LoL abramovich. i can at least understand the sacking of AVB and others, but sacking RDM after 8 months, srsly? still, the world goes on, and i hope the new manager, prolly Rafa Benitez, fixes the club's main issues. too bad chelsea doesnt have man utd's luck on the champions league

Chelsea should get a manager they deserve, one that will put Abramovich's hard earnt money to astute signings - Kenny Dalglish is the man.

fukin lol

I feel bad for laughing so hard because the man is a legend but apart from suarez, his signings were terrible.

We spent a bit more than Juventus in that summer to get both of us into the champions league. Obvious who spent the money more wisely.

A disgrace, Matteo going. He will always go down as a legend. I mean, he won the Champion's League and FA Cup last season, and now gets the sack so soon. Abramovich needs to realise that his idea of all-out-attack football is rubbish and shouldn't be forced upon the managers. We conceded goals due to Abramovich's idea, not Di Matteo. And I feel that Matteo was right to leave out Torres, as his lack of form serves no purpose, and Hazard's inclusion at least gives us a little more defence. For the next unlucky manager (Rafa Benitez looks ever more likely), I hope we buy not only Falcao, but some solid strikers who aren't from massive clubs. I hear that Drogba has requested a loan to Chelsea, which is crazy but could benefit Chelsea in the short term. We certainly need his firepower and physical presence.

As for Torres' hate, sure he's been poor, but selling him would further damage our attacking prowess. Lukaku is a player which I can see being called back from loan sometime soon, he's playing pretty well at the moment.

In other news, Shakhtar Donesk's win against was Norsdjaelland wasn't a disgrace. Adriano's goal was unsporting and poor, but the team was going to win it anyway. This relates back to Germany 4-1 England. Lampard's goal wouldn't change much, but still people complain about it.

I've said this before, but I really hope Celtic get through their group. They've actually been unlucky, what with not winning that Barcelona game, but getting through would be great for their team spirit, and a huge achievement.

I'm just hoping Chelsea get out of Europa League as soon as possible, it's a waste of time. If they decide to actually try, a win against Liverpool would always be nice...

Also, I'm thinking of a new team similar to FC United of Manchester, to protest against Abramovich's stereotypical Russian ways. Haha, that would be great.

Don't worry guys, I'm finished.

Woah.....somebody help me out here......how does 3rd in the league, just four points behind the leaders and the possibility of bowing out in the CL group stages undermine winning the Champons League ,something that many men before him tried and failed(including the great Mourinho),and an Fa cup. What is especially admirable is how he did it with the poor resources at his disposal and the state in which AVB left the club. When will Abramovich learn that nobody's perfect.....

of course Lampards goal would have changed things.
2-2 at half time from nothing makes a hell of a differance :P

always the managers never the players.
and anyway glad Chelsea changed managers, they usualy play better in the enxt match. hoping that is what happens.

Benitez actually confirmed...cannot wait to see this play out

end well this will not

power struggle between benitez and roman who are both control freaks

fans are not happy, a club legend was sacked only to be replaced by someone they hate.

i like rafa. hopefully, he does well (except against liverpool).

Chelsea... lol
How long ago was Di Matteo's fate decided that they can just instantly bring Benitez in? If I was Benitez I would troll the fuck out of Abramovic by non-sensical team selection and playing players out of position until they're in the relegation places. He's not gonna be there for long anyway so why try? You get your fat pay-cheque quicker if you get fired than if you try to do a good job anyway!

Didn't watch the match but good to hear Wilshere got a goal! Gibbs back from injury as well. Frimpong got loaned to Charlton, hopefully he does well there and we can soon play Wilshere and Frimpong together! Arsenal are near enough full strength now, just need Diaby and Rosicky to come back.

fuck the champions league, we just got new owners :D

see you soon premiership! (probably not)

Yeah Wilshere got a goal but Podolski's was so much better, defense played well and we used Verm on the left side and it worked just fine. And Szcsesny is finally back, Vito Mannone is the death of Arsenal.

Also Phalanx, you prob want Man City to qualify for Europa League.

I'm just loling at chelsea, it's like the owner was thinking 'gee my team is almost certainly going to win the league this year, how can I fuck this up?' Oh well, guess man shitty is set to win it again.

Honestly, Chelsea are the most unprofessional club I have ever seen. Their owner is a joke, their captain is a racist, and then they accuse a referee of racism and don't even apologise when they are proven wrong.

Last year at old trafford, an anton ferdinand own goal gave his brother's team the win over qpr.

this year, when anton ferdinand comes on as a sub, his team is winning 0-1 but he's at fault for both goals that put utd 2-1 up.

coincidence? I know he's a terrible player and a championship standard defender at best but i refuse to believe that a professional footballer can be this bad.
