here comes this season's vermaelen

What the fuck are those incompetents in our med team doing. I kind of wish Wenger rested wilshere at the end of last season, obvious we weren't gonna compete for shit. Now hes all worn out and in the hands of our terrible med team.
 
Yeah, apparently Wilshere was playing with an injury for the last 2 months of last season. Still managed to be our best player. I was so looking forward to him coming back :(
 
This is pretty bad news for wilshere. i hope his progress isn't halted because i was hoping kenny would bid for him in the summer when arsenal get shit all.

edit: interesting stuff as well, gooners brace yourselves: Robin van Persie, Theo Walcott, Thomas Vermaelen and Andrei Arshavin enter their final year of their contracts at the end of the season. expect a good old raid from the vultures.
 
^Yup I can imagine that happening soon.Empathising with the players you mentioned(actually every Arsenal player) I don't see why they'd stay if someone made a bid for them.Arsenal might get lucky if no one bids for them but that seems highly unlikely for RVP.He played pretty good in the majority of their games.Expecting a bid for him in the near future.I know for one thing that we won't be bidding for him;We're overloaded with strikers with five fighting for their position.Let.s wait and see where these players go if they do get bid on.
 
There must be something wrong with the way Arsenal train or the physio team there suck.. they are always rushing back injured players and then paying for it later on. I think the only one they got about right was Ramsey. Eduardo came back too early and got moved on not long after, if RVP gets touched he's out for 3 weeks, Vermallen missed basically the whole of last and now the start of this season, Wilshere's out for god knows how long... what is up.
 
Wouldn't really give too much of a shit about Arshavin, Walcott can be just as bad but at least he's still young.....

lol Wilshere to liverpool. Somehow I really cant imagine it happening, or am I just deluding myself...

Not even gonna respond to Liverpool bidding for Wilshere.

Arshavin will probably go to that rich Russian club to milk away his final years. That's fine by me. Walcott will leave if he isn't playing through the middle soon, probably to a mid table club. I'm kind of saddened by this because he should be played through the middle and we would be short on strikers if RVP leaves.

RVP is the big one because Milan, Munich fuck probably even Madrid or Barcelona will go for him. The only way we can keep him is to up his wages to the max we can afford and more while staying in the CL and competing for the title. It would be sad to see him go but I can't help get the feeling that he is getting more and more frustrated at the club.

Vermaelen is probably an even bigger deal than RVP because he's our best defender and probably the only natural leader in the squad (apart from Wilshere and Frimpong but they're too young). I really hope he doesn't go and it always feels like he's got some unfinished business at Arsenal seeing as he has barely played in the last couple of years. Plus most teams don't need experienced defenders (apart from Arsenal) so I can't see any of the top teams bidding for him. Will be devastating if he leaves cos we would have nothing left at the back but I think he will stay.

what are you talking about? wilshere is exactly the player dalglish would want. young and british the way he likes them. we could give you some young french midfielder and everyone's happy.

as for the wolves game at anfield, im pretty happy i guess. gerrard made his first pl appearance in god knows how long. him and carroll looked very sharp. suarez was amazing as usual, topped it off with a goal but i hope he's dropped for the next game because i was pissed off with the way he reacted to being substituted. nobody's bigger than the club.

Did you play Arsenal, Man Utd, Man City and Liverpool (along with QPR and Norwich) in your first 6 games? We've got Chelsea at home next too.

Nah I think you might do, I don't think people realise that Bolton's poor form isn't just from this run of bad games, it goes back quite a long way and if they hadn't started so well they could've been in the relegation fight last year. Take Elmander out of the equation and it only gets worse!

Also leeds too strong, fucking mccormack (though i doubt anyone else here cares about the championship any more)
