Overview
########

+Great Physical Defence + Ghost typing is excellent for stopping Normal/Fighting Types
+Mummy removes Guts/Regenerator/Skill Link etc
+Movepool allows for setting up a sweep.
+Good for Trick Room teams because of awful speed
-Awful speed
-Vulnerable to prevalent Ghost- and Dark-type moves
-Low base HP can become an issue with a lacklustre recovery option.

Support
########
name: Support
move 1: Memento
move 2: Will-O-Wisp
move 3: Shadow Ball / Hex / Knock Off
move 4: Pain Split
ability: Mummy
item: Eviolite
evs: 52 HP / 236 Def / 156 SpD / 36 Spe
nature: Calm

Moves
========
  • Shadow Ball is main STAB move
  • Hex could be used as alternate STAB, synergizing well with Will-O-Wisp.
  • Instead of STAB moves, Knock Off might be preferable to make Yamask a better supporter.
  • Pain Split as recovery and minor damage.

Set Details
========
  • Max Def + Bold nature because Defensive wall
  • HP evs for overall Defence.
  • 76 SpD to reach the next Eviolite tier
  • Remaining evs in speed to outspeed some threats/walls (like Croagunk/Lickitung)
  • Eviolite to boost defences
Usage Tips
========

  • Will-o-Wisp should be the first move to use, destroying Attack reliant Pokemon.
  • Memento can be used mid- to late-game to set up a sweep once hard counters to your sweeper have been removed.
  • Memento does so much for setting up that it can, in itself, be removal of those counters.
  • Yamask should rarely go against a Special Sweeper because of it's mediocre Special Defence and terrible Speed.

Team Options
========
  • Normal-, Steel- and Rock-Types appreciate Fighting-Type walling
  • Memento helps set-up sweepers to fully-set up
  • Yamask welcomes Wish support to allow constant switch-ins (Lickitung also acts as Fighting-Type bait)
  • Pawniard can act as a counter to Yamask's Ghost-type weakness (as well as being bait)
Other Options
########

  • Trick could be used with Choice Specs to upset Attack-based Pokemon, and coupled with Magic Coat Yamask can be used as hazard removal of a sort.
  • Yamask can work as an Offensive Trick Room setter, with Nasty Plot, STAB Shadow Ball, and Energy Ball for coverage.
  • HP Fighting gives Yamask unresisted coverage, as well as hitting some of Yamask's checks like Pawniard and Scraggy for decent damage.
  • Destiny Bond is an option for threat removal.
  • Knock Off could replace Shadow Ball for an even more supporting role.

Checks & Counters
########

  • Dark- and Ghost-Types such as Pawniard, Scraggy, and Gastly counter Yamask because of it's low speed and typing.
  • Before getting burnt, Pawniard and Scraggy get guaranteed 2HKO's on Yamask with Knock Off + removing Eviolite.

Probably don't add TR as a set. It's a total gimmick, but it certainly warrants a mention in OO, as you have done.

Add HP Fighting to OO as a way of nailing Pawniard too, KOs Scarf variants, hits Scraggy as well, plus it gets unresistrd coverage.

I don't agree with hex having the first slash over Shadow Ball. Shadow Ball is more reliable than Hex, the damage difference is trite, but you're probably missing out on 2HKOes. (don't quote me)

Change the set EVs to 52 HP / 236 Def / 156 SpD / 36 Spe Calm; this nets you two Eviolite numbers at the cost of only one point of HP.

Mention Knock Off, Magic Coat TrickSpecs and Destiny Bond in OO as well

this doesn't wall fighting types really, so remove mentions of that. use the avalanches's ev spread cuz it hits evio numbers. also, pawniard and scraggy are dark-types, so they should be mentioned as examples of dark types that counter yamask, not given a separate section. 1/3 after this is done

Overview:
Yamask doesn't actually do a very good job at stopping Fighting-types, so get rid of that.
Say that Memento, not "Movepool", is good for setting up a sweep.

Moves:
Explain what Memento and Will-O-Wisp are for.

Usage Tips:
Mention to try not to burn Guts Pokemon for the Will-O-Wisp point.
21/16 is actually pretty good, so remove the point on Yamask not going up against special attackers.

Team Options:
Yamask doesn't wall Fighting-types, so remove the first point.
Use Spritzee as an example of a Wishpasser instead of Lickitung because Yamask doesn't actually beat Fighting-types so it doesn't help Lickitung that much, but Spritzee can beat most users of Dark-type attacks except for Pawniard.
Pawniard doesn't "counter" a Ghost-type weakness; instead, say that Pawniard can act as a check to Ghost-types. Don't say that it's bait because Yamask doesn't beat Fighting-types.

Other Options:
Mention that Yamask is usually too slow to utilize Destiny Bond effectively.
Remove Knock Off because it's already in the main set.

Good work
