I decided to post this Shoddy warstory for three reasons. Firstly, it features the Mawile anti-lead that Blue Harvest just posted about. Secondly, Noctowl is amazing. Thirdly, it's always nice to see an UU team knock down an OU team. Yes, there are plenty of mistakes made on both sides, if that gets on your nerves (oh Stepford Trainer, you) then don't bother reading. Otherwise, sit back and watch the Pokemon show.

OMG! I'm suffering from the exact opposite problem that most OU players do about UU pokemon! I recall nothing about Jirachi except that it walls... ...and doesn't it have Serene Grace? I guess this is why I should stray back in Uber/OU matches occasionally.

Okay. Let's take stock. I have a massively injured Life Orb Nidoking: little more than a suicide machine now. I still have Quagsire, and he's sturdy. I still have Cacturne, but with injuries behind him his Focus Band Counter is pwned. None of these Pokemon are at full health.
I still have to face a Gengar, a Milotic, a Gliscor - badly wounded, the worst kind - and a Jirachi. Shit.
I can hope against hope that Milotic will Hydro Pump/Surf Quagsire back to full health (Water Absorb), but otherwise I see these guys making quick work of me.

Okay, so like all my battles, it's a bit n00bish. But I think there were a few interesting events in there - there usually are with UU versus OU.
YAY!
- Mawile works pretty well against Gliscor. Never got to taste that Shuca berry, unfortunately. 65% with Ice Punch, very nice work!
- Noctowl walls and stalls Milotic very effectively.
- AmnSkeet for the battle.
NAY!
- Okay, the whole battle was pretty amateurish, but we all start somewhere, right?
- Not predicting that Lucario would kill with priority. I don't expect them to Swords Dance because they're so fragile.
