Voting Mes mainly for the Gurdurr and Chan MU, a passive answer in Weezing makes your fightinium Mag MU a lot worse c:

Scarf Jynx offers a better Water resist as well as an Ice resist for the team and also a decent check to Carracosta. I chose scarf as the team itself lacks speed control.

Mesprit @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Dazzling Gleam
- Ice Beam

Adds a way of beating Fighting types as otherwise there's no SE moves, provides a fast mon that doesn't lose to Primeape, Healing Wish supports the rest of the team, Ground immune. All makes this mon a good choice.

Dugtrio-Alola @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Tangling Hair
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Stone Edge
- Memento

The team lacks speed control and imo struggles against z-lovely kiss Jynx, Skuntank, Oricorio-Sensu and Kangaskhan. Dugtrio-Alola is able to outspeed and revenge Jynx, Skuntank and Oricorio, and provides a steel which although isn't bulky, is still able to pivot on fake outs to threaten a weakened Kanga. It can also lure in common switch ins such as Gastrodon and Palossand and memento into Lilligant to allow for a free set up. The team supports Dugtrio-Alola by having reliable switch ins to it's checks, Palossand for fighting types with mach punch such as Gurdurr and Hitmonchan and Clefairy for water types who come in once locked into iron head.

Poliwrath @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 80 HP / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Focus Blast
- Toxic
- Vacuum Wave

The biggest and most immediate problem facing this team is that it is a balance team lacking a way of stopping SS Carracosta. To help counteract this I chose Poliwrath as the last. Special Poliwrath gives an incredibly solid Carracosta/Kabutops answer,a mon with a decent matchup vs Skuntank which also gives the team issues, and one more fire switch in for the likes of z move Magmortars and Specs Pyroar making it harder to decide what move for it to lock into. Toxic wears down common switch ins like Lanturn as well as putting opposing Lilligant on a timer so Skunk/Clefairy have an easier time dealing with it. 176 Spe is for max speed neutral natured Abomasnow which can be obnoxious for the team do deal with.
