Challenging Flora!

Ok, I'm currently 0-2 against you in NFE battles and been whooped twice in the Battle Hall, so time to try and regain some dignity with a full powered, fully evolved battle.

Arena: Hyrule Field

That's right, our battle is transplanted to somewhere else in the Nintendo universe. In particular, it's Hyrule Field from Ocarina of Time. The battlefield is, as you might imagine, a big open field. There's rocks and grass hanging around, and even some water available thanks to the river that leads to Zora's Domain. But as anyone who has played OOT knows that time changes pretty fast in the field. Daytime performs as normal, but every third round it will turn to night for the entirety of the round. And with night, come the Stalchildren. Exactly what night time and the intruders do to the battle is entirely up to the referee, but it is sure not to be helpful.
Oh! So we can bring every fully evolved mon? SOUNDS COOL!

Accepted.

Items on because we're in the cool period now.

Here we are in the legendary Hyrule Field, it seems that peace has finally come, now that Ganon has been vanquished (for about the billionth time), and it's the perfect spot for a battle between deadfox081 and Flora. deadfox kicks things off by sending out Dracor the Dragonite. Flora responds in kind by sending out Violet the Gengar. Quick to act, Violet starts by Hypnotizing Dracor, then quickly burns her with a Will-o-Wisp. Dracor wakes up form the burn and quickly sets up a Light Screen just in time, as it manages to block most of Violet's Hidden Power. Dracor then lashes out with a powerful Dragon Claw, but winces slightly as her burn begins take its toll on her.

With her opponent's Multiscale gone, Violet goes on the offensive by launching another Hidden Power at Dracor. Thanks to her Light Screen, Dracor is able to take the hit without much trouble and retaliates with a Dragon Pulse. Dracor follows up with a Thunder Wave that hits Violet right in her chest. Wait a sec, it looks like Violet was able to set up a Substitute just in time. Violet realizes that she is not in a favourable position, and decides to even things up with a Pain Split. Dracor roars in anger, as (Draco) Meteors come crashing to the ground. Violet takes cover under her Substitute, as it blocks the attack for her, remaining intact.

The battlers look up to the sky, as the sun begins to set. As night forces itself upon the battle, the ground begins to rumble. A Stalchild then appears in front of each of the battlers. The Stalchildren then each pull out one of their rib Bonesand begins to swing it like a Club at the battlers. Dracor flies out of the reach of the Stalchild, while Violet quickly blocks the attack with her Substitute, although it shatters upon impact.
Now without her Substitute, Violet begins to Taunt Dracor. I don't really approve of those rude tactics, and neither does Dracor, who has become so enraged from the taunting that she rushes in and crashes into Violet with an Aerial Ace. Violet turns on the offensive, as she then launches another Hidden Power towards Dracor. This further Outrages Dracor, who begins to vent her frustration on Violet, dealing some massive damage! Dracor is now so exhausted from her efforts, that she is wide open to a Hex from Violet. Dracor then plummets to the ground, unable to battle any more. The score is now 4-3, but Violet looks like she could drop at any moment.
A rooster crows and the sun rises once again, cutting the the dark of again and the Stalchildren sink into the ground again.

Fearing those powerful Fire attacks, Shocta decides that it could use some Rain, so it begins to Dance wildly. Ginger can only laugh, as that water won't weaken her strongest attacks against Shocta, and she creates a powerful Earthquake, flipping Shocta on it's side. Finally able to set itself upright, Shocta gets smacked with an Earth Power from Ginger. It seems Shocta was ready for the attack, as it returns that attack twofold with a Super Mirror Coat. The Stalchildren decide to split up and they each charge their targets, Furiously Swiping at both Ginger and Shocta. Now that its Stalchild is out of the way, Shocta takes this opportunity to eat its Oran Berry.Ginger has a much easier time and she quickly sidesteps and slams the Stalchild back into the ground with a single swing of her wooden arm.
Turning back to their opponent, Shocta realizes that it is running low on Energy and it Chills. Ginger then begins to Charge Shocta. Thanks for the update, danman! :D

Okay, Ginger, clear the skies to something more favorable, seed the bug, and roast it away! Be wary of Bide though!

Sunny Day - Flamethrower - Flare Blitz
If Bide is used, used Growth throughout

deadfox sends out Smash the Heracross, hoping that the rain will be enough to negate his weakness to Ginger's Fire attacks. Appearing in a flash of light, Smash wastes no time in creating a Substitute. He must be terrified of Ginger's attacks. Giving him something else to be scared of, Ginger begins to make it a Sunny Day, boosting her Fire attacks. Ginger then unleashes a powerful Flamethrower that turns Smash into a pile of ashes. Wait, that's the substitute, Smash is right behind Ginger, and he begins to charge, Focusing all of his power into this Punch. Realizing her mistake, Ginger turns around and rushes in and smashes Smash with a powerful Flare Blitz. It looks like Smash was ready for it, as he quickly Counters and knocks Ginger out.
