Vaporeon (F) @ Leftovers

Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Haze
- Wish

- Toxic

Stops Suicune completely, slows Snorlax down (haze away, stall with wish, if I do get killed he should have no boosts and I can blow forry on him or trickband him or whatever) Also helps against BP teams, and random stuff that needs to be hazed.

I got a flying resist now in Zapdos, yay.
 
I honestly hate CBzappy. I'd personally never touch the thing, ever, but if it works for you, then meh.

I like pumps on pert, try it out and see which one you prefer.

On Flygon, you can go with HP Grass over Sub/FB for pert, since your only real counter atm is Milo.

As you said, you have no "true" flying resist so gyara may be a problem. You have no "true" sp. taker too, so I suggest making Zappy a RTer (added sturdiness will help with gyara) and ditching Milo for bliss/lax.

Because I hate Blissey. Fire a few thunderbolts and BPs, and when Blissey's low on HP later in the game... BAM!

This may kill a couple out of surprise, but other Zapdos variants are more practical, especially seeing as it's your only flying resist

I haven't ran into trouble with it yet, but I noticed I got no flying resist (other than a -Def Zapdos, lol)... any ideas? Or is Forry a nice enough stopper... And anything else I missed that tears this team up?
First things first, you can't switch into a CB HP flying which is a massive problem. I don't see the need for both Milotic and Swampert, seeing how both take out t-tar equally, I would drop one, probably Pert and get some proper Flying resist. Also, find a way of dealing with Curse/DoubleEdge/Restalk Lax as you can't really do jackshit to it
 
I like hp ground on CBdos to suprise electrics it really doesnt do much outside of that though. I tend to use drill peck and thunderbolt way more then hp fighting when I do use it.
 
K, switched out CBDos for a restalker, Vap's a better hazer than Pert (right?) and now I'm wondering if I'm lacking a bit on the physical side...
 
Uh, why would you go with Vappy>Pert if you're only looking for a Hazer? Pert can roar well enough imo. Unless you're afraid of last poke curselax or w/e...
 
Your Sleep Talking Zapdos should have Leftovers obviously, not Choice Band. I prefer Calm natured ones, it needs all Ice Beam resistance it can get. You could also try to stack Defense, of course.

Thunderpunch on Alakazam is too useless compared to its many other moves in my opinion. All it gets is Starmie, Slowbro and Gyarados really. At least Ice Punch gets Claydol, Flygon and Salamence. But I'd say HP Water or Focus Punch Alakazam scores most nowadays, with Tyranitar EVERYWHERE, Houndoom being around and Blissey being a staple as ever.

I'd say Flygon should be more defensive for these HP Grass Electrics, I use nearly max HP myself. Up to you though.

Vaporeon's Special Defense EVs are useless, just pour them into HP or Speed.
 
Yeah, Curselax and CMcune get me a bit nervous, other than dumping zam's CB if he still has it, iono... Also, Haze stops BP teams better (don't like playing them, but just in case, I have a better chance to win)

If there's something that can help the team more than Vap at stopping these sweeper threats, help! Hehe

And funny, I usually notice stuff like psychic hitting most normal waters about the same lol. Thanks for pointing that out. Since Swampert (Vaporeon and Forretress too I guess) are pretty cool about jumping in against Salamence and Flygon and such, I think I'll go HP Grass on Zam for yet another generation of Swampert-killing (also hits Starmie and Claydol and Tyranitar kinda, way cool!)

I like using Flygon more offensively (favorite poke, like him getting all the glory), so I'll think I'll keep my EV spread.

Psychic, dragon, and dark are relatively rare, I'm not staying in against electric and grass, I resist water, fire, and ice... yup those SDef EVs are useless lol. Is there anything in Vaporeon's speed range that I should care about?
