Anybody else only get a 404 not found from the link to the article in the Pm? It worked from here and the public announcements link but not in the subscription message.

yea, they accidentally added a ''g'' at the end of grubbin on the link bar.

Sory if I'm ripping into an old and closed debate here, but I think it would be better to present the "judgements" sorted by Pokémon rather than by author. That way, it's easier to see the differing opinions on the various designs, rather than clicking through the authors to see what they all thought in isolation. Seeing the author's thoughts listed next to each other made it much easier to see and compare conflicting opinions in the original format of JAP.

I suppose that could work but the only problem is the page will become huge. This way the page stays a decent size, not sure how we can work around that tho.

The actual amount of the text on the page won't change. Currently, we show text about all Pokémon when clicking the avatar of each author, but only one author at a time. What about showing text by all authors when clicking the picture of each Pokémon, but only one Pokémon at a time?

in theory it's a good idea to contrast the different opinions, but it has so many cons.

a) scrollfest. we get ~8 authors for jape these days
b) the opinion of the person that gets posted last might just as well get ignored
c) i prefer reading the author's review as a whole. it's not that hard to click the different avatars
d) what happens if we only have one mon?
e) looks a lot messier design wise

i thought about all situations but definitely not feasible

Randomise them then. This already happens when you group by author.
no, not really. and one person's opinion will get dismissed in every different mon then. my other points still stand. and randomizing will make everything look messy.

no, not really.

How so? You previously said "the opinion of the person that gets posted last might just as well get ignored". Why does grouping by author not have this effect?

and one person's opinion will get dismissed in every different mon then

Better than that one person getting ignored consistently. Randomising would not solve the problem of people getting bored reading, but it would mean everyone would have an equal opportunity to be in that last spot.

not at all lol, you open every author's when reading. if you dont wanna read all that's up to you, but you probably won't scroll far down. this is not up for discussion
