 96% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Ferroseed @ Eviolite
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Leech Seed
- Toxic
- Protect
- Seed Bomb / Ingrain

Makes a complete fool of Slowbro, walling both STABs and can deplete Slowbro's health quickly with Leech Seed and Toxic.

+6 0 SpA Slowbro Scald vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Eviolite Ferroseed: 129-152 (44.3 - 52.2%) -- 16.4% chance to 2HKO

Ferro takes as much (or as little) from a +6 Slowbro as compared to a +2 Slowbro from the above entries, lol.

Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Spikes
- Leech Seed
- Bullet Seed / Gyro Ball
- Protect

Ferroseed works very well against Barbaracle, as it resists every single one of its attacks. It can only be 2HKO'd by Z Stone Edge, and can regain health thanks to Leech Seed + Protect. Bullet Seed does decent enough damage against it, but any attack like Gyro Ball combined to Leech Seed is good enough for Barbaracle.

Tangela can easily switch in on Barb and OHKOing it in the process. It 1v1s Barb even at +2 which is kinda crazy lol.

Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Atk / 76 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Wood Hammer

- Synthesis / Swords Dance / Leech Seed
- Stone Edge / Stealth Rock

Torterra is a nice check to barbaracle, resisting it's stab z-move and taking a hit even at +2 from Rockium Z and Razor Shell, and obviously firing back w/ a super-effective stab Wood Hammer. Clealry not the best mon rn but it's still p unexplored i feel.

+2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Barbaracle Razor Shell vs. 252 HP / 44 Def Torterra: 279-328 (70.8 - 83.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Somewhat of a shaky check, but if it's still at full, it can come in and OHKO with Energy Ball, or T-Wave to stop the sweep. Roost is also an option to get back to full to maintain the use of sash.

SWAGSIRE has so much swag that it doesn't even know wtf is going on in the battle, because of that he just forgot that Barbaracle has set up. We all know if you forget something it might as well not exist, so with that said SWAGSIRE just does not care about the boosts Barbaracle gets and says hell no I set up you have never set up you can't prove it. In the meantime SWAGSIRE probably does a dab as well.

Hitmontop is a nice Barbaracle check, can live anything from a +1 Razor Shell to a +1 Continental Crush (+1 due to intimidate) then retaliate and OHKO with a Close Combat.

Rotom-Mow @ Choice Specs

Exeggutor-Alola @ Dragonium Z
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Draco Meteor
- Giga Drain
- Flamethrower

Rotom can't touch Exeggutor at all unless it's HP Flying which is not that common to be honest. Eggy can KO it with either Devastating Drake or with Draco / Flamethrower after a bit of chip. This is also a perfect opportunity to set up Trick Room for it.

252 SpA Choice Specs Rotom-Mow Leaf Storm vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Exeggutor-Alola: 86-102 (21.8 - 25.8%) -- 2% chance to 4HKO

Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Zing Zap
- U-turn

- Spiky Shield

The perfect answer pretty much. Stops momentum thanks to its ability, eats Leaf Storms like its nothing, and HP Ground is not a move on Rotom. (yet)
Also has reliable recovery, which make it a repeated switch in, unlike some Assault Vest users that mean to check it.

Vanilluxe as a check. Pretty straight forward, Vanilluxe clicks Blizzard after getting a free switch and then MowTom dies. Ice Cream outspeeds with Scarf.

252 SpA Vanilluxe Blizzard vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Rotom-Mow: 302-356 (125.3 - 147.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

reserving gogoat. jk actually here's plume

Vileplume @ Black Sludge
Ability: Effect Spore
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Moonlight / Synthesis
- Sleep Powder

Pretty much a decent counter unless it's running HP Flying which 2hkos. Sludge Bomb gets the OHKO half the time after rocks damage. Also cripples it with Black Sludge so yeah.

0 SpA Vileplume Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Rotom-Mow: 200-236 (82.9 - 97.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Rotom-Mow Leaf Storm vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Vileplume: 75-88 (21.1 - 24.8%) -- possible 6HKO after Black Sludge recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Rotom-Mow Volt Switch vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Vileplume: 81-96 (22.8 - 27.1%) -- possible 5HKO after Black Sludge recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Rotom-Mow Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Vileplume: 104-123 (29.3 - 34.7%) -- 100% chance to 4HKO after Black Sludge recovery

Well, if you really want to avoid the 2hko, 252 Spd Calm Nature is possible i guess, but still kind of shaky:
252 SpA Choice Specs Rotom-Mow Hidden Power Flying vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Vileplume: 132-156 (37.2 - 44%) -- 100% chance to 3HKO after Black Sludge recovery

B+ (Cryogonal) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 48 SpD / 212 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Freeze-Dry
- Toxic
- Recover
- Rapid Spin

Er, I don't remember who exactly it was that recommended 56 spD Calm Nature for defensive Cryo(sorry to whoever it was), anyway that is ment to live Grassium Z Leaf Storm + 1 normal or 2 Specs Leaf Storms, if no rocks are up and without having to account leftovers. I changed that a slight tad by adding 2 points more speed to it so it always outspeeds Rotom-Mow.
In this case, it would even assure you get to counter Rotom-Mow on every of it's attacks even an uncommon HP Fire(which isn't listed) and when using Trick, which at that point it did be like 10x worse after tricking it away. At the same time, it would still be able to check the Trick set as Specs Freeze Dry would almost OHKO and with SR, big chance to OHKO. SpD Cryogonal is so overlooked for the blank walling and spin utility and the suggested ''overshadowing'' of the offensive set.

252 SpA Choice Specs Rotom-Mow Leaf Storm vs. 248 HP / 48+ SpD Cryogonal: 186-219 (51.2 - 60.3%) -- 89.1% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Rotom-Mow Bloom Doom (195 BP) vs. 248 HP / 48+ SpD Cryogonal: 186-220 (51.2 - 60.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Rotom-Mow Leaf Storm vs. 248 HP / 48+ SpD Cryogonal: 124-147 (34.1 - 40.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

0 SpA Cryogonal Freeze-Dry vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Rotom-Mow: 134-162 (55.6 - 67.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Vikavolt is able to take Rotom-C's stabs pretty easily, even after SR damage, and can hit it super effectively with Bug Buzz, or regain health with Roost. Pretty self-explanatory.
