Pokemon at Apex 2012

The new year is almost here and that means what may be the largest independently organized Pokemon tournament in North America is almost here as well! Apex 2012 takes place at Rutgers University in New Jersey from January 6th - 8th and Pokemon Black & White will join other games like Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition on the roster. There will be two tournaments: one using Smogon's Singles OU rules and the other using Nintendo's official VGC '12 doubles format. Qualifiers will be held on Pokemon Online on January 4th to help determine seeding for the main event.
