NFL Weekly Predictions Challenge

After three straight weeks with 10+ wins, I'm back down to 9-7. Total is 94-52.
11 - 5, but that's not that great, except it might be on the higher end of things this week.
13-3, looks like one of the best records this week
Just to let everyone know I am out sick today so I don't have access to my spreadsheet. I will post this week's matchups today but I won't be able to update the standings until tomorrow.

San Francisco at San Diego - Thank goodness I have San Diego defense on my fantasy team :)
Buffaro at Miami - Not sure what's wrong with Miami, but I like Buffaro for the road upset.
Detroit at Tampa Bay - Eh, I would love to pick Detroit, but I can't be bold with picks anymore.
Arizona at Carolina - Arizona doesn't travel well.
New Orleans at Baltimore - New Orleans vs Pittsburgh 2.0.
Jacksonville at Indianaporis - Not twice in one season, sorry.
Philadelphia at New York Giants - Sneaking suspicion the Giants will win...
Cleveland at Cincinnati - Had to change this because McCoy is starting now.

Washington at Dallas - Dallas is semi legit again, and the Redskins are...well, the Redskins.

Chicago at Minnesota - I had a little faith in Tarvaris left, but it looks like Minnesota needs to start looking toward the draft.

Texans at Titans - I feel real bad for the Texans. They have so much potential, but their head coach has as much intelligence than an empty soda can. The Titans are an absolute mess and I think they quit on Fisher.
Jaguars at Colts - The Jaguars inept secondary just made Jason Campbell look like Dan Marino. I think Peyton is a little better than Campbell.
Chiefs at Rams - The Chiefs are the AFC Seahawks: good at home, bad on the road.
Bills at Dolphins - Henne won't go 5/18 for 55 yards (netting 30) against the Bills, but he has zero confidence ever since he was benched. The Bills will take advantage of this.
Eagles at Giants - The Giants are getting healthier and they looked like the best team in the NFL when they were at 100%.
Lions at Buccaneers - The Lions haven't won a road game since 2007. The Bucs may have lost Aqib Talib, but Drew Stanton is beyond terrible.
Cardinals at Panthers- This is the NFC "Championship" for Toilet Bowl XLV. The Cardinals are not as incompetent as the Panthers, so I'll pick them I guess.
Saints at Ravens - Matt Schaub exposed the Ravens' defense. Wanna bet Drew took notes?
Falcons at Seahawks - Upset special. Matt Ryan plays poorly on the road and Qwest Field is one of the best homefield advantages.
Broncos at Raiders - The Broncos entire defensive line is going to have nightmares about playing Darren McFadden again. He posted 209 total yards on just nineteen touches last week.
Jets at Steelers - Sanchez is going to picking grass out of his helmet all week after this. He's playing like a wounded zebra and Harrison, Woodley and Polamalu are playing like hungry lions.
Packers at Patriots - The Packers don't stand a chance without Rodgers. The last time Brady lost a regular season home game was on November 12, 2006.
Bears at Vikings - Fire the Giants defensive line and now Julius Peppers again? No wonder Favre doesn't want to play anymore.

San Francisco at San Diego: Fuck it I want the upset, if the Raiders can do it of all team, no reason Niners can't. If the Defense can to play as thoroughly dominantly as they did against the Broncos and showed flashes of in the past, I think they can pull it off. That and it's my secret desire for Chargers to lose just to prove the point that they can't keep making strong last month surges to win their previously-weak division
Buffaro at Miami: Dunno really, could go either way, but I think Miami will pull ahead
Detroit at Tampa Bay: Detriot = horrible away team. Plus TB is so much better
Arizona at Carolina: Panther's best bet is to just lose and secure themselves a nice high draft pick next year. Who would have thought though that these 2 playoff teams from only a few years ago would be bottom dwellers again? To think it all started with a 4 pick game from then-QB Delahome...
New Orleans at Baltimore: Unless the Ravens can get their offense moving as well, I think the Saints can outscore them despite the tough Ravens defense to win
Jacksonville at Indianapolis: Not betting against the Colts at home
Philadelphia at New York Giants: I think they can take the rematch, but we'll see, Giants are no pushovers
Cleveland at Cincinnati: Against the faltering Bengals, I like the Brown's chances
Houston at Tennessee: Loser bowl here, though I'm channeling Houston as the winner
Washington at Dallas: I still think the Redskins are vastly improved (besides defense) from last year's version, but the Cowboys are apparently still trying to be the spoiler team for everyone else...oh well, not like the Redskins were in postseason contention anyways
Kansas City at St Louis: Rams are ok, but KC should have Cassel back, which should mean a win
Atlanta at Seattle: Lol Seattle
New York Jets at Pittsburgh: Jets can't get that offense going, and Steelers have it going on along with the defense to compete. Really Jets, are you trying to squeak in at 9-7 again? That isn't happening >.>
Denver at Oakland: Oakland for postseason? Still possible, though losing last week's game cost them a chance to catch up with the Chiefs, and need a lot of luck for them to drop the next 2 easy games
Green Bay at New England: This is largely dependent on Rodgers, if he's healthy I'm going with Green Bay regardless of how favorable the Patriots are in this matchup. Otherwise, Packers don't have a chance in hell without him really
Chicago at Minnesota: Jackson isn't bad so far, but I think Bears are a bit pissed at losing so lamely to the Patriots, so they'll come out firing
Might change some depending on injures of course.
Buffaro at Miami: Dunno really, could go either way, but I think Miami will pull ahead

San Diego is a much better team overall, should have no problems with San Francisco. Miami is still a credible threat, shouldn't be too hard to beat Buffalo. Tampa Bay is still quite good, Detroit is ok at best. Arizona vs. Carolina might just be the worst game of the year - Arizona gets the minor edge here. Baltimore looks worse each game - New Orleans looks better every minute. I'm picking Jacksonville because I don't believe Peyton can carry his team to the win against MJD. Michael Vick et al is still one of the best teams in the league, and I can't pick the Giants when they might not have Bradshaw. Cinci is still one of the worst teams in the league, and their losing streak will continue against Cleveland. Houston has some serious bad luck, but Tennessee still has way to many issues. Dallas vs. Washington is a tough pick, but Dallas is still a better team than the Redskins.
I don't think Cassell will be quite ready for this game, and he definitely won't be at 100%. Atlanta has proven that they are the best team in the NFC, while Seattle continues in their mediocrity. I believe in my Jets, goddammit - if they don't get it together now, they won't be able to do so. Also, I think our blitz packages will be able to take out Big Ben early, as he is already banged up. I can't win with my Oakland picks, but I still believe they are better than Denver. It is foolish to pick against the Patriots at this point - they are the best team in the NFL right now. Finally, Chicago is a much better team than Minnesota, and Minnesota is definitely not used to playing outside or without Favre.

-Bungalow Bill has moved up to 4th place, part of a charge he's mounted in the last four weeks with some consistently high marks that brought him from the lower half of the field into the elites.
-Somebody has extended his lead to 2 games, the largest gap a leader has enjoyed all season. He's looking like a favorite to win this with his consistently good marks each week.
-Echo. made a move this week too, a 12-4 mark being good enough to put him in 5th place. This move was also aided by Zangetsu, Shinryu, and Slyguy46's mistakes (all 3 posted 9-7 records)
-kd24 and I remained in exactly the same place, posting respectable (but still not good enough) 11-5 records. Seven games out of first place, it seems unlikely that I'll make it, but there's still a chance right?
