It works bro, I have literally never been wrong with townslip reads
How is townslip even a thing? Everyone wants to be seen as town (outside of specific powers and situations), and a "slip" can serve very well. Mafia is motivated to fake a town slipping.
Yes of course mafia will try to do townie things to look townie, but when you see scum fake townslips it is usually very forced and easy to identify, I don’t get that kind of vibe at all from mekkah which is why I’m willing to ball and town them for it.
Or we just stop townreading townies for being townies because mafia are motivated to look townie and will try faking it.

My tip is if your eyes are glazing, skim read the thread and comment/focus if something actually jumps out at you
The most interesting stuff is usually done live, it’s important to not be afking but wouldnt be worried about studying the history of thread, if something you miss is important it will be highlighted and you can go check it anyways
In theory it is like if town misses something like mafia having no scum chat but in reality it is not reliable and is faked majority of the time

Ftr I tl Mekkah but this would also townslip a group of like 4 people earlier in the day who expressed surprise

All 4 of them could have easily just gone “oh they’re talking about daychat let’s pretend to be surprised!!!” But mekkah snuck in that lack of knowledge in a way where it actually ended up influencing their reads and it didn’t come off as forced really, so I think there’s a decent chance it is real.
The big weakness of NOC: that there are so few posts that do that jumping out.
