Cute Charm: (Innate) This Pokemon’s natural cuteness causes Pokemon of the opposite gender to be attracted to it 30% of the time after striking with a contact move.

Technician: (Innate) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their one-hit or two-hit attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power on each hit multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, Double Hit to from 4 per hit to 6 per hit etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects. Technician only applies to combos in the rare case that an initial hit will have 6 or less BAP.

Zheng's Little Ones
Chikorita - Wendy (F)

They say the calmest waters often hide the most turbulent undercurrents, the stillest air often the premonition to the most terrible storms. So does Wendy. She's nice and pretty, often the team's peacemaker (pacemaker too), but her spirit is indomitable. In battle, Wendy wields the very force of nature itself - the plants and the wind that blows between leaves are her primary defences. Wendy is very trusting of strangers, despite Charla's frequent rebulks, but the fact that they're inseparable makes most Daycare visitors hesitate - except for Zheng. Wendy looks upon Natsu and Gray as big brothers, and they respond in kind - protective of their siblings as if of the same lineage.

Nature: Calm (+1 SpD, -1 Atk)

Type:
Grass type:
Grass STAB; immunity to Leech Seed and Worry Seed. 50% reduction in status effect chance of oncoming "powder" attacks. More mobile in areas with strong natural light sources. Superior senses in tall grass and forest areas. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Overgrow
Type: Innate
When this Pokemon’s HP is lower than 33% (flat), the Base Attack Power of any grass attack is increased by two (2).

Ability 2: Leaf Guard (DW)
Type: Innate
In bright sunlight, the Pokemon is surrounded by a faint green glow. The glow protects it from all permanent and temporary status conditions.

Staryu - Charla (U)

Charla is Wendy's closest friend and confidante since Daycare. Witty, and quick to learn the ways of the world, Charla did not trust Zheng at first sight, naturally, and disapproves of Natsu and Gray's loud brawls every other minute they were together. Charla looks out for Wendy, not afraid to stand up to bigger, meaner Pokemons, and its that precise quality she sees in Zheng's group that warms her up to the team. Charla is very touchy, resisting most physical contacts except with Wendy, retaliating with swift hit-and-run tactics whenever approached thus.

Nature: Modest (+1 SpA, -1 Atk)

Type:
Water type: Water STAB; Can breathe and have excellent mobility when underwater, are less capable on land unless they are entirely amphibious.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Illuminate
Type: Can be Activated
When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intense light that blinds all opponents, reducing their Accuracy stage by one (1) at the cost of 5 EN. The accuracy drop will last six (6) actions after the Pokemon is released. (Command - Ability: Illuminate)

Ability 2: Natural Cure
Type: Innate
This Pokemon’s body has the ability to heal itself of status afflictions over time, it goes into effect six (6) actions after being inflicted with a status. In switch battles, this Pokemon heals all status effects when switched out.

Ability 3: Analytic (DW)
Type: Innate

Rebble - Erza (F)

A swordsman wields the blade with graceful precision, just as Erza uses her attacks with dangerous beauty. She walked in on one of Gray and Natsu’s brawls, and the resulting free-for-all wore on for half a day before Zheng can subdue her with a Pokeball. Unknowingly for her, that fight left a lasting impression on the two – they’re cautious almost to the point of fearful whenever in her company since then. Wendy and Charla looks up to her as a role model, though, and it was Erza who took care of them, even though she was newer to the family.

Nature: Modest (+1 SpA, -1 Atk)

Type:
Rock type: Rock STAB; Take 2 less damage from all special attacks during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Levitate
Type: Innate
This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading certain seismic moves such as Earthquake, Bulldoze, and Magnitude. Other Ground moves can still hit.

Ability 2: Technician
Type: Innate
This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their attacks that normally deal 6 or below base damage to have their base damage multiplied by 1.5. The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) damage, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2).

Ability 3: Mold Breaker (DW)
Type: Innate
Whenever this Pokemon attacks, it emits an invisible, blindingly quick pulse preceding the attack that disables the opponents natural abilities (e.g. Levitators plummet towards the ground before Earthquake hits, Volt Absorb will not absorb electric attacks, Clear Body does not prevent stat-drops, etc.)

Ralts - Lucy (F)

Born without a family in the wild, Lucy’s life has been fraught with peril of being hunted and bullied by most other wild, stronger Pokemon. One such incident left her under severe shock from poison by an unknown aggressive Poison-type. Had a trainer not happened by, she would’ve died or at best, crippled for life. Luckily, Zheng was the second trainer to found her, called by a fellow trainer who was looking for mushrooms in that region. Together they saved the Ralts, and after s brief discussion Zheng named her Lucy and brought her into his family. Gray was the first to be able to contact directly with her, but it was through efforts and enthusiasm of the whole gang that brought her out of trauma and into life again.

Nature: Relaxed (+1 Def, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion)

Type:
Psyichic type: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks, however, cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Synchronize
Type: Innate
This Pokemon can mentally link their condition to an opposing Pokemon and pass on any status inflicted on them to their foe. Poison-types cannot be poisoned and Fire-types cannot be burned in this manner.

Ability 2: Trace
Type: Can be Activated
When entering into battle, this Pokemon can copy an ability on one of its opponents for 6 EN. The Ability remains on the Pokemon for six (6) actions. Trace can be reused with an action later in battle for 5 EN.Wonder Guard cannot be Traced.

Ability 3: Telepathy (DW)
Type: Innate
This Pokemon creates a mental link with its allies in multiple allies, allowing it to avoid taking damage from attacks that affect the whole field like Earthquake and Surf.

Going three against a Monohm. Failed to win the last two. And they say third time's the charm. Let's make it work. And really, soup is great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Let's go girls (seriously, I have an all girls team here, so yeah.) Charla and Lucy, remember to have fun! Oh, and I'm a poor soul so I can't give my girls any items unless it's allowed for people to loan me any :(

"Keep your pride, and you'd better check on Gray and Natsu - they'll be at each others' throats soon enough."

"Oh, a Poison-type... For their sake, I must hold on! Charla seems much more confident..."

"Overcast @ EXP Share and Kerchief @ Lucky Egg, its up to you. Boy are three subs excessive in a match like this but we might as well use them!"

Overcast: Thunderbolt (Charala) > Unown Frenzy Plant (Charla) > Dragon Rage (Lucy)
IF
Charla is under the effects of Protective/Evasive action when you would target it THEN Thunderbolt (Lucy) and push actions back
IF Unown F is unavailable when you come to use it THEN use Unown Solar Beam instead

Kerchief: Unown Dark Void > Swift (Lucy) > Tail Slap (Lucy)
IF
Unown D is unavailable when you come to use it THEN use Unown Bolt Strike (Charla) instead
IF Lucy is under the effects of Protective/Evasive action when you would target it THEN redirect to Charla

Oh no you don't. I'm definitely not going to stand by while you put my girls to sleep with intention to take advantage of them. Shame on you, Kerchief-Minccino, when you're a lady-in-waiting yourself, chaperoned by such a gentlemanly elder. And I did ask for a thinking match - hence we're standing above a cauldron of bubbling stew with three bits of wits about us to prepare for almost every contingency. But that Technical Skill you have with your tail is quite intriguing. Let's see if Lucy-Ralts can Trace that while Charla-Staryu dazzles you with her brilliance!

"Better make sure Wendy and the others have an easier time. Though Erza can probably do this better."

"May I have this dance for you, young miss? We could learn much from each other."

Charla-Staryu [Activate Ability - Illuminate] : Scald (Kerchief-Monohm) > Unown Mirror Coat > Aurora Beam (Overcast-Monohm)
IF Unown Frenzy Plant missed Charla-Staryu A2, THEN replace A2 with Aurora Beam (Overcast-Monohm)
Lucy-Ralts [Activate Ability - Trace Technician Minccino] : Unown Wide Guard > Will-O-Wisp (Kerchief-Minccino) > Icy Wind (Both)
IF Kerchief-Minccino is already Burned at A1, THEN redirect to Overcast-Monohm

Well, it appears that we have some speed advantage for now. Let's see if the fates favour us totally. But in the meantime, let's do something about Overcast-Monohm's annoying shocks. Also, we need to ensure my girls' longetivity. By my calculations, this should bring them both to knockout range by the next round, and after that things should go a lot smoother. Alright, Charla-Staryu, let's try tossing Kerchief-Minccino into the soup with your Psychic attack. Hopefully the stew will drench her fur and make her a better conductor to future Electric-type attacks. (You better acknowledge this even if you didn't approve, Box.)

EDIT : Tail Slap from Kerchief-Minccino minus Burn nerf (-3 BPA) 1 less damage. Sorry nitpick.

"No ref should put words into my mouth. Time to set the record and show Wendy that cloud dragons are not invulnerable."

"Doing fine as always, Charla - impressive posture! Now remember to go through the steps slowly - take it easy."

Charla-Stayu : Unown Imprison (Thunderbolt, Swift, Thunder Wave) > Aurora Beam (Overcast-Monohm) > Aurora Beam (Overcast-Monohm)
IF Charla-Staryu is targeted with Snatch A1 THEN use Unown Ice Beam (Overcast-Monohm) instead at A1.
IF Charla-Staryu is Tormented THEN replace A3 with Swift (both).

Lucy-Ralts : Heal Pulse (Charla-Staryu) > Icy Wind (both) > Icy Wind (both)
IF Lucy-Ralts is targeted with Taunt THEN use Unown Protect and push remaining actions back.

IF Lucy-Ralts is targeted with Snatch THEN use Icy Wind (both) and push remaining actions back.
IF Lucy-Ralts is Tormented THEN replace second instance of Icy Wind with Confusion (Kerchief-Minccino).

"I think it is me doing the healing today and not you. Sorry friend."

Box sends out pokemon
Oy, that was supposed to be me. Minccino should be back to normal speed, and deadfox was right - Heal Block only affects my team, though I don't know about the Imprison thing...

Anyway, I'm sending out Wendy-Chikorita.

"Charla's sacrifice must not be in vain.."

EDIT: According to C$FP on IRC, Imprison does expire when the user faints. So bad for me :(

My understanding of Imprison is basically an aura that a mon lets out preventing opponents from using a certain number of moves that said mon knows. Hence why it is able to effect both of my mons. I'll hold off on ordering until this is confirmed.

1) I misread the Heal Block description. Fixed.

2) Imprison is a target-self attack. If the "self" targetted goes back to the pokeball, whatever effect it had goes with it. So no Imprison. Fixed.

3) I don't know why I put Box <_>

"Okay then, lets capitalise on this strong position."

Overcast: Unown Shadow Force (Lucy) > Flamethrower (Wendy) > Thunderbolt (Lucy)
IF
Unown S is unavailable THEN use Unown Night Daze (Lucy)

Kerchief: Swift > Unown Bug Buzz (Lucy) > Swift
IF
Lucy uses Protective/Evasive action THEN use Unown Pursuit (Lucy)

A strong position, you say? Well they do say there are all forms of strength, and ordering second is always a strength of the mind. Time to turn your Pursuing tactics against you, by Protecting Lucy herself.

"Zheng..."

No, I'm not going to risk you when Charla's already fainted.

"What are you two talking about?"

"Letting you poison me, Wendy."

Again, no. Listen, Charla's condition has nothing to do with your-

"But it's the only way to make sure her sacrifice is not in vain! I've tapped and Synchronized their subconscious, this, will, work!"

"Zheng, it may be-"

Not you too, Wendy!

"But I can still protect Lucy! This is what you trained me for - to defend and to guard. Trust her in this. Trust me."

Wendy-Chikorita: Light Screen > PoisonPowder (Lucy-Ralts) > Magical Leaf (Kerchief Minccino)
Lucy-Ralts: Confusion (Kerchief-Minccino) > Chill > Unown Protect

I probably should've read Bulbapedia and Veekun more, but DAT's description is so damned foggy. Also, Mincccino's Swift should've dealt (9*0.75)+3+(3-3) = 9.75 damage to Ralts A1, resulting in 22 HP after the round (I know, only one extra HP, but I'm about that desperate).

Still, placeholder for my actions. (EDIT: Okay no need to wait for that one extra HP, time to go suicidal. At least this one will be a 2-0 at least)
And thus we all crossed our fingers, crossed our heart, held our palms together. The odds are even, but I'm backed and will not falter. Lucy, remember to use your last energies as should be. I... I'm not what you wished for in a trainer.

"It's okay, we'll be alright. It's not that bad to lose fairly, when we are going against a Pike victor..."

"Hey... Shh... I chose to go my way. That's how we live, right? Fall back down, and choose to get back up again. Besides, there's Erza."

Wendy-Chikorita: Magical Leaf (Kerchief-Minccino) > PoisonPowder (Overcast-Monohm) > AncientPower (Overcast-Monohm)
IF Kerchief-Minccino is under the effects of Protective/Evasive actions A1, THEN replace orders with PoisonPowder (Overcast-Monohm) > Magical Leaf (Kerchief Minccino) > AncientPower (Overcast-Monohm)
Lucy-Ralts: Teleport + Icy Wind {Key of Aquarius: Swift Tidal Freeze!!} (both) > combo cooldown (Chill) > Confusion (Overcast-Monohm)
IF Kerchief-Minccino is under the effects of Protective/Evasive actions A1, THEN replace orders with Confusion (Overcast-Monohm) > Teleport + Icy Wind {Key of Aquarius: Swift Tidal Freeze!!} (both) > combo cooldown (Chill)

"Well that combo seems all kinds of ridiculous, but no sense taking any chances."

Overcast: Unown Aromatherapy > Dragon Rage (Lucy) > Sonicboom (Wendy)

Kerchief: Endure > Helping Hand (Overcast) > Unown V-create (Wendy)

Ps Frosty, would be great if you could keep some kind of official list of the used up Unowns in your reffing.

Unown: A B C E J K L N O Q R T U V X Y Z

Kerchief the Minccino starts this round by pumping up adrenaline to Endure all future assaults. TBH I don't know why, since it won't be hit that much, BUT, better be safe than sorry I guess.

As part B of the "keep-mincinno-around" master plan, Overcast grabs one Unown and use Aromatherapy to create a soothing aroma that heals Deadfox's team.

Unown A: "Unooooown" (translation: I suggest you don't ask how I managed to wipe out that aroma!)

....oh god *gasp*.

...anyway, unaware of Deadfox's plan, Wendy continues to follow her orders, as she throws a couple Magical Leafs toward the Minccino, cutting in more than one location, but not enough to make it falter. Lucy, in the other hand, tried a combo that, and I quote, was "all kinds of ridiculous". Since she couldn't combine both Teleport and Icy Wind (and c'mon those attacks have nothing to do with each other), she decides to just use Teleport now to go back to the pokeball for a quick rest than to the battle feeling...pretty much the same. plus poison.

On the second turn, Overcast and Kerchief joins forces to bypass Light Screen and defeat Ralts with Helping Hand and then Dragon Rage. Rawr.

Now alone, Wendy doesn't give up and continue the assault by poisoning the Monohm with Poisonpowder.

Finally, Minccino grabs an Unown, the V one and holding it tight, proceeds to attack Wendy with V-Create, using the Unown's power.

Unown-V: Unoooown (translation: for Victory!)

or something like that.

Overcast also attacks with Sonicboom and in return is hit by a...rather weak Ancientpower

...things are NOT looking good for ZhengTann. That is for sure.

Mincinno: Endure for 15 energy

Monohm: Unown Aromatherapy for 9 energy

Chikorita: Magical Leaf (Mincinno): 6 + 3 +1.5 = 10.5 damage for 3 energy
Crit: 22

Ralts: Teleport for 7 energy.
NOTE: All kinds of ridiculous sums this up pretty well. Since this is combo isn't feasible, I'll go with the don't-remember-where-I-saw-it-but-I-am-sure-it-is-official ruling that said combo is dismembered into two actions in the order that it was posted.

Oh come on, I just expected to have a boosted priority weak attack - and even that was too much? Dodge is non-combinable, for sure, but even the ASB Council is ruling out Teleport / Agility's evasive maneuvers should it is combo'ed with an attack to give increased priority. Sigh... But thank you for making a leftover-Unown list. Alright, we've worn them down this much, so let's just end this as quick as possible while safeguarding ourselves whenever possible. Wendy, activate the double screening, to minimise our damage input while Erza goes all out.

"Twice the odds put against us... Still, they're not going to laugh for having the fates in their favour."

"Hit fast, hit hard, they say. They've been a good team, but we're not shirking away for that."

Wendy-Chikorita: Light Screen > Reflect > Chill
Erza-Rebble: Vacuum Wave (Kerchief-Minccino) > Mud Shot (Overcast-Monohm) > Mud Shot (Overcast-Monohm)
