3 yellows and a red is just fucking ridiculous. Australia didn't deserve half of those cards.
What are you talking about, the only reason Germany is up 4-0 is because the mighty player called Ozil. If Ballack was there he would have taken Ozil's place, and imo that would have meant Germany would have scored not only less but played overall worse.
Ozil will do a better job than Ballack.
özil would have played anyway. khedira plays besides schweinsteiger instead of ballack.
Guess who I got as my sweepstake team at work? May be the only tournament that my second team are the Germans. Frightening efficiency and once the Aussies went down to 10 men, it was like a training ground routine. özil was very good, played some nice disguised passes and generally ran them ragged down the channels.
Ozil and Ballack play in different positions, and if Ballack was fit, both would have played.

What made me laugh is how every single time a german passed the ball in 3/4ths of the field ALL of the australian defense went "OFFSIDE DUDE". And every time they lost the ball they said "FUCK" without any remorse.
GG Germany! That Ozil guy was great. Poor Cahill though :(

I don't know anything about soccer, but that was a sweet match! I was very impressed by the way the Germans just cleaned up. Everything went downhill for Australia after the guy (Cahill?) got red carded too. Also the fucking vuvuzela image is so true. They did it all through the match, drowning out rainymood and the commentary on my stream. It was just a persistent, meaningless buzz. So stupid and annoying, especially since I could, like, hear the spit in the horns.
Looking forward to Denmark vs. Netherlands tomorrow, since it seems to be quite the exciting match!

If anything, it seemed like practice to them, lol, the Australians were sort of meandering around after BIG THIRD GOAL. I enjoyed how the Germans passed the ball frequently to each other so, to use Mekkah's word, harmoniously.

GG Serbia, they will have a difficult time thanks to that, they will have to get points out of Germany.
About noise, i wonder how the africans can stand their own vuvuzela noise, they never stop. It is annoying indeed.
For tomorrow, i expect Holland, Cameroon to win, and a draw with Italy and Paraguay. Good matches!

To be honest, I didn't think Australia played too badly compared with some of there performance in Asia qualifying against worse team. I felt Cahill received a harsh red, it was a late challenge but only worthy of a yellow in my opinion. Pim's Tactic's were very questionable without starting a striker and leaving our most creative midfielder Bresciano on the bench. Joshua Kennedy probably should've started and could have taken use of the coupld of crosses from the right flank in the first half. Nevertheless Germany are much better team and deserved the win. I'm still an optimist and believe that we can beat Ghana and draw against Serbia and hope that Germany win there remaining games. I hope we drop Craig Moore and Vince Grella they played awful :(.

yes Australi played poorly vs New Zealand in a warm up match, did not think they would be this bad though. They played pretty poor and will need to work hard to notch up a win in their group.
