are you being sarcastic
Every NFL suspension from now until the end of time must be compared to Tom Brady's, even if there are absolutely no commonalities between them. That's the rule.

Also the NFL obviously leaked this to ESPN to gauge public reaction because they are an organization of the utmost integrity.

Seeing why the Raiders fans are terrible tonight: in the past 3 minutes, a fan has flicked off the camera on live television and another ran onto the field right before a play started. Woodson apparently made a pretty epic tackle but no video yet.

eagles fans booing injured players is seriously one of the most shameful things in football. its sad to think that kelly is such an awful roster manager and has put this culture into philly due to the already edgy nature of their fans.

So...that "spike" attempt huh? What I don't get is (I wasn't paying much attention mind you, only really looked up when I heard the play), why did the Redskins just not toss out the FG unit instead of having to snap to spike the ball?

Besides which, not being 4th down, a FG kick at six seconds would give the Eagles time for a kickoff return or something. Taking a second or two off the clock with one quick play, even if it was just a spike, ensures the Eagles don't get the ball back at all. Cousins just had a massive brain fart.

The national media's reaction to Peyton Manning's alleged PED use vs its reaction to Tom Brady during deflategate will say alot

Especially in the root of all evils, Indianapolis.

On the one hand I want people to give him the benefit of the doubt

But on the other hand, Tom Brady's noose was already hanging a few hours after deflategate broke.

Not everything needs to be referenced back to Deflategate. Pats fans say they just wanna move forward but you seem to mention it every second post. Brady's suspension was overturned so why not focus on, oh I don't know, something positive like the Patriots being the top seed despite the horrific second half injury toll or some hero never watching the NFL again.

Everything needs to be compared to deflategate because it is the most grandiose example of reporting gone wrong

and one thing people keep forgetting about deflategate when they tell patriots fans to "let it go" is:

The Patriots lost a fourth and FIRST ROUND DRAFT pick for it.

For literally nothing

And Patriots fans are supposed to move forward and not care?

If the Ravens lost their first overall pick (in the top 5) this year for no reason would you "move forward?"

The main difference between that and PFM is that DFG was an NFL allegation and investigation handed down from the top, while as far as anyone is concerned this HGH thing is basically one guy saying it, right now.

Given how fast players have returned from injury, and the fact that HGH wasn't banned or tested for way too long, it should come as no surprise that some major players used it. I remember seeing estimates that almost half the league used it, but probably more of the fringe players than the superstars. I'm honestly surprised it's taken this long for a major story to break.

Well deflategate never would have started if ESPN's Chris Mortensen didn't run a report with false info in it, which in turn set off the public lynch mob of Patriot haters, which set off the league office.

The suspension was overturned, yet everywhere you look people call Brady a cheater and say that he was responsible for deflating the footballs and he should be castrated and all this other bullshit that is irrelevant. Even though it was 1. deflating footballs lol and 2. not even true, people still act like tom brady is poison and a terrible human being without him choosing to deserve it. I'm not surprised that Brady never talks to the media and seems to be rude to people - he never gets a chance because people seemingly want to hate his guts with everything they have.

Literally, go onto every article about this story and look at the comments. There are people who tie it back and are like "oh but brady actually was a cheater lololol" and it's literally on every article once every five comments. It's honestly pathetic and it's pissing me off. If you think deep in your heart that Brady cheated, that's fine, but that's your opinion and nothing more, so when people act like it's fact it pisses everybody off. And furthermore, Patriots fans have every right to be salty. They lost 2 high draft picks because the media couldn't shut up and goodell thought that tampering was worth that massive of a penalty. Patriots fans now have an us vs the world mentality and it's not even their problem.
