When this Pokémon is brought out, a permanent sun covers the battlefield. It can only be removed by bringing out a Pokémon with Drizzle or Sand Stream, or by using Rain Dance, Sandstorm, or Hail.

If two Pokemon with weather-changing abilities are sent out at the same time, the weather of the Pokemon with the lower Speed stat will prevail.
