I wonder how the competitive community would feel about twitch elements such as those for the mario rpgs coming into pokemon? I personally would hate it in top end play: but the games themselves... trainer battles need to be more interesting.

Nice find! Move Tutor, I hope. Unless I misunderstand that link.

@Deluge: ever considered how the legendary dragon's typing may have factored into their uber status? And I'm eagerly awaiting the Grass/Dragon.

I'm not talking about smogon voting though, I'm talking about GF design.
The difference between Palkia and Kingdra is not their typing but their base stats.

So while many Dragon dual types are potentially awesome, if the stats are suitably scaled, they don't have to be overwhelming.
The 600 BST ones are probably going to be quad weak though.
I also await the Grass/Dragon, the only unique option left, to fill that role.

On another note, Entei finally learns Flare Blitz but as a special move.
It's better than nothing but is a bit of a shame still.
OTOH, the moves for Suicune and Raikou are pretty bad so Entei can stick out its tongue for once.

A Croconaw.

This may surprise you, but now I think about it, I'm disappointed there's an event Entei with Flare Blitz. Because I think that means it will never become part of its usual movepool. At least not in Gen 5. If it were going to be a regular move next gen, why put it as an event now? And the event may well end up being a fixed nature that's a poor choice competitively.

Yay! I hope it never appears on Entei's movepool. But it should on Flareon's in the 5th gen.

Haven't most of the 4th gen events been nature free (as in you can SR for whatever nature?).

Yes, but due to the way the Wondercards are programmed, if you have one with variable Nature, the in-game algorithm will make it so the pokémon will never be shiny. Thus, the only way to distribute shiny pokémon is giving them out with set natures.

Which means this Entei will have either a neutral or a +Atk Nature. I'm rooting for Adamant/Naughty/Lonely.

If I were a GF event manager I'd be all like, "You know what? I think Entei is one Sassy cat, let's make them all Sassy!" :P

Well, I guess more like, 「あ、エンテイ、なんて生意気なやつだ。 (then cool entei should be lonely, and how about making Raikou Brave!?)

Just to screw over anyone actually paying attention to how to play the game. Well, I guess the event Milotics were Timid/Modest which aren't horrible natures . . .

None of these are too great. Zap cannon and sheer cold for obvious reasons, and flare blitz because Entei is still weak to common attacks and stealth rock, not to mention not having intimidate like arcanine. If suicune got water spout that would be another story.

Too bad GF's dead-set on making Suicune seem more "ice-like" than "water-y" (Though it purifies some lake in the 4th movie... Suicune being the North Wind lends itself to being a very confused typed pokémon).

Flareon is DYING for it (Literally).

It doesn't need it, unless by "dying" you mean it will 2HKO itself from using it.
