Clear Skies, it's been a while.

Tbh, I love this team. It has won me a lot and lost a few. I've forced many rage quits with this teams. While creating this team, I followed Faladran's video with a little edition, I made some pokes have two roles on a team except one. So the link to his vid is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfgxkZ8HXmg

Oh btw, my format for the stats is the one on the official Smogon BW Pokedex. Just like for my first poke, http://www.smogon.com/bw/pokemon/azelf

So, let's start!

Azelf@Choice Band
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Moves:
~Zen Headbutt
~Fire Punch
~Ice Punch
~U-turn

This Azelf is one of my two leads. The other being Forretress. Well my leads are sorta obvious so I ran a CB set to surprise my opponents. Against common leads like Deo-S, I just U-turn out because it's a solid OHKO. They will think that I'll set up SR but no. So when they Taunt me, they'll lose a poke and the game will start off with a 6-5 lead. Having access to all elemental punches is also a good thing. Ice Punch is mainly for Gliscor and Dragonite. Fire Punch is for any Steel-type Pokemon who try to resist your STAB. Thunder Punch is an option against bulky Water-types but I have my Magnezone for that. U-turn is good for scouting and to maintain offensive momentum. I also use it for scouting and to kill other Psychic-types who try to come in.

170px-534Conkeldurr.png

Conkeldurr@Leftovers
Nature: Brave
Ability: Guts
IVs: 0 Spe
EVs: 120 HP/ 252 Atk / 136 SpD
Moves:
~Bulk Up
~Drain Punch
~Mach Punch
~Payback

The classic bulk up set. Although very predictable, it's still quite hard to stop. Once you get into action, rarely anything can stop you. Ghost- and Psychic-types giving you headache? There's Payback. You rarely see any Physical Ghost- and Psychic-types so that's kind of a downfall for this Pokes since it's SpD is very low. This guy is also capable of killing Pshychic-type pokes when they manage to survive Azelf's CB U-turn. Just hit 'em with Mach Punch.

215px-205Forretress.png

Forretress@Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Strudy
IVs: 0 Spe
EVs: 252 HP/ 176 Def / 80 SpD
Moves:
~Stealth Rock
~Spikes
~Rapid Spin
~Gyro Ball

Ahh, Forry. One of my Defensive trio. Since everybody knows what a Forretress does, I won't be explaining much. This is my only entry hazard poke and my spinner so it's very valuable to me and I keep it alive as long as I can in a single battle.

images

(This image is from deviant art since the one in Bulbapedia is female and I don't like a pink Jellicent.)

Jellicent@Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spe
Moves:
~Scald
~Will-O-Wisp
~Recover
~Taunt

Another of my Defensive trio. It covers the Fire-type weakness of my Forry and Fighting-type weakness of my Blissey. I usually switch into this to make my opponents' Hi Jump Kick miss and make 'em lose half of their base HP which is good especially when you see that hate face of theirs and you're just there trolling. The first two moves are there to burn stuff. Although it's a little redundant, I find it useful when I don't want to miss my Will-O-Wisp and just use Scald. 30% is pretty high in Pokemon so Scald is an option.

160px-242Blissey.png

Blissey@Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Moves:
~Wish
~Protect
~Seismic Toss
~Toxic

She's THE pink fat blob who everyone loves. Blissey completes my defensive trio! Long hailed as the best special wall in the game but now faces problems with the Psychic-types that usually just makes her laugh thanks to Psyshock. But that wont let me stop from using this Poke. With her titanic HP, she is able to withstand hits and just heal off with Wish+Protect combo. Or just pass it around with the new mechanics of Wish.

462Magnezone.png

Magnezone@Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Ability: Manet Pull
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
EVs: 36 HP / 252 SpA / 220 Spe
Moves:
~Substitute
~Thunderbolt
~Hidden Power Fire
~Flash Cannon

Magnezone, the poke who kills every single Pokemon who usually gives me trouble. These Pokemon are Scizor, Ferrothorn, Dragonite and Tornadus. The first three moves are obvious. The last is chosen for hitting Dragon-types for normal damage because otherwise, they'll wall me. For Dragonite, I jsut use Thunderbolt because it is neutral and is my strongest move against it unless it happens to Roost.

So yea, this is pretty much it! Please rate and comment because I will appreciate them even if they are negative ones. Just don't make the negative ones so annoying and irritating.

Hey there,

It looks like a pretty good team. My suggestion is removing Flash Cannon for Charge Beam, to set-up against Ferro & Scizor.
Also I'd replace Jellicent for some more attacking water poke, since you already have Blissey and Forre as walls.

Furthermore it seems a pretty good team.

Jellicent needs to stay on the team, 3 pokemon on his team are weak to fighting, and the only other resist on the team is azelf, who can't actually take a hit. That makes Jellicents role in the team very important.

It seems like a nice team, it doesn't have any weaknesses that i can see right off the bat.

I think that the standard scarfed Landorus could be a viable replacement for your Azelf because it essentially covers the same threats that you mentioned, has a better stab move, and has weaknesses that are covered more effectively by your team. Also, Landorus can't be paralyzed, and any burns via scald can be translated into HP by your Jellicent. The one advantage of using Azelf is the extra power of the band, but I don't think that Landorus would miss that too much. As an added benefit, Landorus can also help take out a few of the threats you mentioned under Magnezone.

Good luck with the team, it seems pretty cool.

Why the heck are you using Foretress when Ferrothorn outclasses Foretress, defenses wise, offense wise, and even to the point with synergy with Jellicent. Nothing on your team takes a lot of damage from hazards so rapid spin will not even be missed.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Nature: (+Def/-Spe)
Effort Values: 252 Hp/252 Def/4 SpD

~ Spikes
~ Stealth Rock
~ Power Whip
~ Gyro Ball

I am no fan with using Azelf in OU, but honestly I ain't gonna try and stop you. Magnezone isn't the best special sweeper, and I recommend Latios over it as it can easily HP Fire Scizor, Ferrothorn. It can thunderbolt Tornadus, and Draogn Pulse/Draco Meteor takes care of Dragonite. Latios + Conkeldurr have a nice synergy going too, but you can use magnezone...

Latios @ Expert Belt
Nature: Timid
Effort Values: 252 SpA/252 SpE/4 Hp

~ Dragon Pulse
~ Thunderbolt
~ Hidden Power (Fire)
~ Psychic/Psychock/Recover

Couldn't help myself, I recommend giving that Latios a shot. Also,

Azelf? It troubles me to see it on this team as it has no place. Why not just lead off with Politoed, replace t-bolt for thunder, and make this team a lot stronger? With the title, I know that is not what you want so eh.

Blissey is kind of odd-ballish with this team, but it could work.

I wish this team luck :)
You can ask me to rate again if you wish to run weather, up to you though, this is the best (well, maybe not, I am tired) I can do for this team.

Umm I'll get walled by dragons if I use Charge Beam. I tried it already. As for Jellicent, what Choice Socks said is true. My pokes can't take Fighting-type attacks.

For Forry, if I remove him, the entry hazard Toxic Spikes is so gonna kill me. I've won like 2-3 1v1 situations with Blissey and I can't afford her to get poisoned by that entry hazard. Blissey also gets 2HKOed by a lot of attacks if she gets hurt by SR. So removing those hazards can give me a lot of advantage. Magnezone is just there since my team is totally weak to Scizor. Not even Azelf can take a hit and KO with Fire Punch so Magnezone's HP fire is a great help. As for the reason of Azelf, it's to hit hard and I usually OHKO walls with hazards up. U-turn, as I said, keeps my offensive momentum. If I doubt that Azelf will kill and opposing Poke, I just U-turn out and switch to either one of my sweepers.

To everyone who is still wondering about my Magnezone, let's just say that it's just there to be the "glue" of my team.

If you haven't watched Faladran's vid, I'm gonna summarize my team in his way and mine.

Lead-Forretress
2nd Lead-Azelf
Core 1-Forretress(defensive), Azelf(offensive)
Core 2-Jellicent(defensive), Conkeldurr(offensive)
Core 3-Blissey(defensive), Magnezone(offensive)
Glue-Magnezone

Like I said in the first post, some of my Pokes have 2 roles on this team.

Azelf@Choice Band
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Moves:
~Zen Headbutt
~Fire Punch
~Ice Punch
~U-turn
Great

Conkeldurr@Leftovers
Nature: Brave
Ability: Guts
IVs: 0 Spe
EVs: 120 HP/ 252 Atk / 136 SpD
Moves:
~Bulk Up
~Drain Punch
~Mach Punch
~Payback
Maybe Stone Edge > Payback, i'll explain why

Forretress@Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Strudy
IVs: 0 Spe
EVs: 252 HP/ 176 Def / 80 SpD
Moves:
~Stealth Rock
~Spikes
~Rapid Spin
~Gyro Ball
Magnezone and Wynaut are really common in Clear Skies, Volt Switch > Gyro Ball may be cool

Jellicent@Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spe
Moves:
~Scald
~Will-O-Wisp
~Recover
~Taunt
Trick Room > Taunt would be amazing. Forretress and Conkeldurr are slow as ass, so a temporary TR is really useful

Blissey@Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Moves:
~Wish
~Protect
~Seismic Toss
~Toxic
You are quite weak at Toxic, and Magnezone and Azelf don't like to be paralyzed, so try Aromatherapy > Protect

Magnezone@Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Ability: Manet Pull
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
EVs: 36 HP / 252 SpA / 220 Spe
Moves:
~Substitute
~Thunderbolt
~Hidden Power Fire
~Flash Cannon
CHOICE SCARF! Magnezone can kill everything if Timid + Choice Scarf. If so, Volt Switch > Substitute. Then, if you think power > accuracy, Thunder > Thunderbolt (i use it in OU because, while battling vs a rain, it's 100%)

I'll try the Trick Room. However, I don't see a good use for Aromatherapy yet and Conk is my status absorber(other than sleep) and Choice Scarf for Magnezone sorta makes a contradiction with TR

Latias will just add more probs cause she's weak to Scizor or TTar. This team is mainly to kill those two. Talk about Azelf luring the two then Magnezone and Conk can kill. Latias will do the same role of luring except she has no moves to kill either other than HP Fire, if she carries it. As for Azelf, there's Fire Punch to hit Scizor and U-turn to hit TTar. Although U-turn can't kill(unless on a certain range), I can just switch to Conk.
