Hey all.

My eyes started to glaze over in the Day 1 is a rand conversation. I happen to agree with Duskfall that there are some small tells you can get, but largely to me D1 is useless on D1. It is however, very useful when you have more context. With a quarter to half the game flipped and some wagonomics you can go back and aee who was more informed or had an agenda.

No early vote just yet, just trying to get a read on people and not lose track of the thread as things get started, it's been busy for me today.

I’m voting NE because I want them to say something, if they don’t then there’s an argument for policy or whatever, but we have 48 hours so pressure voting for the first 24 doesn’t seem particularly AI to me

On 74, as a peanut gallery player, why the heck is Sunny suggesting that d1 is a rand? The no post NE read is either JALMONT Stan posting or mafia cooking. (Tries to be like omg he’s busy too!)

Vizh immediately hops on NE (82)?

On 104, Vizh asks “is it too silly to be staged?” Like just say this feels T/T

On 124, AG says we have enough that’s it’s not randing?

On 133, Sunny doubles down on the NE read, saying it’s the only data town has?

On 138, Des says she’s town!!!

On 171, I agree with both of these reads actually

On 185, I actually disagree with this I feel like it sorta has to be based on vibes. I just think Sunny’s take is wild coming from him ig.

On 198, I think it’s interesting that Charlie only engages with AG about reads on Sunny.

On 202, I alluded to it on my previous post, but I think the reasoning for that DBD read is a little too speculative.

On 215, AG does give somewhat of a sheepish response to Charlie’s question.

wrt page5: i dont think sunny is necessarily rong but i also think that even without this discussion the d1 vote probably wouldve landed on the "experienced NOC players" pool just by virute of. them being the majority of players

i also think that voting based off of that is not exactly the best idea tho. ppl can be experienced but not have an abundance of posts to go off of, if you actually want the d1 vote to give lots of info then paradoxically its good to vote out an experienced+active player which is shooting urself in the foot if ur town tbh?

I'm thinking of doing a VC once every 5 pages or so, or at least aspiring to that since it's probably unrealistic. I will hear opinions on that if anyone has them, do you need one that frequently?

Also just to address this rq:
1) flipping scum will give us info no matter if it's a new or experienced player? I mean duh. I'm assuming we are firing somewhat blind D1, so the rationale is that we can rely on an experienced player's reads d1 to scumhunt much more than a new player who may be scum but also has a high probability of being town.

i think the issues was more regarding ne not having posted at all(?) despite being experience so with the logic u were presenting it seemed counterintuitive to be voting him at that stage

sunny seems ok? The premise for the vote experienced noc player is off but the intent seems fine, I wouldn't scumread him off of it at least. Not much of a confidence read here though.

My gut says that if ag is making less sense, he could be town, but this is based off of meta from my last game with him.

I think charlie seems town here, nothing concrete, but the free flowing posting feels so to me.

I don’t think it’s necessary but it’s convenient and helps you as a host have a bookmark to keep track of
