metapod would make a viable lead in an ou game...unfortunately this was not one as you used an uber, which makes it an uber battle regardless of your opponents' reciprocation (or awareness for that matter). he was also not very good at all, leaving pokemon in obvious danger as if here were a cartridge gym leader. we can't encourage warstories like that, sorry
