Today's brawl takes place in the ASB Arena, but the rain seems to have driven away the spectators!
Before we get started, let's take a moment to review the rules:

As the round begins, both trainers release their Pokémon. On one side, a golden Magikarp skids about, swiftly swimming through the rain! On the other, a Makuhita quietly awaits his orders...

Bane the Magikarp begins the match by creating a Bubble out of a nearby puddle, then firing it at H the Makuhita! Angered, H shakes the rain out of his eyes and retaliates with a Force Palm! The Sheer Force of the attack sends Bane flying!

Using his ability to his advantage, Bane swiftly prepares to Dodge any oncoming attack. Sure enough, H lets fly a fist crackling with electricity, but the Punch of Thunder hits nothing but air!

Bane again launches Bubbles at Makuhita, who retaliates with a final Force Palm to end the round.

Bane looks tired, but is doing well considering his species' natural setbacks. It's still anybody's game!

Swimming circles around the drenched Makuhita, Bane fires another round of Bubbles, but is slammed by a Force Palm, sending him skidding across the arena! Whoa, deja vu.

Slipping slightly, H leaps forward and, with a resounding clap, Fakes Out Bane! It seems the Magikarp was so startled he flinched!

As the round closes, the storm seems to be intensifying as both battlers await their orders...

Nervously, Bane braces himself to Dodge, but is unable to avoid the oncoming Thunderpunch! The crackling attack knocks the Magikarp away, sending him splashing limply into a puddle! Bane has been KOed!

King Serperior recalls Bane and automatically sends out his final Pokémon, Stormblade the Scyther. The Mantis Pokémon calmly sharpens his claws, preparing himself for the oncoming brawl.

In a flash, Stormblade leaps forward, fiercely Attacking with his Wings! The sheer intensity of the attack causes H to stagger backward, before countering with a Jab of Poison!

Angered, Stormblade continues his assault, using Technician to launch an Aerial Ace attack upon the cowering Makuhita! The Fighting-type is certainly taking a beating under these strong STAB attacks! Struggling to his feet, H retaliates with a Punch of Fire that seems to lose momentum in the pouring rain!

Lightning glinting off his wings, Stormblade quickly finishes off H with a final Wing Attack! The Makuhita stumbles, then falls with a splash, KOed!

Ziposaki recalls his fallen Fighting-type and sends out a Doduo, alert and keen-eyed even in the worsening storm. It's still anyone's game!

Spinning back, Stormblade catches D across both heads with a strong Wing Attack! However, the Doduo manages to Peck Stormblade's wings as he zooms by.

Flipping around, the Scyther nails D with an Aerial Ace attack, but is knocked away by a powerful Drill Peck!

As the round closes, both battlers flinch as lightning flashes in the distance, but resolutely remain determined to triumph.

Nervously, D concentrates and Protects himself from oncoming attack, just seconds before Stormblade crashes into the mental barrier with an Aerial Ace!

The final action mimics the first, with a second Wing Attack colliding with an oncoming Peck!

As the round closes, both combatants seem exhausted. The next round will almost certainly be the last, but who will win?

The Doduo slips in the rain, but manages to struggle to his feet, using the last of his energy to retaliate with a powerful Hyper Peck Combo that sends Stormblade skidding across the arena! The Scyther shakes his head, blades askew, then falls with a splash, KOed! That's game!
