Woobat (Analysis)

    [Overview]

    • Unaware gives it a unique niche in the Little Cup metagame as it stops many set up sweepers.
    • Has decent sweeping stats.
    • Easily switches into Fighting/Ground-type attacks, so it's easy to fit on a team.

    • Psychic can be used over Psycho Shock, but Munchlax takes much more damage from Psycho Shock.

    • Stunky can't really switch in, but it does pose problems if it comes in when Koromori doesn't have a Substitute up.
    • Munchlax beats it one versus one but it does have trouble switching in.
    • Bronzor walls it.
    • Misdreavus, Houndour, and other Nasty Plot users can still beat Koromori because they still OHKO it.
    • A Bronzor trapper, such as Wynaut, or lure, such as Dratini, works quite well.
    • Diglett traps Houndour and other dangerous Dark-types.

    • Hidden Power Ground is always an option to beat Stunky.
    [Counters]

    • Simple would give Koromori a way to boost its Special Attack and Defense by +2 with a single Calm Mind, making it a dangerous sweeper.

    I think Charge Beam, Trick Room and Energy Ball should go in Optional Changes. It's a shame it doesn't doesn't learn Trick. Klutz can be really annoying if you play it right.

    TorchicBlaziken I don't think they confirmed those names, but yeah, it's supposed to evolve into Swoobat. Plus, I think Psych Up should get a mention so you can get some defense from Bulk Uppers and such, plus get useful boosts from Calm Minders. Maybe slashed into Psycho Shock's slot since Air Slash and Hidden Power Fighting hit everything in Little Cup for neutral damage

    Oh wow, that totally sucks. I wouldn't want this to be named Woobat. That's unfortunate.
