I'm not voting skip because I'm kinda paranoid about it with how easy of a miselim he can be, but I still would want more out of him wrt a vote and where his head's at on who he wants out. Because it did read like a scummy listpost to me.

Follow the quote chain. It's about using a discord name on the forum. Last time I saw that (that wasn't Duskfall/Tommy), it was a pure scumslip. But someone also mentioned that they play a lot together in another setting, so I'm not as sure now that they're two scum in the same server.
yeah I asked because I felt like that was worth a push, I think semantics based arguments this early feel more mafia-like because, what else are they going to push to start something? And tommy seems like the kinda player to do that. But also the guy is sick and I want to see more from him so idk. I'd have vote him if I was in your place tbh

Vizh I'll vote when I have a reason to vote. Caring about wagonomics also means making sure that my votes matter in some way, whether because I believe someone is scum or am looking to see who else follows if I press someone.
Early thread impressions haven't pinged me yet. A couple of the pop ins and defenses could be arrificial/forced, but imo nothing of consequence has happened yet.
There's a reason I haven't played as much NOC recently, time is short and it's easy to read but hard to reread. But when I have opinions I'll push them with conviction.

Did a quick skim this morning (didn't want to devote too much time to read everything in detail) but wrt the sunny/Tommy exchange, sunny echoes a lot of feelings about NOC that I have (d1 is a rand not much we can do etc), and I thought Tommy answered them in a way that doesn't like take away my critiques of NOC but at least makes me wanna see his ideas in practice for a bit. Also glad to know NOC is nicer to new players than we were last OC when we did vote out a first timer like d1...

So I can see the reasoning behind "semanitcs based arguments feel more mafia-like" but it feels like everything that is used as a reason to vote someone d1 is something silly and small. There are no past votes to look at. To me it feels like all you have is content based on content based on hot air. I get that mafia players would rather push towards a mislynch and have more reason to make their things up though but to me it is very hard to differentiate from a townie who's doing the same for the sake of getting discussion started, seeing how specific people interact with specific others.
It's a reference to a game me and Hydro played (as both of our first NOC games iirc) where he was wildly angleshot via the method described

Normally I would agree but even ignoring everything else, and exclusively taking charlie/SB's discord name, they did play a game together on discord not that long ago, so it could be from that (in addition to the aforementioned previous experience)
I guess I can't fault this, but I'd be lying if it wasn't a bit of a letdown.
