I havent seen an official Dexter thread so I decided to start one.

This thread will be dedicated to anyone and anything dexter. We can discuss the Characters, If we want someone to get killed off in the next season, anything really.

If you aren't caught up don't read this thread. It will most likely ruin your dexter experience.

So i guess I'll start the thread with a few questions.
Do you agree with the season 4 ending?
What do you think Dexter's downfall will be? If he has one of course
Are you addicted as me to the show? lol


I really liked Rita, I really didn't want her to die, and I was waaayyy not expecting it. I think dexter will eventually turn himself in, Guilt will get him or... maybe he'll kill people in prison, I'm not really sure.

I remember the end of the last season. I didn't really move or
blink as I was in awe of what had happened. I can't wait for the next season!!

Haven't watched the 3rd season, but the first two were excellent. I love the mindgames and the thought process that they gave Hall to mess around with. Great show

Haha. sorry man. I got bitched out on my last dexter thing and was trying to.. you know.. not? lol well it is a great show. season's three and four are as amazing as the first two. get caught up so we can talk about hopefuls in season 5. lol

Shits gonna be stirring up in Dexters life since Rita is now dead, questions relating her death are going to be thrown at Dexter since Trinity encountered him in front of everyone at the station. Also, he will have to come up for an alibi for where he was when he was killing Mitchell.

Also the kids, how Dexter will cope with handling them. In the books, the children start having the same tendencies as Dexter because of what happened between them and their father. Debra also finds out about Dexters secret and struggles to come to terms with it at first. But we know how loyal the books are to the television series (Rita still lives). However with Rita dead, He will have the kids responsibility on his hands (unless they live with their grandparents or with Debra or something, which I think is unlikley) So they might figure out his secret OR they might become like him and he has to teach them to fit in as normal kids and possibly teach them to channel their needs or something
 
Season 4 wrap-up; season 5 predictions
Honestly I see this next season as a huge trial involving Dexter. When a wife or husband is murdered their partner is usually the first one to be suspected. They can't say that Trinity did it for sure, considering that Dexter knows all about the Trinity case. Let's also not forget Dexter has no alibi, since he was murdering Trinity -- he can't exactly say that now can he. Let's also not forget how Quinn now has a huge issue with Dexter, considering Dexter saw him steal and called him dirty, poor move Dex. I was sad Rita had to go, but it was for the best, if there isn't a trial next season then Dexter is going to have to manage all the kids while keeping his Dark Passenger in check.

Over all I'd say season 2 or 4 is my favorite. Season 2 had a lot of wonderful twists and turns, while in season 4 we see how Dexter actually cares about others. The most moving (powerful?) episode is when
Dexter is at Trinities house for Thanksgiving and everything is so fucked up and Dexter tries to help the family

Man, this, or How I Met your Mother is defiantly my favorite show.
 
@apologies you definately should get caught up. It is an amazing show.
@Lisztomania I think that Dexter's baby (can't remember the name for the life of me) will be like Dexter was to Harry. Dexter will teach him to fit in and use his dark passanger for good....ish. It was a great cliffhanger that's for sure.
