Weather Monopoly
Introduction
Ever since the beginning of BW, weather has been prominent, and controversial, in OU. Is weather detrimental to the metagame? Or does it promote diversity? Perhaps the only thing keeping weather from overwhelming the metagame is that opposing weathers keep each other in check. However, it is also possible that if only one weather existed, it would be much more manageable, as one would only have to prepare for one weather when teambuilding. Perhaps it is dependent on the effects of the weather, perhaps it depends on the abusers, perhaps it depends on the inducers, perhaps it depends on the available weather checks. Most likely, though, the result will be a combination of all weathers. So to test this out, I shall be hosting a tournament, whereby each round, one sole weather rules over the tier with an iron fist. Lets look at this as a social experiment. How will you adapt to the harsh environment that is weather.

- Timed Battle
- Matches must be conducted on Pokemon Online
- Remember to keep the logs of your battles in case of discrepency
- ABSOLUTELY NO JOHNING
- Smogon OU banlist will apply, except Excadrill, who will be allowed during the Sand Round
- Each round, all weathers besides the dominating weather will be banned. This includes weather inducers, as well as the moves Sandstorm, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, and Hail
