5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

I'm trying to catch a perfect Darumaka in the Desert Resort entrance, and I can't seem to get the PIDRNG frame to work. Based on the seed I'm using, RNG Reporter predicts the initial frame to be 45. However, when I successfully hit the standard seed, the initial frame was 53. I was aiming for frame 56, but when I tried again, hit the standard seed, and used Chatot 3 times to advance the frame, I got frame 76. Are there some moving NPCs that I'm not aware of? Or is there something else wrong?

NPCs (if you haven't faced them or you did but left the area) and the Sandstorm (if you haven't stopped it) are ruining your advancements.
 
I'm having trouble RNG the Victini that was released today (it's the same as the one back in December). I believe that I am entering all of the data into PPRNG correctly, but for some reason I haven't hit my seed once (out of at least a dozen times) and normally I don't have any trouble hitting them.

Is there something wrong with the way I have it set up, or should I just keep trying to hit the seed that I choose? Oh yeah, and I am in the pokemon league center so there are no wandering npc's

At first glance, your setup looks fine. Please give the details of which seed you are trying to hit (date, time, timer0, buttons, frame#) as well as the details of what you are getting. Also, have you tried using the Adjacents tab in the Wondercard Seed Inspector to find which frame you are hitting?

I have since given up on that for now, but if when I try again I experience the same problems I will include of the information you requested. I'm sorry but I wasn't sure exactly what it was I should include and tried to be as detailed as I could. Thanks for your response, I'm sure I'll be back.
 
so for pokemon from a mystery gift, like mewtwo and the darkrai.. what setting do i use? gift? stationary?


nvm, a little searching did me good.. i love how even after taking a long break of RNGing.. you're able to pick it right back up.

So i finally picked up and have got kind of an understing of RNGing in black and white. I'm planning on RNGing an axew from the first floor of mistralton cave but the encounter slot page isn't working atm. can anyone hook me up with someplace else i could go or does anyone by chance know his encounter slot off the top of their head?
 
Well, for some reason the site is working fine for me even though it seems to be down for everyone else, so I can tell you that Axew is in slots 5/7/9/11.
 
Hey guys. New here, and completely new to RNGing as of today. No idea what i'm doing. I'm trying to find my DS parameters but its not finding anything. Synced my 3DS to the clock on my computer, Put in the MAC address, DS type, and pokemon version, and the exact time i pressed on my game, caught the Terrakion i saved in front of earlier, found its IV's and clicked search but it just doesn't find anything. Anybody know whats going on?

Did you turn on the C-Gear at any point, and are you using 24-hour time?

That might shed some light voodoo. Most likely not putting the right seconds because I did a search on PPRNG using this info, and the result that shows up is not likely for a 3DS.
 
DW Arceus, is that a Stationary Pokemon, or a Gift Pokemon?

(noticed that was in a different spot, checking to see if it works on any type of different methods or things)

Thanks for the encounter slot links i <3 you. so I rnged my first egg today now was going to possibly move on to wondercards, the much more difficult than breeding RNG?

It should be the same as any other Entralink mon.

It's actually easier, if you do it at the Pokémon League where there's no moving NPCs. Otherwise it's pretty much the same as breeding - hit your seed, advance to your target PID frame, then talk to the delivery guy.
 
On the subject of Entralink RNG, when I search for IVs it gives me no results, even going 9999/9 in both directions. I vaguely remember reading something that said the starting frame for Entralink can change, is there any information regarding this?

Advice was gonna be the same: expand your IV frame. Might have tripped a second "128 = x amount frame advancement."
 
That's what I was thinking of, must have missed it. But it doesn't matter either way, I expanded my frame search to 1-50 and still got no results. I'm considering the possibility that there's a bug in Seed to Time in 9.96, anyone else had success with it?

Edit: went back to 9.95, got a totally different set of results in Time Finder and hit a nearby delay on my first try.
 
no where to get rng reporter

I've been looking for rng reporter 9.0+ but doesn't seem available anywhere. every link I've found to it goes to eggmoves.com, which says that the domain name has expired and is pending renewal or deletion...

is there anywhere i can get rng reporter elsewhere? or could someone upload it for me?
