[OU RMT] Enter the Suicune! (First RMT)

Hola people!
Since I was annoyed, I created this team based on LO Suicune, and covering his weakness with Latias, which do her job pretty well. I'm pretty new to this game so any help is needed!

Team at a glance:

The team itself:

jirachi.png

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Serene Grace
80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Jolly (+Spe -SpA)
- Iron Head
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Punch
- Trick

The classic Leadchi; it works wonderful as a lead and as a revenge killer if I haven't tricked the Scarf. The moveset is pretty much self-explanatory: Fire Punch to hit opposing steels like Metagross and Magnezone, as well as Lucario who can open a sweep if setup on DM's Latias; Iron Head for STAB and for that stupendous 60% flinch-hax. Stealth Rock is there for beasts like Salamence, which takes 25% at every switch-in. The last move, Trick, is to disrupt wall or stat-upper.

latias.png

Latias @ Choice Scarf
Levitate
252 SpA/4 SpD/252 Spe
Timid (+Spe -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Thunderbolt
- Surf
- Trick / HP Fire

Latias, one of mine favourite member of the team, and the second one I would never change (the first being Suicune =P). This is the Revenge-Killer set and it works as it should. The Scarf and the Evs provide she outspeeds
every Salamence and Gyarados after a Dragon Dance, OHKO them. It also OHKO ScarfTran with Surf. The last move is a tricky choice: Trick is useful because Blissey walls the set, and she really likes coming while taking little to no damage, but HP Fire is useful against troublesome steels like ScarfMagnezone and Scizor, who comes and threatens with U-Turn / Pursuit. The other drawback of Hp Fire is that I lost speed ties with ScarfGar and other Scarfed Latias, which could be troublesome.

suicune.png

Suicune @ Life Orb
Pressure
252 SpA/4 SpD/252 Spe
Timid (+Spe -Atk)
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- HP Electric
- Calm Mind

Suicune, my favorite pokemon from all gens. It packs a punch but none considers him because he is understimated. After a Calm Mind, it can start wreaking havoc on opposing team by using unresisted combination of moves. Surf is there mainly for STAB, while the BoltBeam combination covers its slower counter, mainly Vaporeon and defensive Celebi. HP Electric also OHKO Gyarados without any boost, which is nice.

heatran.png

Heatran @ Shuca Berry
Flash Fire
252 SpA/4 Atk/252 Spe
Naive (+Spe -SpD)
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast
- Dragon Pulse
- Explosion

This Heatran creates mindgames by itsel. No LO recoil or Lefties recovery often means it's Scarfed or Specsed, so lots of Gyarados and Blissey comes to wall, only to be caught by Explosion. If I should swap attacks before exploding, the opponent could think about an Expert Belt, so send in is ScarfTran and meet a sweet death by an Earth Power from mine Heatran, which survives the hit thanks to Shuca Berry. Dragon Pulse is here just as a filler, and hits Kingdra pretty hard.

dragonite.png

Dragonite @ Choice Band
Inner Focus
252 Atk/252 Spe/4 Def
Adamant (+Atk -SpA)
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch
- Extreme Speed

Now Dragonite has a set that works very different from the same one of Salamence: the CB set. With the new toy (Extremespeed), Dragonite can take on weakened opponents and sweep on his own, dealing lots of damage. Outrage is for STAB and for that huge BP of 180, which is painful also to who resists it. Fire Punch and Earthquake are there for coverage. Aqua Tail is unneeded since i carry Suicune and Latias.

scizor.png

Scizor @ Choice Band
Technician
248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Adamant (+Atk -SpA)
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- U-Turn
- Superpower

Classic set of CBzor, everyone uses it and for a good reason: the various role he can fulfill. Scizor can either Scout (with STAB U-Turn) or trap (with Technician-boosted Pursuit). Bullet Punch is also no joke, a 90 BP priority coming from 591 Atk is scary. Early game i only use U-Turn, fearing Magnezone, who kills the steel insect mercilessly. He is my first switch in to Latias (hoping she doesn't pack HP Fire) and is the glue of the team.

Sorry for the bad english but I'm Italian ^^.
Thanks to everyone reads it, and I hope I could see some fixes on this team!

DD Mence could cause some problems, if he got in enough DD's, but you have him covered pretty good.

Also, i recommend making Jirachi 252 Spe / 252 Att / 6 HP, because the extra speed outweighs the extra HP.

And btw, "Ola" is spelled "Hola".

Have you considered Hydro Pump on Suicune? I've been using it and the benefits are often pretty nice; guaranteed 1hkos on Scizor, Metagross, SpD Tyranitar after a CM, and stuff like Lucario without a boost can definitely be pretty darn useful, as Suicune often likes to come in early.

I would experiment with Modest as well; the guaranteed 1hko on Celebi (and many Latias) is pretty useful. However, I'd say the speed is generally a bit better.

This looks like a solid team but i have one little thing i highly suggest you change on your jirachi. I would give your jirachi fire punch over u-turn because Lucario can really destroy this team if it sets up, especially jolly as it will outspeed suicune. It can set up on Latias stuck on draco meteor, or dragonite stuck on extremespeed.

good luck!

thx a lot!
in bold there are the changes made on the team

sorry for the "hola" thing :P
with that extra speed there is something important that i can outspeed?

Ii have considered both Modest and Hydrop Pump: Hydro Pump has accuracy issues, so it would be a pain if misses (also if the OHKO is nice on that pokimanz). Timid is prefered over Modest so I can outspeed Adamant Lucario

Hydro Pump is not bad but when Suicune gets a Calm Mind then I would rather go with the safer choice in terms of accuracy, Surf, as he is already powerful as he is. Though he may miss some KOs (never calc'd so wouldn't know), he is sure to hit. Oh and as for the suicune's offensive set. While it won't do much against many other OU bulky waters, it will be a monster against many others. :D

Tthis is my thought ^^
Suicune can't afford a miss, especially after a Calm Mind, because Surf alone can dent most opponents, while if Hydro Pumpmisses, all the OHKO became 2HKO (1 missed, 1 hit) or worst

Plus, even running an all-out offensive Suicune, he is plenty bulky to get in 2 CM's most of the time.

And about Jirachi's speed: With 252 Speed, he can outrun Modest Choice Scarfed Latias / Gengar, and the rare (but still deadly) scarfed Infernapes.

Hello there fellow user. After stumbling upon your team, I decided I'd leave you a rate that will hopefully make your team better than it currently is.

Currently, I find that your team's over-dependence on Choice items will in fact slow down your team significantly, as you will be forced to switch more often than not and take more damage from entry hazards. Specifically, I believe that your team would operate better if you were able to maintain better offensive synergy by exchanging some of your current Pokémon for diverse sweepers.

In response to the above, I would like to cover each Pokémon individually as needed and present my thoughts on it.

With Jirachi, it appears that your main objective is to cripple the opposing lead and lay down your own Stealth Rock. However, I don't find Jirachi very effective as doing so, since the majority of the time, the opponent will still have set up Stealth Rock and possibly gained the upper hand. Now, there is another Pokémon that can fill a similar role as Jirachi and allow your team to maintain a better offensive pressure. That Pokémon is...

Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Own Tempo | 252 HP / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SpA)
Spore / Spikes / Stealth Rock / Taunt

By switching to Smeargle, I believe you will be able to accomplish the objectives you specified more effectively. By using Smeargle, you will be able to prevent your opponent from setting up Stealth Rock if they are using a slower lead. Additionally, Spikes will make it easier for Suicune to sweep while further weakening down Celebi, Blissey, and the like.

Next, I think that you should change around your Suicune a little bit, and replace Scizor with Swords Dance Lucario. Before proceeding, let me outline both of the sets for you:

Suicune @ Leftovers
Pressure | 172 HP / 120 SpA / 216 Spe
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
Calm Mind / Surf / Ice Beam / Hidden Power Electric

and...

Lucario @ Life Orb
Inner Focus | 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
Swords Dance / Close Combat / Crunch / ExtremeSpeed

Essentially, you are still using the same Pokémon here, just a different strategy. (BTW replace Scizor for Lucario). Changing Suicune's set to the one above allows you to fake a CroCune set, easily luring in things like Celebi and Zapdos. Combined with Spikes, they don't stand a chance. In turn, this will make it easier for Lucario to sweep as two of its possible checks are out of the picture. Lucario still fulfills the same role as CBScizor, being able to revenge kill Pokémon that could easily plow through you team. Add to the fact that Latias is perfect Pursuit, it should not be difficult at all setting up with Lucario and sweeping.

Anyways, I hope my above rate has helped you. There are other suggestions I had in mind that could help you if you'd like me to share them as well, but it is mainly extra material for the most part. Good luck with the team and don't be afraid to contact me for help!
