Ziposaki and Orcinus Duo battle it out in Warioware!

Not open for further replies.
Battle type: 2v2 NFE Singles
DQ time: 1 day
Restrictions: 2 recoveries/5 chills
Arena:

An artificial environment with no external water source or natural grass. Digging and seismic moves are allowed. Weather is allowed.

At the beginning of each round, the ref will give a task to the participating pokemon to perform during the round. It can be anything as long as all active pokemon can feasibly accomplish it (eg, use non-STAB moves only). Any pokemon that fail to complete the task take damage equal to 1/4 of their max HP.
Taking battle 2.

All abilities.

Ref=YOU!
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to another fiery battle here in CAP ASB!
Today's battle is in Warioware Inc, an arena full of restrictions, surprises, and penalties!
Without further ado, let's meet the teams!

Team Ziposaki:

Makuhita [H] (M)

Nature: Adamant (Adds * to Attack, Subtracts * from Special Attack)

Type: Fighting

Fighting: Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions of throwing/grappling moves. Superior reaction time in close quarters.

Abilities:

Thick Fat: (Innate) This Pokemon has a great deal of extra fat or muscle that increases its resistance to extreme heat or extreme cold, reducing the type effectiveness of Fire and Ice-typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.)
Guts: (Innate) This Pokemon is tenacious and will work ever harder when under a status condition, raising the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by two (2). Pokemon with Guts ignore the attack drop from burn.
Sheer Force (DW): (Can be Enabled) (Locked) This Pokemon can energize all its attacks with secondary effect chances less than 100%. When Enabled, the Base Attack Power of every move with an effect chance less than 100% increases by two (2), but they will never have a secondary effect.

Seedot (M)

Nature: Modest (Adds * to Special Attack, Subtracts * from Attack)

Type: Grass

Grass: Grass STAB; immunity to Leech Seed and Worry Seed. 50% reduction in status effect chance of oncoming "powder" attacks. More mobile in areas with strong natural light sources. Superior senses in tall grass and forest areas. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus.

Abilities:

Chlorophyll: (Innate) During bright sunlight, this Pokemon’s cells absorb more solar energy, doubling (x2) their speed.
Early Bird: (Innate) This Pokemon is used to waking up at early hours or operating in low-light conditions and subsequently sleep status is automatically reduced by one intensity level when inflicted on this Pokemon. When the Pokemon uses Rest they will gain 18 HP per action and only be asleep for two actions.
Pickpocket (DW): (Innate) (Locked) This Pokemon's mischievous nature and greed make it very effective at pawning off an opponents item. If this Pokemon has no item and either it or the opposing Pokemon strikes with a contact attack, their item is stolen and becomes the held item of this Pokemon. Pokemon with Pickpocket can be commanded to swap items with an ally, and only they will need to expend an action to do so because of their swifter sleight of hand.

Nature: Timid
*
Type: Poison/Ghost
Poison: Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic, see and breath through smog/smokescreens/haze uninhibited. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus. Superior senses in urban settings.
Ghost: Ghost STAB; brief intangibility that nullifies Normal and Fighting-type attacks. Can move through walls for a brief period of time but must remain in motion. Superior senses in low light and inside dark buildings. Have no vision reduction in hazes.
*
Abilities:
Levitate:
Type: Trait
This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading Ground moves like Bulldoze, Dig, Earthquake, and Magnitude. Other Ground moves can still hit. Levitate Pokemon will retain the Levitate trait when they use Skill Swap on an enemy, and will steal the opponent's ability (the user can specify if they want a foe or ally to gain Levitate from a Skill Swap.) If a Pokemon with Levitate uses Role Play, they will copy the opponent's abilities and retain Levitate.

Bonsly (Mamoslayer) (M)
Nature: Adamant
Rock STAB; reduce damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.

Sturdy (innate): This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing the Base Attack Power from an opponents incoming attacks by one (1). The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) Base Attack Power.

Rock Head (innate): This Pokemon’s hard body prevents it from taking recoil damage from moves such as Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, and Head Smash.

Rattled (innate): These Pokemon are more easily frightened by Ghost-, Bug-, and Dark-typed attacks and will raise their Speed by one (1) stage when struck by attacks of those types. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. Self-targeted attacks do not maintain boosts.

"This should be interesting...We're going to take advantage of the fact that our opponent has absolutely nothing to block our moves with. Let's roll."
PB, start off with a toxic. Then, go with a venoshock+venoshock combo, and cooldown. If a combo involving ice punch is used on A1, replace your actions with protect-sludge bomb+sludge comb combo-cooldown.

Start with Faint Attack, though I'm not too happy about that Toxic. Toxic might activate Guts, but that Venoshock combo will hurt. Next, do a Bullet Punch/Ice Punch combo for a prioritized, but weaker version of Ice Punch (that's how I think it would work.) After that, just cooldown.

Faint Attack > Bullet Punch/Ice Punch combo > cooldown

Round One Start!
As the round starts, both trainers release their Pokémon. One one side, a Makuhita blinks in the harsh artificial lights of Warioware. The fighting-type seems a bit disoriented, but eager to battle! On the other side, a Haunter quickly ducks into a nearby shadow, cautiously awaiting orders.

Flitting from shadow to shadow, Purple Boss unleashes a Toxic gas that badly poisons Makuhita! The Guts Pokémon, however, seems to be gaining strength from the toxins, and unleashes a Faint Attack with a roar! The powerful blow sends Purple Boss scurrying away!

Pursuing his foe, Makuhita infuses a Bullet Punch with Ice, and knocks Haunter flying! Makuhita chuckles in satisfaction, but it seems the Haunter had set a trap! An incredibly powerful Double-Venoshock nails the unsuspecting Makuhita, doing massive damage!

As the round ends, both Pokémon retreat cautiously. Though their health seems identical, Makuhita is still wincing from the toxins rapidly multiplying in his bloodstream. Haunter, however, seems nervous about his foe's ability, as Guts has clearly activated. The match could definitely go either way at this point, folks!

As the round starts, Makuhita seems to be glowing purple, as his bad poisoning worsens. Purple Boss seems proud of his handiwork, but remains cautious, staying in the shadows.

Gliding forward, Purple Boss Disables Makuhita's Faint Attack! The Haunter seems positively gleeful at his trickery, and laughs as Makuhita tries and fails to use Faint Attack!

Still chuckling, Purple Boss unleashes a Venoshock! Makuhita falls away, still being plagued by poison, but manages to retaliate with a ThunderPunch! That certainly wiped the grin off Haunter's face!

Clearly worried about his depleted energy reserves, Purple Boss Chills out and restores some energy while Makuhita tries and fails to Faint Attack again, Struggling to do any damage at all.

As the round ends, Makuhita's poison seems to worsen! Meanwhile, Purple Boss shrinks back into the shadows, cautiously awaiting his orders.

Round Three Start!
As the round begins, both trainers hand their sealed actions to the ref. (Hey, that's me!) On the field, both Pokémon seem cautious, as neither knows what the other will do...

Purple Boss is the first to act, launching another Venoshock that almost KOes Makuhita! The Guts Pokémon manages to eat his Oran berry, though, and seems slightly revitalized, firing off a strong Thunderpunch! The force of the attack seems to have paralyzed Purple Boss!

Although electricity is slowing his actions, Purple Boss still outspeeds the glacier-like Makuhita and slams the fighting-type with a second Venoshock! Struggling to stay upright, Makuhita retaliates with a final Ice Punch before finally succumbing to his worsening poison!

Purple Boss, though exhausted, fires a Shadow Ball skyward in victory before preparing himself to face his next foe!

As the round begins, the nameless Makuhita is recalled, and replaced by a Seedot! The also nameless Seedot seems eager to battle, though cautious, eying Purple Boss's array of moves with concern. Purple Boss, on the other had, seems to be plotting something...

Outspeeding his paralyzed foe, Seedot launches a Ball of Shadows that nearly knocks Purple Boss out! Flickering in and out of reality, struggling to hang on, Purple Boss digs deep and Splits his Pain evenly between himself and his foe! Yikes! The sudden shift in health causes Seedot to nearly pass out from shock! However, it's Purple Boss who sinks to the ground, KOed! It looks like he ran out of energy after that last attack!

As the round begins, Mamoslayer the oddly-named Bonsly is sent tumbling into the ring! S, still reeling from Purple Boss's parting gift, eyes his new foe with caution.

Rolling forward, S launches Leeching Seeds that quickly ensnare the struggling Bonsly! Mamoslayer is completely entangled! Struggling to free himself of the health-sapping seeds, Mamoslayer uses his Rock-Typing to summon a fierce sandstorm! S is nearly blasted off his feet, but Mamoslayer seems to be enjoying the new weather.

Struggling to see through the sand, both battlers unleash Toxics at one another! A chronic case of bad poisoning seems to have spread through the arena! Gas masks on, folks!

Turning his face to the sky, S tries to heal himself using photoSynthesis, but the sandstorm seems to have diminished his ability to heal! Pressing his advantage, Mamoslayer risks the wrath of the RNG with a powerful Rock Slide! That had to hurt!

As the round ends, the sandstorm continues to rage. S, though buffeted and blasted by the ceaseless wind, seems to be recovering some health through the Leech Seed! Both battlers are poisoned, folks, this match has been put on a timer!

Endquote, I think giga drain should be doing 16...-2 for sandstorm, not -1. Plus, toxic damage is a bit iffy.

Sorry for the trouble...

Jesus, I am being a bit of an idiot, aren't I?
And about Toxic, I had it counted correctly, I just wrote it wrong.
Sorry about this.

EDIT: And I forgot about Sturdy. Jesus, tired-me is a terrible ref.
