Persian [Hiss!] (F)
Nature: Naughty +1 in attack -1 in Sp.Def
Type: Normal
Normal STAB: adapt comfortably to any surrounding after 3 actions. Able to use Outrage without losing focus.
Abilities:
Limber:Type: Innate This Pokemon’s body is well trained and immune to paralysis. P
Technician: (Innate) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects.[/SIZE]
Unnerve (DW) (Unlocked): (Innate) The Pokemon's presense causes immense tension in the opponent, preventing them from eating a held Berry. Natural Gift may still be used.

Abilities:

I forgot to prefix this, could a mod please edit it? Thanks and sorry.

AthenoEDIT: jsyk you can still prefix after creating. Go to 'Advanced Options' when you try to edit the OP and it's at the top.

You're supposed to put these things in the OP (and since Yarnus and I have never battled before it's not a re-match, it's just a match):

Objection is in the mood for a fairly quick battle.

2v2 doubles
2 recovers/5 chills/2 substitutions
20-30 move FEs (or you can bring NFEs but I'll be bringing FEs)
3-day DQ
Arena: Protegas' Sanctuary
A 50ft-by-50ft stone temple for the relatively unknown deity Protegas that provides protection to those who seek it. The room is lit by torches that provide ample light. There is a fountain in one of the walls that provides a water source for moves like Surf. Although the arena is set indoors, the roof is ruined enough to allow weather moves to work. Despite being ancient, the temple still has a relatively strong structure that allows seismic moves like Earthquake to be used. The floor can be dug through as well and, over the centuries, some plant life has broken through the floor, allowing non-grass-types to use moves like Grass Knot.

At the beginning of every round, Protegas will protect any pokemon he feels is being ganged up on. A pokemon is considered to be ganged up on if it is targeted by:
  • At least four enemy single-target moves
  • Three enemy single-target moves and at least two enemy multi-target moves
  • Two enemy single-target moves and four enemy multi-target moves
  • Six enemy moves, whether they are single-target, multi-target or a combination of the two
Note: this is done by the commands issued and stuff like Encore and Disable changing a pokemon's moves will not affect this, but substitutions will. Substitutions cannot be made based on whether or not an opponent's pokemon gets the barrier.

Any pokemon that meets any of those criteria will be given a protective barrier for that round. The barrier is treated as a 20 HP typeless pokemon with the same rank defences as the pokemon it is protecting. The barrier protects the pokemon from all effects of enemy attacks and will disappear once it runs out of HP, is hit by two enemy non-damaging moves or at the end of the round, whichever comes first. The barrier will not protect from any spillover damage (so an attack that does 25 damage will destroy the barrier and do 5 damage to the target). The barrier will not protect a pokemon from allied attacks that hit it, nor will it be affected by allied attacks. In battles with more than one active pokemon per team, a last pokemon standing will always receive Protegas' barrier at the start of a round unless every team is down to its last pokemon.
Objection, time for a re-match!

Anyway, since it's a 2v2 doubles, I'll send out Madam Mim the Emolga and Ratigan the Raticate out at the same time. Ratigan will be equipped with an Exp. Share while Madam Mim will hold an Amulet Coin.

Okay, whatever, I though I remembered you creaming my nfes with a nindorino, but maybe that was EndQuote.

EDIT: Doesn't say it in the Calcs but I changed everything in the Post-Round stats

Due to Yarnus' substitution, Emolga was targeted by four single-target moves so should've gotten the barrier that protects it from Persian's Taunt (on both action 1 and action 2 - read the arena description). As a result, Emolga should be at +2 speed and not taunted and Electro Ball should have 12 BAP. But yes, initially Persian is faster than Emolga.

EDIT: Orders time!

Madam Mim: Thunderbolt (Fearow) - Electro Ball (Fearow) - Hidden Power (Persian)
The first time Persian uses Hypnosis, change that action to Taunt (Persian) and push actions back.
If Fearow uses Bide on action 1 and is not KO'd by the end of action 2, change action 3 to Combo: Quick Attack + Spark (Fearow).

Ratigan: Wild Charge (Emolga) - Focus Energy - Giga Impact (Persian)
If Persian uses Taunt on you on action 1 or action 2, change action 2 to Hyper Fang (Persian).
If Persian uses Dig on action 3, change action 3 to Sucker Punch (Persian).

RATTICATE DIED AND IS SMASHED UP BY SKY ATTACK

Multihit attacks don't work like that in ASB, sadly. You simply multiply the number of hits by the base BP and treat it as one attack. I still should KO it, though. Emolga just gets more HP.

Indeed. The regular Fury Swipes vs Emolga should do (3*3+3+6-1.5)=16.5 damage and the super Fury Swipes combo should do (3*3*2.25+3+6-3)=26.25 damage. The reason why it's 3*3 not 2*3 is Technician. Also Emolga should be at +3 speed due to Raticate activating her Motor Drive.

Emolga's speed detiorates at the end of the round, so she is at (2). Also, would Fearow get the KOC then? And Fixed.
Firstly, no, Motor Drive's description states that "This boost is maintained at the end of each round." This means that it does not decay.

Secondly, yes, it means Fearow would get the KOC if it is the Sky Attack combo that KO'd Raticate.

Emolga's speed detiorated the round she used agility.
it went like this:
At the end if round 1, she was at (1), now she was added (1) and it was kept. So she is at (2)

No, at the end of round 1, Emolga was at +2 because Agility was the second action she used, meaning that her boost did not decay that round. A +2 boost only decays in the round it was used if it was used on the first action of that round and the user had no speed boosts at the time. Therefore, at the end of round 1, she was at +2, and then she added +1 and it locked the stat boost in, meaning she is now at +3.

This is why, when using +2 boosters of any kind, it is always best to use them on the second action of a round. They remain at +2 for more actions that way.

Peck!
Chill, Roost, Return
Hiss-
Fury Swipes+Fury Sepies, cooldown, Return
If protective/evasive, work up and push down, not consecutively

Edit: pcooldown a1, and push actions down

Just saying, both your mons used combos on the last action of the last round so they're both forced to cooldown on action 1 of this round.

EDIT: So you're saying Fearow goes Cooldown - Chill - Roost, and Persian goes Cooldown - Combo: Fury Swipes + Fury Swipes - Cooldown, yes?

And the energy cost of that Fury Swipes combo is going to be ((12+16)*1.75-1)=48 energy and will do (3*number of hits*2.25+3+(4-1)*1.5)=between 21 and 41.25 damage, plus 1 per crit ... hmm ...

Electro Ball (Fearow) - Roost - Electro Ball (Fearow)

Hopefully this is the last round. Remind me never to ref doubles ever again.

Emolga used Electro Ball on Fearow!

Congrats Objection! You have won the match!

Objection: 2 CC
Yarnus: 1 CC
Emolga: 3 MC, 2KOC
Ratticate: 4 MC
Persian: 3 MC, 1 KOC
Fearow: 3 MC
Me: 4 UC (only4)

Actually, since Emolga dealt the last damage to Persian as well as Fearow, it should get 2 KOC. Also the thread tag needs changing to Completed, and it was Ratigan who got the Exp Share so he should get 4 MC and Emolga should get 3 MC and 2 KOC. You also missed the CC prizes - Yarnus gets 1 and I get 2 due to Amulet Coin.
