Pokemon Showdown Seasonal Ladder Seasonal Ladder is a tier hosted on Pokemon Showdown. Much like Random Battle, the Seasonal Ladder lets you play with randomly generated teams; however, not every Pokemon can be randomly generated. The Pokemon that may be generated are based on themes relating to the time of the year. The current theme is May Mayhem, a singles ladder. There's several featured themes this month: spring, Star Wars Day, Remembrance of the Dead Day, Music Month in New Zealand, Mother's Day, Peace Day, and other minor holidays. Spring continues, but this time we get no rain. A lot of Pokémon are wearing purple for the peace day, while others roleplay as their favorite Star Wars characters! Also all the Pokémon used by May in the anime are featured. Oh, the puns! This month won't see several wacky mechanics as the previous seasonals, but to celebrate the month of music offensive Pokémon will choose Metronome as their item of Choice, whilst more defensive Pokémon will opt for a Berry, since they can be found everywhere in spring.
