[Overview]
- Unaware gives it a unique niche in the Little Cup metagame as it stops many set up sweepers.
- Has decent sweeping stats.
- Easily switches into Fighting/Ground-type attacks, so it's easy to fit on a team.
name: Stat Boost Counter
move 1: Substitute
move 2: Air Slash
move 3: Psycho Shock
move 4: Hidden Power Fighting
item: Life Orb / Berry Juice
ability: Unaware
nature: Timid / Modest
evs: 16 Def / 240 SpA / 16 SpD / 184 Spe
Set Description:
- Stops most stat boosters such as Dragon Dancers, Swords Dancers, Rock Polish/Agility users, Calm Mind users, and Bulk Up users because of Unaware.
- Air Slash and Psycho Shock have decent neutral coverage.
- Hidden Power Fighting hits Komatana for a clean OHKO.
- Substitute blocks Sucker Punch and status.
- Psychic can be used over Psycho Shock, but Munchlax takes much more damage from Psycho Shock.
- Hidden Power Ground is an option to hit Stunky.
- Stunky can't really switch in, but it does pose problems if it comes in when Koromori doesn't have a Substitute up.
- Munchlax beats it one versus one but it does have trouble switching in.
- Bronzor walls it.
- Misdreavus, Houndour, and other Nasty Plot users can still beat Koromori because they still OHKO it.
- A Bronzor trapper, such as Wynaut, or lure, such as Dratini, works quite well.
- Diglett traps Houndour and other dangerous Dark-types.

- Stunky can't really switch in, but it does pose problems if it comes in when Koromori doesn't have a Substitute up.

- Diglett traps Houndour and other dangerous Dark-types.
- Something to switch into Munchlax, such as Geodude or other Rock-types.
- Something to lure and possibly KO Stunky, such as Misdreavus or Gastly.
- Works well with defensive Pokemon since Koromori deals with set-up sweepers.
- Could use a Bronzor lure like Geodude or Dratini.
- Hidden Power Ground is always an option to beat Stunky.
- Stunky can't really switch in, but it does pose problems if it comes in when Koromori doesn't have a Substitute up.

- Simple would give Koromori a way to boost its Special Attack and Defense by +2 with a single Calm Mind, making it a dangerous sweeper.
