Pokemon: The New First Gen (Submissions for new Pokemon Over, Except costumes)

Status
Not open for further replies.
Just saying guys, We could TECHNICALLY test out a few of the Pokemon using Custom Battles. (Disbarring New Moves, Abilities, Items, Or type Combinations.)
Hype

Also, just wanna update a couple small things-

Terrainiem: Gets Sludge Bomb, Rock Slide, and Stone Edge to go along with Toxic and Rocky Terrain as well as Nature Power for a Weather Ball-esque move.

Mega Ariados: Give it Brute Force instead of Merciless

That's all for now

Meger-Dhelmise
Ability: Gardener (Receives Grass STAB)
Type: Ghost/Steel
HP: 70
Attack: 146 (+15)
Defense: 120 (+20)
Special Attack: 71 (-15)
Special Defense: 120 (+30)
Speed: 90 (+50)
Base Stat Total: 617

Description: Dhelmise becomes more steel, the moss and grass turns to gruesome plant rust.

The type change alone warrants Mega Stone consideration. It's got strength, its got defenses, and unlike Aegislash, it has 3 STABs, and decent speed. It does sacrifice a Mega Stone to do it, so heed that fact well.

ahem

For the Harmonian Megas, the same with the Harmonian Forms, I'd prefer if we exploited Pokemon and Abilities unique to Harmo.

Jawnado-Mega
Ability: Aerilate
HP: 75
Attack: 140 (+30)
Defense: 75 (+20)
Special Attack: 85 (+10)
Special Defense: 80 (+10)
Speed: 135 (+30)
Base Stat Total: 590
Description: One GIANT shark with tornadoes coming out of its fins, with said tornadoes having MORE sharks flying in them.

tbh in making the first harmonian form i expected people to actually exploit new features, which is what i did with draconic light
IT'S A F*CKING SHARKNADO
EVERYBODY RUN

Item ideas:

Physicalium: This Pokemon's special attacks are now physical, but it cannot use actual physical attacks. (Basically a Brute Force item with a drawback)
Specialium: This Pokémon's physical attacks are now special, but it cannot use actual special attacks.

A little late. Base Jawnado was already a sharknado.

Here's a Meger Evolution for what I'm pretty sure was intended as this mod's mascot line

Pyromoose-Mega
Ability: Burninate (Turns Normal moves into Fire moves and boosts them by 1.2x)
HP: 74
Attack: 140 (+24)
Defense: 73 (+13)
Special Attack: 120 (+30)
Special Defense: 73 (+13)
Speed: 147 (+20)
Base Stat Total: 627 out of 627
Description: idk what pyromoose even looks like honestly so this is just a stat dump

_-Mega

HP:

Defense:
Special Attack:
Special Defense:
Speed:
Base Stat Total:
Description:

More Etems!! (Items)

  • Magic Barrier - basically Air Ballon for Psychic types
  • Mutant Orb - 1.2x boost to non STAB moves but 0.9x multiplier to STABs
  • Rainbow Gem - 1.3333x boost to the first move used, Rainbow Gem is consumed on the process
  • Luck Shield - prevents critical hits and secondary effects from striking the user
  • Magic Boots - 1.1x speed
  • Suspicious Medicine - When the user is at 1/4th HP or less, Suspicious Medicine fully heals the user, but attempts to badly poison the user in return
  • Aqua Heart - user restores 1/12th of its HP under rain every turn
  • Burning Heart - user restores 1/12th of its HP under sunlight every turn
  • Sand Orb - the user's attack deal 1.3x extra damage under sand, but if sand isn't up, the user is damaged by 1/10th of its HP every turn
  • Hail Orb - the user's attack deal 1.3x extra damage under hail, but if hail isn't up, the user is damaged by 1/10th of its HP every turn

I think Incinerate is better, not to mention that one of the Pokemon I submitted already has the same exact ability named Incinerate :P

In deep contrast to the Ground type, the Psychic type does NOT need a nerf, thank you very much. What is this, Gen 1? Oh wait, they didn't HAVE items.
IMO change Burninate to Pyronate or Conflagrate
I stand by my decision to name it Burninate.
True, I'll change mine to Conflagrate or Pyronate then, you guys decide which one is better and I'll edit it
Burninate.

1 - Psychic-types kind of need a nerf tbh, Pokébank Harmo is probably gonna be filled with Tape Leles, Mega Alakazams and the busted Variabrawl-Fortune with 160 SpA and 130 Spe, and unlike Mega Zam, Variabrawl-F can actually hold a Choice Specs ;-;
2 - No one uses Air Ballon and it sucks tbh, I doubt that with Magic Barrier it will be any different
3 - This item was mostly made for flavor if you guys really want, I guess it could half the power of Psychic Moves but it still doesn't feel right to me
I stand by my decision to name it Burninate.
4 - Burninate sounds awful lol, Idk why you like that name so much tbh
5 - I like Mega Pyromoose though :]

Meger Clawitzer
Type 1: Water
Type 2: Fighting
Ability: Bunker Buster - Aura and Pulse moves break through enemy protect-like effects (Protect and detect) as well as automatically destroying substitutes and dealing damage through them. When I say break through enemy protecting effects, I mean like Feint - they're disabled for the turn in doubles. Also ignores screens and has a 20% chance to destroy them.
Health: 71 (+0)
Attack: 83 (+10)
Defense: 103 (+15)
Special Attack: 185 (+65)
Special Defense: 109 (+20)
Speed: 49 (-10)
Design: It gains spiky armor on its main body. Its claw-gun is now a massive railgun that it slams down onto the ground when entering battle, and said railgun is covered in spikes. A smaller claw-gun replaces the normal claw. The two tendrils on the big claw-gun have small spiky balls on the end.
It's fairly obvious that this thing is a monstrous wallbreaker. Unfortunately has to run speed investment to outrun Chansey. Also, because Water Pulse doesn't get a damage boost anymore, it sucks and this makes it have to run Scald/Surf. Struggles against fairy types, as they're immune or resistant to all the other aura/pulse moves.

In the fourth place, Burninate sounds awful lol, Idk why you like that name so much tbh
Air Balloon is used on Heatran, Magnezone and some other things fairly commonly.

Very cool :D, but we'd need Dragalge too, since they're counterparts, also, I feel like it would be better if its ability was just Mega Launcher, Bunker Buster sounds too complex imao

I know its common but its very bad tbh Heatran will always want to run either Bloom Doom or Leftovers, if defensive, and Mag's usage of Air Ballon is just a niche to trap Exca, which really doesn't make sense in my eyes, since Iron Head will pop the ballon and unless the Mag has like HP Ground it won't be doing too much to Excadrill anyways :P

1. I'm doing Dragalge
2. If the ability was Mega Launcher it'd be too OP. BB isn't even that complex.

Pokebank Harmo is highly unlikely to happen, and even then, it would be a secondary metagame to the main one.

Revamping Mega Ledian to be more Harmo-y (changes from the original in bold)

Mega Ledian
Ability: Swarm/Early Bird/Iron Fist ----> Macho
Typing
:
bug.gif
fighting.gif

Stats-
HP: 55
Attack: 35 -> 120 (+85)
Defense: 50
Special Attack: 55 -> 20 (-35)
Special Defense: 110
Speed: 85 -> 145 (+50)
New Moves it gets
: Lunge
Stone: Ledianite
New Description: With the discovery of a new Mega Stone for Ledian, Ledian finally has the chance to hit the gym! Gaining a gargantuan boost to it's Attack stat, as well as a smaller boost to Speed, Ledian is ready kick butt and do it quick. In fact, this mega stone bulks it up so much that Ledian gains the ability Macho (previously only on less than a handful of Harmonian mons) to further show off it's new power. With a neutral nature, Mega Ledian's Attack stat reaches a nice 407 (446 with Adamant) and it's Defense goes up enough to maybe take a hit it couldn't before. All this plus Ledian's amazing physical movepool, including Lunge, and Ledian is ready to pound your opponents.

Also, here's a couple sets for Mega Ariados and Mega Dhelmise:
Bulky Attacker:
Ariados-Mega @ Ariadite

Mega Ledian seems outclassed by Mega Beedrill, especially since its fighting stab move is low power and it doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as MBeedrill.
