That's probably it. As A fairy said Hydro was a reasonable target for a Night 1 kill so maybe they thought Roxie is scum.
can transporter be mafia I glanced at the setup and my thought is no but I want to confirm
if this person actually made their transport decision based on thinking someone was scum they are thinking about this game at a level I don't think I can ever get to and I need them to pm me so I can sheep whatever they tell me
transporter can't be scum, the role list lists out each role and their faction
I do think the kill on Roxie was transported because as af said usually smogmaf kills the experienced players first and not the newbies

This is why that was my last post for the night. I misread the previous post as them being in the same setup, not them both killing.

If you are the Transporter and did NOT Transport HyHy, please speak up. Doing so would catch both Alice and HyHy as lying.

Well, while I was reading to catch up, I initially thought Alice was lying.
I really liked Miyami's theories. It seems she was right with her transporter theory. I think she has very good analytical skills, or she's part of the mafia and that's why she figured out what happened so quickly :thinking:
There's a tiny chance that Alice simply picked a random list of roles and/or used some knowledge to try to pretend to be an investigator. (This is doesn't make sense if Lookout works as I say later, this was my thought before reading the investigator and lookout role cards)
Assuming someone transported Roxie and HydrogenHydreigon, there's no doubt that Roxie was the janitor, right?
I'm a bit confused about DBD's result. I understood it was a Lookout. Isn't that action unaffected by the transporter? From everything that was said, I understand it isn’t affected, but I’d like to confirm I’m getting things right.

roxie's thing about there being a witch d1 seemed weird to me - but in my head I classified it as a vet bait rather than a scumread
If we are thinking HyHy and Roxie were transported, then all of the following must be true:
Mafia chose to kill/clean HyHy
Dbd targeted Roxie, but actually watched HyHy
Alice targeted Roxie, but actually visited HyHy and was seen by Dbd
Roxie targeted themself, but actually visited HyHy (how?) and was seen by Dbd
Alice and Roxie cannot be the killer or janitor
Mafia chose to kill/clean HyHy

We know Roxie couldn't have been self-targeting Doc, BG, or Crusader because those would've resulted in Roxie not dying. I think that leaves the options for Roxie as:
Lookout
Trapper
Ambusher - if one of the visitors had defense
Recon
Disguiser
Forger (but self targeting n1 would be really weird)
Lookout
Trapper
Ambusher - if one of the visitors had defense

That's like the only thing he has as a reason for being targeted n1, at least it was my reason for the investigation.
He never learns
There are probably roles that can target themselves. One of them is transporter but transporter doesn't visit so that's ruled out.
I did mention them earlier and other users too it's probably one of spy, lookout, doctor or trapper.
Disguiser can actually self target as well?
wouldnt the doc/others get redirected to hyhy which would still leave roxie able to die
