I'm all for a little entertainment with dinner, but this is going overboard!

CHALLENGING FLORA!!!1!
2v2 Doubles
3 Day DQ
Unlimited Recoveries/ Chills
Arena: Unown Soup
switch=dead
items=off
abilities=all

yay!
Field Type = Neutral
Complexity = Moderate
Format = Multiples!!!
No Restrictions

The battlers are on a solid platform in the middle of a giant bowl filled with delicous broth. No move restrictions at all, because you can safely go seismetoad on the platform and there is plenty of broth to swampert your enemies with. In the soup, there is one of each letter unown floating in around aimlessly. They are all close enough to pick up, and a battler may use one action each round (they can't just use three unowns) to use any move that begins with that letter. Once an unown is used, it cannot be used again.

Team SimonSays:

Syclar (Viceroy) (M)
Nature: Mild (Adds one (1) Rank to Special Attack; Subtracts one (1) Rank from Defense)
Type: Ice/Bug
Ice: Ice STAB; immune to freezing and Sheer Cold, no vision loss or damage in Hail or snowstorm conditions, perfectly accurate and 30% Protect breaking Blizzard in Hail. Superior senses and mobility in frozen caves and other frigid arenas.
Bug: Bug STAB; More mobility in dense brush or forest conditions. Gain an extra guaranteed attack on multi-hit moves.

Abilities:
Compoundeyes: (Innate) This Pokemon’s complex eyes give it a comprehensive view of the field, making its attack 30% (x1.3) more accurate.
Mountaineer: (Innate) This Pokemon is used to scaling and avoiding rocks. It can avoid damage from Stealth Rock when it switches in, and one Rock-type attack per round.
Technician (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their attacks that normally deal 6 or below base damage to have their base damage multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) damage, and the Energy Cost for mutli-hit attacks is increased by two (2).

Thanks a lot SoS! <3

Anyway, Snapdragon, Juniper, let's work together and get around the disadvantage that is moving first! The power of love and strongth will make us succeed against this puny trainer! It sucks that using Unowns while going first is a huge risk though... A_A

Snapdragon (Monohm):
Flamethrower (Viceroy) - Thunder (Jack Knave) - Flamethrower (Viceroy)
If Flamethrower is Disabled, use Unown S (Searing Shot Viceroy) on the last action

Juniper (Frillish):
Confuse Ray (Jack Knave) - Scald (Viceroy)
- Scald (Jack Knave)
If Scald is Disabled, use Unown H (Heat Wave) on the last action

eeeeeeeek this will go bad

"Dear Adversary, we don't have Disable. Although it seems like a good idea, looking at it. Let's go, boys!"

Jack Knave: Unown S: Soak (Viceroy) ~ Sword Dance ~ Earthquake
If you hurt yourself in confusion, push actions along.

Viceroy: Sword Dance ~ Unown M: Magnet Rise ~ Icicle Spear (Monohm)

Flora, go to bed.

Turn Order: Viceroy >>> Snapdragon/Jack Knave >>> Juniper
Speed tie: <500 Jack Knave, >500 Snapdragon

We be jammin here at the Alphabet Soup, with SimonSays taking on head referee Flora. Come to think of it, hasn't he challenged Deck Knight before? Maybe he has problems with authority... Yay for speculation. Regardless, the battlers summon a frigid insect, a red canine, a pink jellyfish, and an adorable cloud beast. Oh Monohm, you so fluffy <3.

The match begins with Viceroy and Jack Knave doing a strange Highland Dance on some claymores... Where'd they come from? Who knows. But they disappear quickly, leaving the bug and the dog with a significant attack boost. Snapdragon laughs in the face of this though, and roasts Viceroy with a vicious Flamethrower which does nasty damage! That's a 4x weakness for you. Juniper finishes this first action by unleashing a bright light that intensely confuses Jack Knave, who is clearly dazed by it.

Viceroy, rather than taking advantage of his new attack boost immediately, picks up an Unown from the soup. Let's see, looks like... Unown M! And suddenly, he's floating above the platform on magnetic waves. Must've been Magnet Rise. Interesting manoeuvre, let's see how it works out. Snapdragon now gets the jump on Jack Knave, and roars loudly, causing a massive bolt of lightning to drop from the heavens themselves, smashing Viceroy even further! He's obviously in a great deal of pain, and it appears the electricity has paralysed him! What a blow to SimonSays... Adding insult to injury (or rather, injury to injury), Jack Knave promptly thumps himself in the face in confusion. I bet he regrets that attack boost from Swords Dance now! Juniper now blasts Viceroy with a deluge of boiling water! And guess what? A CRITICAL HIT! The RNG does NOT favour SimonSays today at all!

Can Viceroy and Jack Knave turn it around in the final action of the round? Snapdragon is determined they won't, as she toasts Viceroy yet again, for a heapin helpin of hurtin. Viceroy can take no more, he's down for the count! The confused Jack Knave stands alone versus the untouched Snapdragon and Juniper... He picks up an Unown too, Unown S! And a deluge of water pours down on Viceroy's unconscious form. Looks like Soak was ineffective. If only he'd won the speed tie... And then guess what, Juniper's Scald BURNS him.

PS, Flora, you need to change Monohm's DW ability to Overcoat (or is that just for Cyclohm?). Doesn't make a difference for this match though.

Round two at the Unown Soup begins with Juniper snagging Unown A before anyone can react, and calling Aqua Jet! She rushes Jack Knave, coated in water for trifling damage, but Snapdragon grabs an Unown of her own now, specifically Unown P! P for Psychic? NO! Snapdragon goes one better, using psychic energy to rip up the platform the battlers are standing on, and blast Jack Knave with the chunks! That's Mewtwo's signature move, Psystrike! He will be PISSED when he finds out... Not as pissed as Jack Knave though, who fights through is confusion and tries to grab Unown A for Aromatherapy to cure his burn, but it's been used already! He should've gone for Heal Bell... But oh well! He begins to prepare a combo attack as his last stand, as Snapdragon and Juniper launch a fusion of fire and ice at him, Flamethrower and Ice Beam striking hard. It doesn't deter him though, as he leaps into the air, soaring higher than any Riolu has ever dared... LEAPING, OUT OF ORBIT, HE AWOKE SINGING- *ahem* As he recovers from this incredible acrobatic feat/Rent reference, Snapdragon fires her lazor, blasting him back with a Hyper Beam (how does she even get that, she's a first form, the hell?), that finishes the Riolu for good.

GAME!
