TPCi Presents: 2012 Spring Friendly

It seems like just yesterday we were all playing with over 9000 others in the 2012 International Challenge, but it's time for another official ladder tournament put on by the kind folks at The Pokemon Company. Like the International Challenge, the 2012 Spring Friendly will use the same rules as this season's Video Game Championships, so if you have a team ready for that, you're good to go!

Registration will be from 12:00AM GMT on May 2nd to 11:59PM GMT on May 9th. The competition itself will begin as soon as registration is over at 12:00AM on May 10th and go until 11:59PM on May 14th. This should be the perfect chance to test out your teams before the Canada and US National competitions coming up on June 30th and July 1st! Not to mention the World Championships this August!

Also note that registration is limited although the amount of players has not been specified. The sooner you sign up the better! Japanese and South Korean players are not eligible this time around though so you won't need to furiously refresh that sign up page on May 2nd (or May 1st for many of you).

Last time we saw Cybertron (1st), Osirus182 (2nd), Dozz (4th), and R Inanimate (7th) in the Top 10 with scores above 1900. Time to see if you can join their ranks! You can discuss the tournament using the thread in our Global Battle Union forum. ~Firestorm
