What kind of Pokemon (type, ability, role, moves, etc.) do you wish existed?

I would want a Pokemon with an ability to make perma-gravity (if I could update it, I'd also like to make weather and entry hazards do more damage), and then a Pokemon with an "opposite" of sorts--Float. It overrides gravity, stops the effects of entry hazards and damaging weather, and makes all Pokemon immune to ground attacks...should it reduce accuracy a little? I was thinking no...at least for special attacks.

I'd also, as a small thing, like for breeding to take on a new level--shininess can be inherited again. It'll follow real genetics more closely though, so if you know your punnett squares well (and what "genes" your Pokemon have) then you're good to go (of course, even having a shot of having one-half of the required shiny trait will be very dicey). It would also be cool if there were melanistic or albinistic varieties of Pokemon.

Yes, during GSC--if you bred a shiny and another Pokemon, you had a 1/64 chance of getting another shiny (at least, that's what I heard...thanks to my terrible memory and the fact that I learned about this years ago, I don't know where I got that info... >_> <_< >_>). I suppose it isn't really "inherited", per se...it's close enough though.

Or at least that's what I heard... <_< >_> <_<

During GSC, shininess was based off the IVs, instead of the different value for RSE upwards. So, yeah, that's pretty much it. Though it'd be interesting to see those values as inheritable.

Incomplete dominance: Purple Gyarados.

^ Interesting...wish that was back.
Something I heard while looking at pictures on DA. Fakemon with this kind of ability

Phoenix Fire-when it's HP is critically low, it's HP is restored[to full]at the cost of halving all it's stats.

Now competitively speaking, is it balanced or broken?

That seems like a fairly awesome ability if you look at it from a mythological reference standpoint. Competitively it's not broken, I don't think...unless the stat changes are reset when the Pokemon switches out, and the ability will keep saving it. Then that would be broken. :/

Well...

A Fire/Grass: A burning tree!
A Fire/Water
A Dark/Fire-- A good OU one :D
A Dark-Dragon
A good pure Dragon, off the top of my head, Flygon, Salamance, Garchomp, Dragonite, and Kingdra all have dual types
A Ice/Fire
A 3rd Evolution for Fearow, Marowak
Dual Type moves: Stab is still the same. If you have STAB for one, its x1.5. If you ave STAB for 2, its still 1.5x.
A steel-fire
More Air-Lock pokemon
And give the legendaries other abilities rather than PRESSURE!

AND TO BE ABLE TO NICKNAME POKEMON THAT YOU GOT IN A TRADE. That bugs me when you get a really good guy off the GTS named "Shitface"

Luckily the ability only activate once per battle, so I guess the stat change is resettable upon switch out. Mind you, the ability was on a Fire/Dragon Pokemon, base stats unknown.

D. Suicune ~ It was on a fakemon someone else made, I just liked the ability it had and posted it to see if it was actually useful or not though I do admit, a Fire/Flying(I.E Ho-oh) would make much more sense too.

Burst
BP 250
PP 5
Type: Fire
Category: Special
Basically A Fire-Type Explosion.

Pokemon that can learn it:
Fire Types, Pokemon that can learn Explosion, and Pokemon that can Learn Selfdestruct (via Pokermon XD Move Tutor), but not Explosion (Snorlax, Mewtwo, Wailord, ect.)

^Solar Flare! 8D *mytwocents*

Hmm...back on that "phoenix" ability, maybe it should keep the Pokemon from switching out for two or three turns, just to make sure it isn't broken.

Choice Spec, 252 SpA, Flash Fire'd Modest Heatran using "Solar Flare" on a 148/108 Hp/SpD Blissey
Damage: 719 - 845
Damage: 104.51% - 122.82%

Without the Flash Fire
Damage: 479 - 564
Damage: 69.62% - 81.98%

This if Solar Flare doesn't have that "Cut defense(SpD) in half before damage is dealt with" effect.

Blue Ditto~ I'm not sure such an ability needs an locking effect like that. I can see some justification for the locking effect somewhere.

What I would like to see would be a nice Grass/Fire dual type with the ability Flash Fire and decent special attacking capabilities.

I would also love to see a Poison/Steel and a Ghost/Steel. I know that the type combos I mentioned have common weaknesses (especially the Poison/Steel with a nasty 4x to Ground), but last time I checked there were several pokemon with a shit-load of weaknesses. Rhyperior, for example, has two quad weaknesses, although Solid Rock and that massive defense (not to mention possible sandstorm support) helps him out.

I recently had two ideas for priority moves that could be interesting:

+2 priority, 20 BP, Cancels opponent's physical-contact attack

+1 priority, same mechanics as Sucker Punch, BP equal to 3/4 of the BP of the opponent's attack

I would like to see a move, exclusive to only a couple pokes, that is basicalyl Mirror Move with priority. Use opponent's move, but use it first guaranteed.

ok well i've been thinking, while playing d/p, the move defog sparked my intrest. so then i thought why not make a weather move with fog. so then what type would it be for, what effects would it have? fog in the game lowers acc. so lets start with that. ok what type should it be for... um how bout flying, that type has potenal. ok so we have:

Fog - weather move that lowers acc. of all non-flying pokemon.

sounds good now is it a move or an ability.

ability would break for sure so lets make it a move with 5pp.

ok now lets look at good pokemon for a team such as this. like any weather team the formula is 4 pokemon that will be unaffected by the weather (flying) and 2 to combat that types weaknesses (ice, electric, rock).

so fog would probly be obtainable like draco metor. a person teaches it to one of your flying pokemon and you olny get one so use wisely. the 2 that come two mind crobat and aero. 130 base spders crobat is cooler imo and has higher hp and deffs so i'm gonna chose it!

crobat lefties
fog
confuse ray
u-turn
roost

pretty good set imo. get the fast fog, confuse, roost to heal and u-turn out to the next part of the strategy. u-turn allowies you 2 see who they switch 2 then you switch to a counter. cause odds are they are going to switch.

skarmory shedshell or lefties
sub
spikes/steath rock
roost
drill peck/brave bird

ok its skarm with a sub to block rapid spin! shed shell is better imo cause with fog and sub and roost you can live without the lefties recovery. and live to magnetpull. laydown spikes or steath rock for switching damage, steath rock for other fog abusers. now drill peck vs brave bird, i'd go with brave bird for the same reasons as shed shell.

togekiss lefties
thunder wave
air slash
sub
filler

hax set yes. with serence grace + thunder wave + sub + fog = good for you!

one more flier...

gyarados lefties
sub
swagger
waterfall
earthquake

can you say hello to the new garchomp?

ok now for the two non-fliers

blissey lefties
protect
wish
sub
sessmic toss

main job to kill/stall ice pokes

electvire
earthquake
shockwave
brick break
protect

ok kills rock types with eq ice types with bb and stalls with protect. and shockwave for stab 100% chance of hitting move. main damage dealer.

ok honorable mentioned pokes:
laturn-protect shockwave confuse ray
gliscor-knock off

and all fliers! can be used to some success i guess.

main moves to hurt the flying type:
ice beam 100acc 10pp
blizzard 70acc 5pp
alavance 100acc 10pp
thunderbolt 100acc 15pp
thunder 70acc 10pp
stone edge 80acc 5pp

so with the combo of sub+protect+evasion+para+confusion = little your counters can do. esp if you switch in electrive or lanturn in on the electric attack, that will make them think twice.

yea protect not being on a bird doesnt help alot but its filler.

yea most likly broken, but hey i knew it would be and thats fine. you can classify the move fog as uber! making this kind of team compet with the likes of groundon and kyogre, the uber weather changers. plus its a new way to use ou, bl, and even nu in uber play =)!!!!!!!!!!

just an idea, i get bored and think of crazy stuff! lol!
