Alright, Jack. Let's stay on the defensive with Battle Armor.

How the eff does a Slowpoke learn Flamethrower? Ah, heck. Regardless, let's see what we can do, since we at least have a STAB type advantage. Let's start things off with Swords Dance, and then pelt it with Pin Missile and Night Slash.

On you marks, get set, LittleCup! Jack the Skorupi, with the clear advantage in speed over Lag the Slowpoke (hence both of its namesakes), decided it would be best to do a little Swords Dance to get pumped for this round of actions. Lag had a different idea in mind, and loosed a Flamethrower from nowhere, sizzling Jack to a crisp and giving him quite a burn.

Jack then turned on the offensive, using his advantage as a Bug type to hit Lag squarley with 5 Pin Missiles! After the delay between the hit and the pain, the pain and the reaction to the pain, and finally the thought of wanting to do something about it, Lag sprayed forth a stream of water. Would it cool Jack's burn down? No, we're all about burning up Bugs here, so the water was Scalding!

For it's final trick of the round, Jack cut into Lag with Night Slash, but without it's evolution's STAB, and with the burn, it barely did anything while the Flamethrower that followed charred the little bug further!
