    Today's brawl takes place in the ASB Arena, but the rain seems to have driven away the spectators!
    Before we get started, let's take a moment to review the rules:

(e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects.

    Thick Fat: (Innate) This Pokemon has a great deal of extra fat or muscle that increases its resistance to extreme heat or extreme cold, reducing the type effectiveness of Fire and Ice-typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.)
    Guts: (Innate) This Pokemon is tenacious and will work ever harder when under a status condition, raising the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by two (2). Pokemon with Guts ignore the attack drop from burn.
    Sheer Force (DW): (Can be Enabled) This Pokemon can energize all its attacks with secondary effect chances less than 100%. When Enabled, the Base Attack Power of every move with an effect chance less than 100% increases by two (2), but they will never have a secondary effect.

    Abilities:

    Run Away: (Innate) This Pokemon is quick on its feet and will evade any field traps and hazards that would harm it (Spikes, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes) in an arena. A Pokemon can still absorb Toxic Spikes if it has Run Away and is Poison-typed. Run Away does not allow the Pokemon to switch out of trapping moves or abilities, however it can escape other situational trapping strategies in battle.
    Early Bird: (Innate) This Pokemon is used to waking up at early hours or operating in low-light conditions and subsequently sleep status is automatically reduced by one intensity level when inflicted on this Pokemon. When the Pokemon uses Rest they will gain 18 HP per action and only be asleep for two actions.
    Tangled Feet (DW): (Innat) (Locked) When confused, this Pokemon moves around in a haphazard manner, increasing their evasion by one (1) stage. These Pokemon will never damage themselves in confusion. If the Pokemon also has Own Tempo, The duration of confusion doubles.

    Sorry, King, but nothing about flopping helplessly about in a puddle strikes me as particularly evasive. Dodge is probably a better bet anyway.

    As the round begins, both trainers release their Pokémon. On one side, a golden Magikarp skids about, swiftly swimming through the rain! On the other, a Makuhita quietly awaits his orders...

    Bane the Magikarp begins the match by creating a Bubble out of a nearby puddle, then firing it at H the Makuhita! Angered, H shakes the rain out of his eyes and retaliates with a Force Palm! The Sheer Force of the attack sends Bane flying!

    Using his ability to his advantage, Bane swiftly prepares to Dodge any oncoming attack. Sure enough, H lets fly a fist crackling with electricity, but the Punch of Thunder hits nothing but air!

    Bane again launches Bubbles at Makuhita, who retaliates with a final Force Palm to end the round.

    Bane looks tired, but is doing well considering his species' natural setbacks. It's still anybody's game!

    Slipping slightly, H leaps forward and, with a resounding clap, Fakes Out Bane! It seems the Magikarp was so startled he flinched!

    As the round closes, the storm seems to be intensifying as both battlers await their orders...

    As the round opens, thunder rolls ominously. Both battlers are soaking wet, but the storm continues to worsen. As lightning flashes, the third round begins...

    Still swiftly swimming through the downpour, Bane opens with a Bubble that is intensified by the rain! Angered, H retaliates with a powerful Force Palm, catching the Magikarp across the gills! Whoa, Deja Vu again.

    Nervously, Bane braces himself to Dodge, but is unable to avoid the oncoming Thunderpunch! The crackling attack knocks the Magikarp away, sending him splashing limply into a puddle! Bane has been KOed!

    King Serperior recalls Bane and automatically sends out his final Pokémon, Stormblade the Scyther. The Mantis Pokémon calmly sharpens his claws, preparing himself for the oncoming brawl.

    As the fourth round opens, Stormblade the Scyther surveys his new foe. As the rain continues to fall, the H and Stormblade lock eyes, staring each other down...

    In a flash, Stormblade leaps forward, fiercely Attacking with his Wings! The sheer intensity of the attack causes H to stagger backward, before countering with a Jab of Poison!

    Angered, Stormblade continues his assault, using Technician to launch an Aerial Ace attack upon the cowering Makuhita! The Fighting-type is certainly taking a beating under these strong STAB attacks! Struggling to his feet, H retaliates with a Punch of Fire that seems to lose momentum in the pouring rain!

    Lightning glinting off his wings, Stormblade quickly finishes off H with a final Wing Attack! The Makuhita stumbles, then falls with a splash, KOed!

    Ziposaki recalls his fallen Fighting-type and sends out a Doduo, alert and keen-eyed even in the worsening storm. It's still anyone's game!

    As the rain continues to pour, Stormblade the Scyther sizes up his new foe. D the Doduo seems ready for battle, both beaks snapping menacingly.

    With a flash, the Doduo rolls forward into a Drill Peck, beaks spinning like tops, but Stormblade had already dived out of the way, using his Agility and reflexes to dodge the attack!

    Spinning back, Stormblade catches D across both heads with a strong Wing Attack! However, the Doduo manages to Peck Stormblade's wings as he zooms by.

    Flipping around, the Scyther nails D with an Aerial Ace attack, but is knocked away by a powerful Drill Peck!

    As the round closes, both battlers flinch as lightning flashes in the distance, but resolutely remain determined to triumph.

    Round Six Start!
    As the sixth round begins, lightning flashes, briefly outlining the two battlers locked in combat. Though both have sustained injuries, neither is giving in until the end!

    Stormblade begins the round with a Wing Attack that sends D flying! The flightless bird lands, angered, and retaliates with a Peck that catches the Scyther across the wings!

    Nervously, D concentrates and Protects himself from oncoming attack, just seconds before Stormblade crashes into the mental barrier with an Aerial Ace!

    The final action mimics the first, with a second Wing Attack colliding with an oncoming Peck!

    As the round closes, both combatants seem exhausted. The next round will almost certainly be the last, but who will win?

    If Scyther uses a protective/evasive move, Chill that action and push actions down.
    If combination would fail, change Actions 1 and 2 to Drill Peck and Quick Attack

    As the final round begins, both battlers struggle to remain upright, fighting exhaustion and the still-raging storm. Like gunslingers in the wild west, they lock eyes, preparing themselves for the final skirmish.

    In a flash, Stormblade the Scyther zooms into a Sonic Wingblade Combo that knocks D off his feet! The Doduo slips in the rain, but manages to struggle to his feet, using the last of his energy to retaliate with a powerful Hyper Peck Combo that sends Stormblade skidding across the arena! The Scyther shakes his head, blades askew, then falls with a splash, KOed! That's game!
