I've got alot of experience playing goalkeeper, so I can tell you that what happened was simply a case of the stop being "too easy". Green did have his body behind the ball, but instead of using his body to cradle the shot he tried to catch it with his hands, causing the ball to deflect into the goal rather than back out. I had a similar play happen to me this season, where a corner kick came in and the other team got a good header in. I was in good position to make an easy stop about eye level, but I took it for granted and the ball just bounced right off my hands into the top of the net. Even the best keepers let garbage goals in sometimes, it's just how it goes. England controlled that game far better than the US did though, so we're gonna have to improve our game if we want to make it out of the group.
