5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

OK so I have a couple questions. First off let me give you my information. I am rnging cobalion for ivs. I am hitting the right delay and everything and when i check its ivs and check adjacent results in seed to time. IT comes out right. However I do not understand how to effectively advance the frame to what is needed.
Also the spread I originally was rnging for I could not find again well the exact spread with the same delay and everything. anyhow this is the one I am using now.

Seed: 84153B61
Frame:49
IVS: 30/31/31/30/31/31
HP: GRASS 70
DELAY: 1743
Date:march 16,2011
TIME: 14:45:39
MACC ADDRESS:00-24-1E-07-34-87 (however i just have the last part 6 digits entered into the mac address box.)

Thats all the information. Mainly i just need to know ho wto advance the frame and still have everything else be right.

Haven't been on here in some days to check, just beat the 8th gym. So I have 2 questions about the research progress.

I know we still can only RNG IVs at the moment (sucks, a shiny Zekrom RNG would definitely tell me if I got it).

Has the new RNG Reporter come out?

Has any progress been made on Non-C-gear RNG?

Shiny Zekrom is impossible.

No new reporter yet.

Non-C-Gear is still in the same place. Yeah.. not much different.

Well, it's only been over a week since I checked. I'd just heard the new one was coming last Sunday.

And what the hell? Will any legends show up shiny in this game?

Btw, how long it takes for you guys to hit your seed usually in B/W (if you're not using an emulator)? :s I've been trying to hit my seed around 45 minutes now... which is about 20-30 tries in a row. I'm just wondering if I'm just very bad, very unlucky (sometimes my computer messes up with EonTimer for unknown reason) or is it just normal to not hit seed that often. I actually managed to hit my seed ONCE but I forgot to use repels and... Oh well I wanted to throw my ds to the wall very badly.

This happened to me the very first night I tried RNG abuse on my Black Cart. What seed are you going for (and MAC address, for that matter)? What is the seconds and delay value you are aiming for? It seems that 50 sec works the most people, and the offset in EonTimer is -51 for me, for others larger, up to -95. Obviously that's a huge range, so what you have to do in the Seed to Time box is extend your range to something like:

seconds: -2 to +2
delay: -100 + 100

That makes it much more likely you'll find the seed you are hunting so you can adjust your offset as accurately as possible. Also make sure to set your clock to whatever EonTimer tells you to before the seed! For example, if you are going for delay of 1823 and 50 seconds at 5:25:50 (completely arbitrary but you get the point), it'll tell you to start 0 minutes, meaning you should start at 5:25:00. Now, let's say the seed you hit is at a delay of 1890. Put that in the actual time box on EonTimer, and it will adjust your offset appropriately. Click "Save" so you don't have to do it every time.

That's about all I can tell you for now, so frankly you are going to have to figure it out from here :-/ Good luck!

English version of what? We have RNG Reporter, and IVs are the only important thing we NEED to RNG for. Shininess is preference and you can view the Nature so you'll know if you need to try again.

I hope you don't mean English version of Black/White.

As I've been told, apparently people WILL be using RNGd pokes in the VGC thsi year, one problem, how do we get them if we don't have a Japansese version!?

Anyone know how long until an English version comes out?
Otherwise I'll beusing a Ditto and praying for the best results.
C-Gear RNG is the same for Japanese and English, so you can already RNG for IVs in English. You just have to Synchronize/SR/whatever for nature and ability.

No, but you can go for shiny with excellent IVs, not necessarily flawless. When going for IVs I usually don't care about either ATK or Sp ATK (whichever I'm not using can be anything unless I seek a Hidden Power)

Ah you mean use a Sychronize ability poke!?
And how would that work with eggs?
Synch only works on Battles.

HOWEVER:
50/50 chance of transferring nature if the MOTHER is holding an everstone, so get a female or a ditto of the nature (whichever won't be the male in the relationship_

Ah you mean use a Sychronize ability poke!?
And how would that work with eggs?

It doesn't. You need one of the parents with the nature you want holding an everstone to give it a 50% chance of passing down the nature (or is it 40%?).

@Reaga: gender doesn't matter in this gen. Both can pass down nature if holding an everstone.

Correct, once you have that set up (with some form of power item this gen), you just RNG.

And apparently the female part doesn't matter 5th gen, I was used to 4th.

(with some form of power item this gen),
1. Oh, I can't transfer them over from Silver, guess I'll have to got the Battle Subway.
2. Wont that just passdown 1 stat's IVs? How would I get it near flawless/flawless then.

I am attempting to RNG a Reshiram at N's Castle. I have a few questions on the frame advancement via walking. When going through a door, does the movement count as 1 step? (I'm starting at the PC in N's Castle). Also, when going up a staircase, the animation displays you going up the first step, transitions, and going up the last step. Does this still only count as a single step? Finally, does the 128 step counter reset every time you exit the game, or is it carried over between saves? The path to Reshiram from the PC in N's Castle is a bit more than 128 steps, so if the counter is carried over, I'd need to walk 256 steps (and change the number of Pokemon in my party and/or the number of Pokemon I withdraw from the PC) to be safe, right?

Thanks for any help!

The minimum should be 11. 3(c-gear)+8(egg)=11.

Also, long time, no see.

No. Minimum is 10. You're including the theoretical frame of 0 twice.

For C-Gear breeding: advancements = target frame - 10.

Let me explain where you get that. You cannot hit the theoretical frame of 0, so automatically that's 1. Turning on the C-Gear advances by 2, so now you're at 3. For some reason, receiving an egg counts as withdrawing a mon. Withdrawing a Pokémon advances by 7. So 3 + 7 = 10.
