From what I've been hearing, the legendaries in this game (Xerneas and Yveltal) have near perfect IV's when caught. Can anyone else confirm this?

Could you possibly post the stats of your Xerneas so we can find out what are the highest possible stats for it?

^ Hi! I'm super new here, but I think I've got some information to share about Xerneas. I saw in another thread that 3 of the stats of Xerneas were to be flawless upon capture, so I thought I would do some investigation (as well as I'm trying to SR it to something acceptable). My method thus far is that I've caught Xerneas several times (SR) and noted down its stats each time. After about 5 times, a "pattern" emerged, as if the above (with 3 stats being flawless or at least predominantly upcoming) was true. These are the highest stats that I got for each stat so far:

HP/Atk/Def/SpA/SpDef/Speed : 201/ 151/ 115/ 151/ 118/ 119

Assuming these are 31 IV stats, you can probably calculate the base stat with more precision! (I have corrected for natures each time, so don't worry about that).

EDIT: Not new per se, but I created my account a while back, and just ignored it until now. (In case anyone wonders)

Well, I hope this helps:

Xerneas
Lax, mischievous
HP 201 (31)
Atk 145
Def 126
SpA 151 (31)
SpD 100
Spe 107

Naive, likes to thrash about
HP 192
Atk 151 (31)
Def 115 (31)
SpA 139
SpD 106
Spe 123 (31)

!! I guess this really could be true!
I honestly hope it happens with the other legendaries as well

According to the above stats, my assumption is still true. Just wanted to point out that you partially denoted 31 Ivs to the wrong stats. In the first example, you missed the 3rd stat that is 31 IVs: Speed. 119*0.9=107 (Lax nature)
In the second example, it isn't speed that has 31 IVs, but actually SpD: 118*0.9=106 (Naive Nature). (The speed IV, if you look closely is pretty average (I think) because of the 10% nature increase)

In the same thread, I've heard it should be similar for the other legendaries, but someone else has to confirm it, as I'm still SR for a good Xerneas at the moment :(

EDIT: Looked around in the Ylvetal thread and it has apparently been confirmed to be the same as for Xerneas.

Yeah I just got a Timid one with 130 speed, so I guess that's the 31?
Where can I check the IVs anyway? I wanna know how much 148 spA is since 151 is 31.

The one I currently have stands at
201 hp
123 atk
113 def
148 spa
118 spd
130 spe

Lax lowers Special Defense. Relaxed lowers Speed.
That is true. Sorry about that! I really don't want to discuss about Serperior being wrong but I do believe he put down Lax instead of Relaxed or some mistake, because I don't see it in any other way, as it always are at least 3 flawless IVs, and this means that it has to be the speed stat that is reduced!

Count Serperior: Yes it is! 119*1.1 (floored to the nearest stat point) = 130
148 is about 24-25 in IVs. My source: http://www.serebii.net/games/ivs.shtml
(Remember that the difference from the perfect stat is actually around the double the difference at Lv. 100, this includes both IVs and Stats on screen)
You have to have 151 for a neutral stat, 135 for a reducing nature and 166 for a positive nature.
The other two that are perfect IVs are HP and SpDef.
Hope this helps :)

Couldn't find this anywhere in the search and not sure where to give this information. I verified that defeating Xerneas in the first battle and then saving does not lock it's stats/nature. This lets you more quickly reset to try and get an ideal nature and IV spread. Should work the same with Y.
