What musical instruments do you play?

Hm, I played French Horn for a good 3 1/2 years in band. Played Trumpet in Jazz Band for a semester. I miss that kind of stuff :(

I played Flute for a semester @_@

I have been playing piano for over five years now. I'm still not super amazing at it though. In fact, I find that I'm unable to perform well to anyone apart from my teacher.

Just vocals here, although not traditional vocals. I'm a screamer, and been told I'm not half bad. Kind of D. Randall Blythe from back in the day.

I've been playing trumpet for about 5 years.

Unfortunately, my range it still isn't what you expect it to be >.< Stupid removal of tonsils!

I played acoustic for four years back when i was 7, quit at 10, then took electric up at 13 :3 My singings usually pretty diverse, just not rock or lively songs. Id say certain R n B songs, Country and pop. It depends on the song of course. Id love to learn piano or Sax though X_X Wow, trumpet sounds cool, I've never personally met a pro trumpeter.

Deja vu?

I've played the Alto Saxophone for five years, and can play a bit of flute. I'm trying to learn electric guitar, but I just never practise because I play the Saxophone instead. because I love it :).

Hahaha Twash. Yeah, Saxophones great id love to learn how to play. Well, with all the exams and homework I've been getting lately im very hard pressed to find time to practice / play Guitar anymore =/
What sorts of pieces do you play on Sax?

I used to play the Mallets ... but I quit after a year. I can play the keyboard a little bit, but I don't really have any musical talent :D

when I was like 6 years old I started playing the piano until I got into fourth grade, at which point I learned how the play the clarinet. after two years of clarinet, I dropped the piano and also learned how to play the bass clarinet, and a year after that I learned the tenor saxophone. So I'm proficient in the clarinet, bass clarinet, and tenor sax (they're all very similar, similar embechures (or however you spell it), the same key, etc etc), and play all of them whenever needed in both concert and jazz band. unfortunately, I have almost completely forgotten the piano, and now I think after 5 years of experience I might be able to play mary had a little lamb. at least I didn't forget the theory, as I see kids who didn't play the piano struggling in my music theory class.

Well, sounds difficult X] I used to learn how to read music back in my old guitar lessons, but now i only do Tabs, which is easier, and more fun.
Of course reading musics better if you want to learn to play more than one instrument, but meh =/

This is the 7th year of my playing the trumpet. I played the piano until this year, I found it really boring in the end.

I can play a tiny bit of acoustic Guitar. I prefer reading music as opposed to tabs, seeing as I've been able to read music since I was about 7 or so.

I really wanna be able to play the Alto Sax. Maybe I can try at University, but I may not have enough time to do so... *thinks*

I only play Guitar, so Tabs is easier to me. I can't learn music at school either, since i didn't choose it as an option X_X Although i wish i had of chosen it over French.

I played alto and tenor sax for a few years in middle school. I can also play guitar and piano a little bit but the cow bell is for me.

Looks like I'm the first drummer to post. I play rock drums, and I'm completely self-taught. Sadly, I don't know any music theory and I don't know how to read drum tabs and stuff, but I would say I'm good at playing. I'd like to learn jazz in the future.

EDIT: I also play guitar on the side, but I can't really get myself really dedicated to it. Still, it's nice to have a melodic instrument on the side, I don't know if it's most drummers or just me, but sometimes I need a break from constant rhythm and no melody.

As a Drummer, maybe you'd be more suited to playing Bass.
For sure - I've wanted to play bass for a while, but I don't have a bass as of right now. When my cousin gets a new bass he's gonna let me borrow his current one and then I'm gonna start playing it. Bass is such a cool instrument, I respect good bassists a lot.

Every time I hear someone talk about playing the flute I picture them playing a skin flute, and I giggle. XD

Its true, if you have 100 guitarists, you'll get about 17 decent ones, but if you get 20 Bass players, at least 12 of them are decent. Its not as popular an instrument, but it sure is a good one if you can play it well.

Whenever someone mentions a flute i always think to myself
"And i said, thats not a flute, its a recorder!!" And then i giggle.
