I wasn't expecting that much damage, but STAB proved me wrong. I'll try a OHKO Thunderpunch.

Demonz swapped Lapras for Tyranitar.
A sandstorm brewed.
Electivire used Thunderpunch! (40%)
Electivire took damage from the Storm

Wow, he didn't want to take the punch, so he bought out the Ttar. Sandstorm isn't too bad for me. I'll try and kill it.

Electivire used Cross Chop! (60%)
Tyranitar fainted!
Electivire took damage from the Storm

Thank god for that. Ttar could have sweeped my team.

6-5 Chase

Demonz sent out Heatran!

Electivire used Earthquake! (OHKO%)

Heatran sucks balls without Scarf. So my 'vire made short work of it.

Ah well. 'vire took out the big threats I suppose.

5-4 Chase

Chase sent out Umbreon!

Demonz switched gengar for Hariyama

I didn't know he'd carry this. I need to switch now!

Hariyama used Close Combat!
But it failed...

I chose to protect to check out his moves. If he's going to CC, I'll counter it with a more powerful Air Slash!

Shocked by how much damage this did, later I found out it had a Black Belt. But still, time to try and OHKO it.

Stupid freaking switching and sandstorm. I have to kill it otherwise I die too.

Phew, I killed it, but I died too, so what, at least I got rid of some more threats.

Thank god for that, Zapdos is on little health, and I just hope he dies next turn.

THANK ARCEUS! Zapdos died from the Sandstorm and I died too. Jirachi can clean this up.

Damn him. If he used Close Combat, I would have been near dead, so I'm lucky. Jirachi resists sandstorms, so I have no worries here.

He was saying it wasn't over, and when I saw him use Endure, he was right, but I knew the sandstorm would screw him so I left him be.

Why were all the Pokemon taking 10% damage from the Sandstorm? I was sure it was always 1/16th of the max HP.

Before i read it, i want to let you know how much i appreciate you for putting (60%)/(70%) in places. It's great warstory etiquette, as sometimes i get lost with all the shoddylogs around.

EDIT: it's okay. It's not a horrible battle, but not one that should've been written down. Endrev on a Sandstream team is dumb as dumb can be, but you held your own. Of course, he made dumb decisions, like not CC'ing you when he would've died, leaving heatran in without scarf, etc.

Thankyou. But that's the first wifi battle where I've been challenged properly. (The last was a 5-0 sweep).

Ok, my first warstory, don't expect it to be good.

This turned me off right here. If you're not expecting your warstory to be good, why are you bothering to make it in the first place? Starting off making excuses isn't the right way to get things done. Also, the advertising for N seems out of place, but w/e. Shop Target.

Anyway, it was a pretty good battle on your end, but your opponent made a large number of questionable moves - not predicting a fighting attack on T-tar and switching in Gengar (though that's forgivable), sending in a slower Heatran to challenge your Vire, and having the slowest Gengar set I've ever seen (outsped by non-driven Electivire?). The Endure Hariyama was just painful.

All in all, not quite the battle I'd choose to write a warstory about. It would be nice to have a little more log about predictions and reasoning behind making game-changing switches/moves, but in this battle there wasn't really much of either.

Can't say too much about how you played, however Demonz played horribly. Endure with T-Tar on his team? Starting off attempthing to Ice-Beam Jirachi (2x resist)? Wait what?

I mean, Jirachi should have switched out for possible Sing, Surf or whatever. But Ice-Beam?
